well, I do feel ever so special with all that personalization, LOL!! And with being told to f off, warms the cockles of my wee heart it does :)
You should see what's under my tree....about 2 weeks ago, my brother asks if I have wrapping paper, etc he can use for his presents. I told him of course, and got it out for him, tags, bows. He then sez how he doesn't like wrapping presents and I say "oh well". And walk away.
So about every other day since then, he's said to me "I just HATE wrapping presents!!!!" And I've said OH WELL!!! Finally after expressing this AGAIN to me 2 days ago, I tole him I am NOT gonna wrap his prezzies for him, he can quit hinting and get off his bum and do em himself, that I've done EEEEEEVERYTHING ELSE to get ready for the holiday and he can darn well wrap em himself!!! He humphed and walked away.
So I come home from work the next day....and there under the tree are his prezzies, wrapped in paper, kinda, no bows, and no tags...just wrote on them in big black felt pen who they were for.
LMAO!! SEE! I tole him he could do it! BIG BABY!!
I betcha u at least use a bow, Mc :)

Well, I just came here to say hey to everyone and wish a Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year.
Traveling tomorrow morning, so I don“t expect I“ll have time to come back and write any later than this. You all take care. You too, Joe! It“s been really nice coming and knowing a bit more everyone here (during 2009) and I can only hope 2010 will be just as good.
I“m off to my guitar!

Grant...thanks for the holiday wishes. I wish I had more spirit this year. I just had to drop $300 down for propane to keep the house warm. How's that for a stocking stuffer? Perfect timing as always. I'm starting to think that maybe I'm a little depressed..or maybe I just need a hug..lol. I hope it's the latter..
I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday anyhow..
Peace out...McD'

michelle - That's a good song...there aren't many songs about Christmas or Jesus' life that use the words "oh Daddy-o", that's for sure. ;-)
Tomorrow I'm headed up to visit my family for Christmas, and I'm staying through the weekend. I actually might be more active on T2J when I'm away than I've been here at home lately.
It's been a busy/stressful/tough/slightly disappointing last few months for me, but I hope things will be better after the holidays. I know I haven't talked about much personal stuff here...my complaints seem so little/trivial compared to some of the other things people here are going through.
Anyway, I don't want to sound depressing (not too depressing, anyway...haha), but I'll talk to everyone later. Travel safe, all, and have a happy holiday ahead. :-)
...Austin...

Dear Joe,
Deepest condolences on the loss of your mother. I lost my father 4 years ago Dec. 19. Then my mother died 51 days later on Feb. 8. It's especially difficult this time of year, with the holidays and all. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Will be looking forward to seeing you in Denver on the Hendrix tribute tour.
Wishing you and your family peace, comfort and love this holiday season.

Aerosmith's Tyler enters rehab
Dec. 23, 2009, 7:32 AM EST
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler says he has entered a rehab clinic to treat an addiction to pain killers he has taken to cope with 10 years of performance injuries.
Tyler says in a statement released Tuesday to People and Rolling Stone magazines that he is eager to return to work with his bandmates.
The band canceled a summer tour in August after Tyler fell off the stage during a performance in South Dakota and broke his left shoulder.
Tyler's doctor Brian McKeon told People that orthopedic injuries over the past decade have left the 61-year-old rocker with severe chronic pain that will require surgeries on his knees and feet.
A message left by The Associated Press after business hours for Tyler's manager Allen Kovac was not immediately returned.

I'm in San Francisco with the better half. Good times! I wanted to go visit Real Guitars but forgot to check the address before I left the hotel, I ended up walking really close by when looking for my bank without knowing it. I don't know if I wanna go back there, though... Being reminded that I'm broke and can't afford a new guitar ain't something I wanna do this week... Too much other stuff to do anyway... There's a Guitar Center nearby too, but if the Hollywood store does not have decent lefties, what makes me think this one will?
I need to go to that left handed guitar store in Houston, that's what I need to do
Happy Holidays, everybody!

Since I don't post that often, a 1000th post is somewhat of a milestone for me... So I figured I should try to summarize my participation on this forum with something relevant and meaningful...
