Burly, how's yer daughter coming along?

It's -6c here, with a high of -4. Sounds so dramatic in Celsius. lol! I'm not complaining though. Iowa has done froze over ffs! -13F which is -25C. Hoo-lee shit man! Keep the critters in the barn! Funny thing is, they have "wind chill advisory!" in big red letters. lmao! Anybody expecting not to freeze their hooters off under temps like that is coo-coo. I don't need a red letter advisory to tell me it's cold out. lol! If it's already -25c, then wtf diff is a -33 wind chill gonna make at that point?

Let's dance!

An Australian love poem ....

Of course i love ya darling you're a bloody top notch bird

And when i say youre gorgeous i mean every single word

So ya bum is on the big side i don't mind a bit of flab

It means that when i'm ready there's somethin there to grab

So your belly isn't flat no more i tell ya, i don't care

So long as when i cuddle ya i can get my arms round there

No sheila who is your age has nice round perky breasts

They just gave into gravity but i know ya did ya best

I'm tellin ya the truth now i never tell ya lies

I think its very sexy that you've got dimples on ya thighs

I swear on me nanna's grave now the moment that we met

I thought u was as good as i was ever gonna get

No matter wot u look like i'll always love ya dear

Now shut up while the footy's on and get me another beer!

An 80-year-old man with a Joe Satriani tour shirt went to his doctor for his annual checkup. The doctor stopped playing his js1200 and asked him how he's feeling. The 80-year-old says, "I've never felt better. I have an 18-year-old bride who is pregnant with my child. What do you think about that?"

The doctor considers his question for a minute and says, "I have a friend who is an avid hunter and never misses a season. One day when he was going out in a bit of a hurry, he accidentally picked up his umbrella rather than his gun. When he got to the creek, he saw a prime beaver sitting beside the stream of water. He raised his umbrella and went, "Bang, bang", and the beaver fell over dead. What do you think of that?"

The 80-year-old said, "I'd say somebody else shot that beaver."

The doctor replied, "My point exactly."

slans, so true... I meant I lived in Michigan for three years and during winter it got as low as -30F (-35C) and it was very freaking cold... In California, there are no seasons, just summer...

At least in my hometown it rains a lot, but the weather is always 80ish no matter what

Cappy-Thanx for sharing the "poetry" and humor ....definitely made me laugh and I've already retold the joke twice .....LOL.

PIP-Where ever did you get that upload of Joe? Its awesome, I like the contrast of the black clothes with the guitar...made the guitar really stand out. Joe was stylin fer sure.....

Yesterday we traveled thru the Columbia Gorge in torrents of rain and wind which turned to torrents of rain and freezing rain back to torrents of rain and wind....and so on. It was nasty.

Yngwie looks as though he would benifit from going on one of those 5 day fasts that Steve Vai's been on.......Athough maybe he's gotten in a little better shape since that G3. Speaking of which a 5 day fast takes alot of dicipline plus Steves already very slim....hope he does not do those fasts too often...........
