No offense to Michael Anthony But......... I take issue with this statement"We pull Joe out his shell a little bit now," he says with another chuckle. "He actually breaks a sweat and moves around onstage. That's something that he doesn't do very often doing the solo thing".

Personal opinion ........solo gig is as demanding or more so. Joe's been breaking a sweat for years.

He was joking but .......just saying...... ;-)

hii Joe,

I'am a 14 year old girl from the Netherlands. I am a big fan since I was young. And in 2008 I've seen you the first time live, i was in the front line. And you gave me a pic. (and my daddy caught one) In 2009 I've seen you with Chickenfoot @ Weardse Tempel. And I was again in the frontline, And I caught a pic.

In Paradiso I've made some pictures. But, unfortunately I've lost them..

Anyways, I hope you come fast back to the Netherlands.

Loves Sophie

Scooby Curmudgeon Grumpy Doo - What does the title "In Held T'was In I" mean? Keith Reid explained that each word in the title was the first word in each of the songs that comprised this opus.

Edit - Yeah, Cuth the Ranter, wherefore art thou? We miss you!

This is short notice, but Davy Knowles & Back Door Slam have a few shows coming up on the west coast. Click here. Seattle and Portland are included. Also, michelle, they're playing in Philly on New Year's Eve. Maybe this is old news, but I thought I'd share...

In other old (in a manner of speaking) news, here are a few links to some end of the year/decade "best-of" lists that we all hate:

Rolling Stone's 100 Best Albums of the Decade
Biggest Selling Albums And Singles of the Decade

I think these lists are horrible, but that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. I only own six albums from RS's list (three from U2, two from Sigur Ros, and The Killers' Hot Fuss). The only album I own on the other list is Creed's Human Clay, and I've only heard three of the top 10 singles.

Some better (older) lists from Rolling Stone can be found here. Their Top 100 from the 1980s and Essential Albums from the 1990s lists are pretty good (yes, even though I don't like rap/hip-hop, I agree with their choices there).

Just something to talk about, I guess...

I want to say I saw your show in Boston this past summer. I was blown away. Your music makes love to my ears. It's the sweetest ear candy ever. When are you coming to Boston again? Any plans to play The House of Blues?

as you know, i ended up going to NYC twice to see the Chickenfoot movie, as so did 14 others who came again the next night Dec 2nd ...probably more from the info in the letter i recieved from sony today...maybe your interested?...at least it will make up for the "Trick" that was played on us in NY. http://www.chickenfoot.us/photo/axeshredder/chickenfoot-livenyc

__________

We have discussed your incident with the entertainment management company that helped bring the program to us. The issue with the date change was due to the theater not being available to screen the event on the same date as nationwide; and we had an overwhleming demand to bring to NY via email. Marketing materials were already in place, and perhaps not best managed with update. We certainly understand your frustration with making two trips to the theater.

The issue with the sound system, I need to specify that Chelsea Cinema is not a Sony theater. It was a theater that was able to participate in the program. We are still researching why the audio was not meeting the normal standards for digital cinema.

What we would like to offer you is a prize pack from the artist management and a gift card from Sony, good for use at the Sony Style stores.

____

Score!..lol...Writing letters pay off!...at least it makes u for the huge effort and cost i made to see that movie..lol...but it was great!

Joe - So as you are preparing to enjoy the holidays with your family, can you take a moment to share with us what your plans are for the first quarter next year? Anything coming up or are you going to take a few months off and chill?

If you don't check in again before Christmas, I hope you and your family have a safe, happy holidy.
