Happy New Year Satchland...
Lela and I are going to our usual haunt again this year. To eat, drink and be merry..etc. And of course I get to plug in the TeleBlaster and show 'em all how it's done...yeeah ! Bringing the video cam this year..so maybe I'll get some footage to show everyone. Peace out..McD.

just saw a minute ago that the whole Van Morrison baby thing was a computer hacker...who dreamt that gem up..?? two stoned guys and one says.."Hey dude"..."lets hack into Van Morrison's site"...lol you would think folks would have better things to waste time on...?? i mean c'mon man...lol

Al - I couldn't get a pic of the blue moon - the heat wave broke in a spectacular almighty thunderstorm last night and it's still raining today, so we never saw the moon unfortunately. I like your pic though.

2009. What a year.
This year found my life shaken from its roots, getting torn apart from the 2 persons I loved more than anything else in the world.
Struggling to restart my life in an uncertain economic climate, not really sure whether the job would still be there at week's end.
And to top it off, living in the most dangerous city in the world. Over 2600 murders don't lie.
But now that it's over, what do I have?? I am here in my new old home, blasting Pink Floyd and Norah Jones and loving it. My son still follows me every chance we get, sleepovers and shopping trips to El Paso and the like. I still have my job and it looks busier than ever. I have all of my friends and family sharing their happiness with me, and I have that special friend still by my side, reminding me that there is indeed a silver lining to every black cloud.
So yeah, 2009...what a year! Best wishes to everyone here for 2010, thanks for being here, love ya all!!!

About an hour till the New Year begins here and I had to watch "Made Of Tears" one last time for 2009 . Having a quiet New Years celebration , hubby not feeling well and already asleep. That's okay, I like the quiet I am feeling kinda reflective on the past decade, and looking forward to the next.Just listening to my favorite music and feeling a quiet peacefulness.
