Watching the Jonathon Ross show and Rhianna's on. Camera was zoomed on a guitar with N4 on it... then shows a fretting hand with black finger nails so I think "this guy is obviously a big Nuno fan...."
... except when they zoomed out it revealed (unsurprisingly) - Nuno Bettencourt. I felt pretty dumb... Nuno & Rihanna
Now I remember someone here posted Nuno's on tour with her.!
Anyways.... what movies make you feel like it's Christmas time and why?
I would have said 'About a boy' as it seemed to be a TV fave over here... except it's been on 2 week rotation for the last year.....

Skippygirl - morning (?) Skippy, good call!
I'd go for that one. The two that really make me think Christmas are 'The Santa Clause' and Serendipity.
Trade your sun & temps for some snow at Christmas?

Alan, please let me be the first to say keeping playing your bass. I actually love the effect it has on the song...it's not perfect, but in a way that makes it more perfect than even Stu Hamm could do it to me.
The bass track is very out there somewhere...not normal, and I love that, please keep it, you certainly play a meaner bass than I ever could hope to.
I absolutely love that song man, keep making them and posting them, it's awesome to hear other peoples work.

Joe Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I want to wish you all a blessed Christmas holiday season. I have been really consumed with many different things lately and it seems as if at times we lose sight of what we should be doing for one another and that is praying and giving support and well wishes for all.
Merry Christmas everyone.

Hi Joe. Only just read about your mother and wanted to also pass on my condolences.
When my father passed away (also from Cancer) 3 years ago, music was the thing that kept me going. I ended up joining a band (www.flailingpits.com) that played solely to raise funds for research into Cancer for a UK charity called Cancer Research UK.
It is a truly crappy and totally indescriminiate disease.
Truly sorry for your loss.

Hey Joe, im sorry to hear about your mother. I will keep her in my prayers. But anyway, hello! I am 14 years old, and just listen to your music all the time. I do own a white ibanez js1, and i must say........AWESOME JOB on the way you put your guitars together. All my friends are jealous of my skills, and dont know how i can play the mystical potato head groove thing, haha I usually play 2 or 3 hours a day, and im in a band. For the church though, so no satch magic in the music. Well its great being able to listen to your talent, and im eyeing up on getting a chrome boy some day.......haha thanks for inspiring me to play guitar! you rock. -Adam

Pip - yeah, love that movie. Did you get the elfin' I sent you lol? Sorry I can't swap the Christmas climate, I can't imagine spending Christmas in the cold or with snow. I love the warm sunny Christmas morning and lunch, backyard cricket and World Cup badminton, snooze in the hammock etc.
Joe - you've probably had a tough week with the funeral and everything. I hope you can begin to enjoy Christmas and absorb all the love we've sent you, there is still a huge hug around you, I'm in the middle of the Aussie one :0)
