Chris Martin was always a douche though, now he's just a bigger one

I still think the song similarities were coincidental fyi

Today i have mostly being playing a song for George, new strings on the acoustic and im good to go, what an awfull awfull acoustic guitar its like it prefares you not to play it, i have enough electrics, a nice playable warm acoustic would be on my cards next guitarwise, but should be a while before i get one i think, 1 or 2 pedals i'd like to get in the near future, a maxon chorus and a BB+ preamp... i need a new wah above all though, my one crapped out after 6 years of use, a new budda wah would suffice for my birthday this year incase anyone listening

back to the sympathy rants now

Dazzler - It was quite funny earlier, five of us took a few hours to dig out our little cul de sac but when we got to the main street which leads to the main road no fecker had bothered so we still couldn't get out without risking slipping and sliding all over the place. Early beer time I tells ya!

Edit

Had me ipod on and listened to LISF while I dug.

Thanks for the kind words and sympathies . :-) Last time we saw him was at a nieces wedding......and thats how I picture him....... dancing to AC DCwith a big smile on his face.

Yes nice to see the blue ...wish it could have been under better conditions. I think it says alot about Joe's character to reach out to another human being that is hurting..while he himself is dealing with the grief of his moms loss.

Our snow is almost gone........its raining instead.

Hey Joe, Just wondering what you thought about active pickups. I'm thinking of upgrading a strat I have to an EMG 81 in the bridge position and EMG-S's in the middle and neck position; what do you think?

I play mostly hard rock and classic metal.

Any input would be appreciated. I'm sure other members of your forum would be interested to know your take on active pickups also.

Thanks,

Curt

Good afternoon, Mr. Satriani. I have a very interesting, possibly assinine question. Hon, when I was 17yrs old(23yrs ago) my ex-husband introduced me to you and your gift of BEING the guitar (and he would even play his guitar for me at bedtime). I even watch your dvd concerts with my 20yr old son. My son asked me one day, when he was 16 for me to suggest some good guitarist so he could expand his knowledge. My 3 choices were Joe Satriani, Jimi Hendrix and: being the Texas girl that I am, Stevie Ray Vaughn. Of course, he feel in total admiration of you! Here is where the question comes in, didn't you ever record some tracs acoustically. I know I am old and have slept just a few times since I was 17, but I could swear my ex-husband introduced me to you playing an acoustic guitar on the recording. Please tell me yes you did and what the name of that album is. I am going crazy thinking that I am going crazy! From someone who thinks that you are extremely gifted. Thank You!!!!

Shakira may have a nice booty but she just can't cook a decent breakfast. Even if she has a JS 1200 and likes listening to Chickenfoot.
