Hey Everyone:
I had the run earlier today and here are my results from the Run/Race (About a 7.3 Mile Run):
I had a time of 47 minutes and 8 seconds; placed 1st in my Age Division, and overall (out of 95 participants) I finished in 2nd. The weather was sunny and windy, but the trails weren't as muddy like last year.
Joe: Hope you, Sammy, Michael, and Chad enjoy your trip to Cabo next week. Safe journeys to you and the crew.
Ibanezplyr: Glad you're doing well and to hear that the stitches will come out soon. Hope you are able to walk soon. Best to you.
Peace Lily: Hope things go well for you at that birthday party. Prayers to the family at the funeral.
Skippygirl: Thanks for the luck, I needed that and it paid off. Thank you again for the encouragement.
Axeshredderjc: All the best to you. Maybe I could help you lose the 30 lbs. I like cheesecake myself, but I don't eat it a lot. I try to cut back on sweets/desserts, and I started going for more alternatives such as yougurt, fruit, and even Breyer's Ice Cream. Breyer's is much better than a lot of other ice creams (in my opinion). Maybe you could try that. I also started eating more fruits and vegetables so that's a big plus for me. My cholesterol dropped 15 points last year because I started counting calories, looking at labels, choosing whole grains, eating more fruits/vegetables, drinking water (and sometimes Gatorade/Powerade), and not drinking any alcoholic beverages. Let me know what's up.

Let me start by saying, I have enjoyed your music since the early 90's. A friend from around Seattle turned me on to you and it has made my life richer ever since. Thanks for continuing to put out albums. My favorite is the self-titled one with all the blues flavor on it. I hope that you will do another one like that soon. I would really like to know what type of guitars, amps, and effects were used on that album. It was a killer sound for sure. I hope one day you might could play a Tunica, MS casino. I've never seen you live but would love to. Thanks again for all your hard work...

Peesy Lilly - Great interview - thanks for the link. So a European tour in October and a new bass player and Chickenfoot in 2011. *Sigh* wish it was Australia's turn again. Hmmm....a trip to Europe would be alright......

That's an excellent interview.
I like how Joe says he has songs in a bunch of different styles...I think it'd be neat to get an "out there" album like JS95 or EOC instead of a standard rock album. His last few have been like that...they're good, but I think it's time for something different.
Also, I looked up the new bass player...Allen Whitman is from that band The Mermen that Joe mentioned on T2J a while ago. That could be cool. :-)
...Austin...

Awww phooey, we don't get VH1 here so had to miss the show. Hopefully the episode shows up on the web somewhere :)
Peace, thanks for the links, good watching AND reading! I dunno when Joe even sleeps!!
Interesting to look at things from his persepective with regards to always having cameras running....that must be very intrusive and annoying at times. Part of the price you pay I know, but having NO privacy...sigh. It could be worse Joe....I think you can still walk down the street anonymously in day-to-day life, at least sometimes, but I imagine it's getting harder to do even that. Chris volunteers to be one of yer bodyguards if you ever need him, lol!!
Taking Chrispy home today. He managed to bring his guitar and JSX amp home with him this trip, and is going back with those things PLUS....my car is always more full on the trip home. He's so anxious to get back, get set up and play :) It's a beautiful day for a trip over the mountains!

thanks for the links peace!! awesome interviews!
cappy; everyone has a different perspective, there are lessons you can learn from, like never repeating a mistake and living your life the best you can, but to me life is just one big chaotic existence that has no ryhme or reason and is more like leaves blowing in the wind. sometimes the breeze drops you in a nice lush meadow with beautiful scenery. sometimes you get dropped in a puddle by the side of a dirty road getting stomped on by everyone walking by. to me thats life. you can try to influence it and change your circumstances but at any moment your life can change in the blink of an eye. so to me no grand design, no higher being, no fate or anything else like that, just the chaos of life, thats all, no more. i'm not without hope, thats about all that keeps me going sometimes. just realistic and without illusions. if any of this makes sense?

Morning peeps, I have been off for a while. I am seeing some buzz about new solo satch this summer. Does that mean Chickenfoot will not be doing a second album this year?
Glitz - nice run. 2nd place is pretty sweet. Do you know the time of the person that took 1st?
