Hey Everyone!

I started my first day of work at the Marriott and it went good. Did a banquet function for about 500 people. The coworkers/staff there are nice and there was good teamwork and communication from them than my prior hotel job.

Do The Stu: I missed the Grammy Nominations (went to bed early), but I heard about who was nominated. Too bad Chickenfoot wasn't nominated. Even though they won't win one, they still win my praise for an excellent job in what they do. I have my predictions on who might win. (Don't worry, it's not Coldplay folks). Don't forget to put my name(s) in the hat. Still haven't heard from the movie theater yet.

Skippygirl: I may not be doing any Huff Run because of work, but I might do a 5K Run later this month. If I do it, I'll have about 20 runs/races in the book for 2009. One reason is my jobs because of upcoming Holiday parties.

Blue_Moon: Like the 2012 Olympic logo; LOL on the Simpson shot. The SImpsons are now Chickenfoot fans. Now the band needs to appear on the show. Again, congrats on your milestone posts. Looks like you're on your way to 10,000.

Hiya Joe, many thanks for your music and long may you rock! Just a thought that may be of interest you. During the 60's a band called "Love Sculpture" issued a single called "Sabre Dance" and I believe that the lead guitar was Dave Edmonds who I am sure that you know. It was great for the 60's decade and I play it often, but the recording and technique is sadly now rather dated. Joe, if you can find the time - listen to it and imagine what you and your talent could could give to this instrumental. With "Alien" in mind, "Sabre Dance" by Joe Satriani would go down a !!?!?!! storm. I am absolutely sure of it. Take Care and keep rockin' Best Regards,Mike (Frigopol).

GlitzMan....yes I would gladly take one of your jobs. Things suck up here pretty bad. A guy can't even go in the woods and run a chainsaw anymore. May have to pack up and find a more productive area if it does'nt get better soon.

Anybody can fuck the Wikipedia, but I resist the temptation to become G3 for a few hours till someone else....

The cartoon of Joe makes him look 85, which he does not deserve.

Everything in it's right place

Classic - or classic crap?

I get the feeling Radiohead are like marmite/vegemite!?

Or how about Everything in it's right place (live) with added Chickenhead at the start!?

Hi, this message is not to praise satriani, everybody does it, it gives an idea for a new G3, with a good guitarist, buckethead, I think they know.

another idea is to include a famous local singer or the most famous worldwide.

excuse if not well understood, not native English speakers, Spanish only.

Is All, thanks and good luck from chile

And to any T2Jer's going to Vegas, safe travels..........

Pip- I like Radiohead in small helpings, can not say the same for vegimite.

Hmmm, Experience Hendrix in Reno in March...soundin good, soundin like a definite possibility....hate the venue, it's more like a cafeteria, but is worth it to see this show....gonna check on tix tomorrow then, thanks for the link Austin!

Anyone else think they might make the Reno trip? Lets hook up if so!! Besides Joe we've got Eric Johnson and Kenny Wayne Shephard to look forward to :) Plus running around the casino causing havoc and mayhem....

Mckenna, u shud come so you can NOT be served any alchoholic beverages again, but E can, LOL!!

Glad everyone that made it to the Chickenfoot movie enjoyed it, woulda loved to have seen this on the big screen! Sorry u missed it chelle-belle :( Austin, sitting behind Chad prolly made it that much more fun...and scary, LOL!! Can't wait for the dvd! Oh and sure, as long as yer taking names, throw Chrispy into the poster-hat, lol...nice of you to do that for someone A :)

OOOO happy late birthday to E chelle...sorry I missed it on the actual day, been so busy and distracted here. Loved the pic of her birthday prezzie...HOTNESS!! LOL! How was her head and tummy the next day, any evidence? :D

Hybes, yep, know where Stillwater, OK is...it's a shame u couldn't make the movie.

Peace Lily, good choices on yer recent dvd and music purchases :)

Alan...yer already a grumpy old man. But I vote fer u on the next G3, lol!

GRAMMY NOMS SUCK!!

This has been a public-service announcement, now back to yer regularly scheduled programming.....

Pip: just seen you posted some vids! i'm sure no matter what the prize was some (fans?) would still play games just so they could be #1. i wish everyone luck. who knows who's gonna win. if it's the band who chooses the winner then who knows what their preferences are or what they are looking for in that winning video!

Blue: the song is sounding great! keep up the good work! if ya ever need lyrics let me know i'm much better at that then playing my guitar lol. had some pros look at a couple of my songs years ago who encouraged me to put them out there but never did.

hey axe; you're right i did mix that up. good luck on the vids!

burly; me and the mrs have ours under RIREDROCKER! caught some cool moments before or after the songs, but like i said above don't know what the band is looking for.

hey elpp that is so wierd, is it global warming or global cooling? has anyone heard of the new climategate scandal? now we have the scientists on the other side of the debate changing the data! wtf!

funny one mikesb!

np Don

its so hillarious how in the last 24 hours my videos have been pummeled with low ratings...and some pretty awful ones have been voted up....im sorry but if your any kind of fan...how could you rate any of the four vids i have less than 5 stars...screw the guitar...i have hundreds of dollars invested in thos recordings....i refuse too stoop to the level of multiple memberships and trust this contest is being managed by someone who knows the deal and whats going on over there...i wouldnt want the guitar if i was cheating to get it.....reminds me of when my tracks at the king of blues were #1, #2, and #3 and after the list was posted...well need i say, some pretty awful stuff made the top ten....anyone with eyes and ears will see the stars and totals mean absolute zero at this point....please cue me to a better vid than i posted please...ive seen so many and either the audio is bad or video is obstructed with heads...with no offense to those here...but really..lol

Peace Lilly - I'd agree with you. I love some of their stuff, others I can't be bothered with... but I can't touch vegimite lol

Cappy - really? I expect you have a better palette than me, it just makes me go yuuuuhhk (or similar). Bet you can do rice pudding too?

Blue Moon - not a fan of radio head or marmite lol. Did you hear T's question about Reno? Think I already asked you somewhere, so how's about it?

You may have to go in order to win back E from the read of it!

Cheese101 - is that a date then (so to speak)? Let me see... just planning here. Fly in the day before, trans to Reno, watch the show, go home that night. Oh hang on, that's even less relaxing than last time.....

Don1963 - yep, I did a couple. The way I read it the band will choose, and if that's the case I have a feeling on what will win, and rightly so IMO. However, the best video I've seen on YT doesn't seem to be up

Axeshredder - as per my post above to Don, I don't think you have anything to worry about. Webmaster is hugely tech savvy so I'm confident a safe system is in place, and IMO if the band are picking the winner I think I know where it's headed so I hope it's done that way

You have DM by the way

c'maaaaan pip, come to Reno, u know u wanna...take a coupla extra days to make it easier on yerself, lol!!

I don't think Mc will ever wanna come to Reno again since they wouldn't serve him booze even though he was 23....feck sake, that's just so WRONG!! They missed out on some serious $$$ from him, lol!!

I've voted on my favorite vids, done by my favorite peeps. I'll be glad when it's over though and we can all move along. Good luck to all!

So there's to be a webcast of the sound check and announcement of the winner tomorrow night....details, oh wise webmaster??

Pippy - Whenever I think of marmite I think of Worf in Star Trek TNG drinking prune juice saying how good it was and that it was a warrior's drink. For some reason (although my warrior days are far behind me) I now think of marmite as warrior's food.
