i know this is an odd ball question , but my dad 89 this year
wants to take up the violin now he's left handed like me but he's being taught to play right handed which at his age is stupid,
if he were younger he wouldn't care so much , do any one or do you Joe and friends know of any world famous or semi famous left handed violinist ?

oxley, that's pretty funny! My kids loved The Power Rangers. Now I get to show them that even The Power Rangers loved Joe. lmao! Really funny that Joe's music is so badass they used it for their shows. Thanks for the chuckle.

Dear Joe Satriani :
First of all, i would like to say that i am a big fan of your music. I am the guitar instructor of a music school that has been around for almos 10 years that is called KONZERT ESCUELA DE MUSICA in the city of Culiacān Sinaloa, Mexico.
Right now we are working on what`s going to be our next event which is going to be a guitar concert, around 40 of our best guitar students will be participating in such event wich will include a couple of your songs.
The students are very excited and have being showing gret interest in your work troughout the years. At this point i would like to ask you for a big favor: right before each of your songs begin we will play a 20-to-30 seconds video that will talk about you, your carrer and most of all LEGACY, so what i`m asking from you is if you be kind enough to send me just a hello and a few words for my pupils mentioning KONZERT MUSIC SCHOOL in CULIACAN, MEXICO (so they realize, it`s for them) on video or even just a voice message, i`m sure that this will change this people`s lives for ever for they have no clue about this. This will motivate them an change they`re lives forever.
I really hope this message gets to you and also that you learn how this kids (who`s ages are from 9 to 20 years old) look up to you, admire you and had been touched by your music. I really hope that you and your carrer become even more succesfull by the day.
THANKS FOR EVERYTHING !!!

hey Joe!!!!!- so I have a couple rather odd questions, especially in the same question. First- I have introduced a lot of people to your music and videos and the most recent I showed was off of I just wanna rock dvds and the person said this is really cool and would be fun to watched stoned. It got me wondering what your thoughts were on marijuana. I ask because so many artist smoke and are for it and others, not so much. This idea oddly enough led me to my next question, what are your religious thougths and beliefs.

Regarding Farmer's Mill: we've already shipped a unit to Nashville upon Third Man Records request. First ever in the USA! We will be featuring further info as soon as we get any feedback. Stay tuned and hope Joe finds his way to reach us. We are really inspired by Joe's words from the other interview - that's what brought us here;) Ok, no more off-topic but I wanted to say this again: Thanks Joe Satriani!

I remember his post regarding pot. That is exactly what he said. And I also remember one T2J'er being so offended by that, he/she was never going to buy or listen to his music ever again. I was thinking to myself ... geez chill out and go smoke a joint or something .. lol.

Hey Joe, I'm sure the Brazilian guitarist Frank Solari would form very well with you in the G3. It costs nothing to listen to the sound of it. He is quite eclectic, strong voices, and a bond bending creativity composition mouthwatering. It costs nothing to check it out the sound of it, especially the songs Life Style and Next Dream, among others. Here's the links:

G'day guys,
Well I gather the Aus/NZ part of your tour is over?
if it is i just want to say thanks Joe and G3 gang for coming down under, and to places most artists dont get too, ie canberra ,
I would also love to know do you ever get time off?
to go spend time with your family? I hope so, even just for a few weeks,
any way joe, I just want to say thanks again for coming,
oh I'll look out for your next solo visit...
oh as far as pot goes, i did a lot as a kid , but i wasn't much into alcohol, and i think Blue_Moon said it right , booze causes so much more trouble than its worth..but i still wouldn't want pot legalized

Al, yer worldly wisdom never ceases to amaze and amuse me.
Dave, thanks. I remember the strangest stuff about Joe. Grizz, a corn snake, a jam with a hole in the middle, Sponge Bob boxers, and legalizing pot. A walking Satch encyclopedia I am not. LOL!
Anybody else have a James Brown/Sly & The Family Stone kinda day? I highly recommend it!
No pun intended by hiiiighly recommending it. lol!

Hey Joe! How are you? First time that I am interacting with you! We met a million years ago at Frankfurt musicmesse in March 1997! Hows the tour so far? I was interested to know if you'd be interested in performing in Dubai and who is your booking agent?
Thanks
Antonio
