I only caught Phoneix, ..missing a very important one in NYC in Aug..wishing I had not missed that one .. long story. But, having never seen Sammy before ever, it was an extra treat from that point of view only. Wondering, if they will do another record, .. hoping they do somehow.

does anyone know what satch' s VERY first album is called, and where you can get it (ive tried ebay)? not "not of this earth", the one in this interview, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JuPEcNuEQv0&feature=related. the one with only guitar parts. this is the ultimate collectors item. best start to a career.

I don't think this has been posted here yet, but Metallica fan Morgan Harrington's remains have been found (Washington Post, Blabbermouth, Metallica).

JR, it's a real treat to have you gabbing on the board with us :) So sorry you missed the NY show, for several reasons, but I'm sure it's understood why. If only we did have that Time Machine and could go backwards, things could be different. But I'm thinkin he knows yer heart and it's okay.
I'm with you, hoping for another album, maybe more than 2, who knows!! This was just too dang good and too much fun for it to be the only one! I thought from the first road test show we saw in May in San Fran that Joe looked sooo happy and like he was having the BEST time!! I wanted that ride to keep going for him, and for us :)) Great chemistry between these guys, and a wonderful opportunity for Joe to live out another of his dreams!! So glad we were around for it!! Here's to more! And if you have the time, hope you stick around for a bit, or at least check in every now and then :)
I feel sooo much for the girl's family now that she's been found. What a horrible mix of emotions they must be going through. Something no parent should ever have to endure. What a dark place they must be in, I hope they can find their way back out into the light some day.

I saw TR3 (Tim Reynolds of DMB fame) at the Brixton in Redondo Beach tonight...it's the same small club where I saw the Steve Morse Band a few weeks ago.
The highlight of the night, and the most bizarre thing I've ever seen during a concert EVER, was this:

Hello Joe. When you return to Brazil, play his guitar in Recife. I would love to see him playing on the same land where they have played Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Offspring and More to Come A-HA. Still very different from other major Brazilian cities like Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. I found the sound of your guitar now and I'm imagining a day sees him playing in the heart of northeastern Brazil.
A big hug!
Note: Sorry for the bad English!

Hi! UK people, careful if you order Joe's new DVD from amazon.co.uk, it looks like only the CD on offer and not the DVD, so I ordered it from www.cdwow.com, where it clearly shows both separate items. BTW it is £10.99..........brill value for our Joe.......

Ok, this is for all the gearheads out there, yes you to JOE. I have a line on a couple of JSX amps, a 212 combo for 725.00, or a complete stack, head and two cabs for 800.00 USD. Now I really don't need the full stack, but I figure it's such a good deal, that I could sell one cab and actually make some money off of it! My biggest question ( for those that know) will the half stack sound better at all, than the 212 combo or is it a toss up? I really need some input here!! Tony.

Peace Lily....I just recently stumbled upon him looking for some tips on slide playing. Seems like a good starting point for me.
smokintonye....I think they would both sound good. After that it's just a matter of preference. I would personally go with the combo as it is easier to haul around.

Ummm...thanks?
smokintonye....Actually, I take that back sort of. If my amp had casters on it, it would be easier than the half-stack. But it's nothing but a back-breaking prick right now..lol.
Sir_Loin..funny, but not a very pleasant mental image.
And my next question. Should we humor this person or ignore them? lol..

McDave- Yeah I heard they are pretty freakin' heavy. I was hoping the guy with the full stack would sell me just the Head and 1 cab, but he doesn't want to seperate them! 800.00 bucks is just so Damn cheap ,it's hard to pass up, wish I could buy both!! I suppose the combo is more practical though......Decisions,decisions.LOL!

JR - You've posted more in the past day than you have in the past six or seven years...keep it up! ;-)
erosfilosagape - I'll let him give more details if he wants, but since Joe mentioned it here years ago...yes, they're one and the same.
McDave - Cool video...thanks! He reminds me a lot of Steve Morse / the Dixie Dregs for some reason, even though he's pretty different.
smokintonye - Go for the combo...you can always trade up later.
