Joe - Oooh, that sounds like a good gig. I'm not sure I'll be able to make the drive up for it, but we'll see.

scubadaz - Haha...it's all in fun. It's entertaining to combine different eras in my head, is all...

What a great gift to a friend Joe! My stepdad didn't have insurance when he was diagnosed with colon/rectal cancer either. What a friggin mess that was! They finally got him some sort of medicaid insurance, but he had stage 4 cancer by then because he couldn't afford all the dr visits & testing. He's doing well now - almost 2 years out I think? It's a mad world!

I hope all you T2J'ers who can get there will go!

Al, that afro has gone gray in one years time.

Just got done watching Satriani Live and all the extra bits on DVD #1. I do miss solo Joe, but that's why we have it on film :-) I think that version of AWM,AWY is the best ever! It's so emotional and uplifting and full of hope - like no matter what cards yer dealt you'll be okay. It's almost hard to describe really. Anyways, the cartoon Super Colossal vid should be shown in IMAX theaters worldwide before every movie. Concert level Mabel clutch yer pearls loud too!

Wait...what was that line? Jostle yer fossil - It's Super Colossal!!

Great way to spend a Friday night.

Peace Lily - You are not the first one to notice those pants. I've wanted a pair of those pants for like two years since I first saw them (prolifically) during the Strange Beautiful Music tour photos and media. I so totally wanted a pair I went searching online to find them...never found a single lead...

Joe - Where did you get those pants? Please leave just a ten word sentence if nothing else? (ha ha)

I really only wanted them to bug my friends cuz they all hated them...so I wanted to show up at a party wearing them and mess with everybody...but some genius pranks must wait I guess.

Joe's "magic" pants remind me of some a mate used to wear - a lot! He was heavily into mountaineering so assumed they were part of the essential kit

Didn't DLR used to wear similar? lol

Hello!

Satch: I have heard from a friend that you are going to play in Denmark in late 2010?
That made me think that you probably have planned a 2010 Europe tour, since you are playing in Denmark. Is that right?

I really hope it is :D
I really enjoyed the concert in Amager Bio in 2008. AMAZING CONCERT. Since the concert, I have so seriously regret that I didn't buy a meet n' greet ticket. Please come back again or confirm that you are coming to Denmark. I am really begging you. Sorry :P.
I do really miss the feeling of hearing you live
You are such an inspiring guitarists. And im a really big fan!

I really cant wait to se you again!

Im sorry to hear about specific people's familys and friends who are suffering atm - my thoughts go out to all of you and i hope everyone recovers and is happy soon.

My main point in this post is to see what people think of the new JS2400 guitar! I friggin love the look of it!! It will be wicked to see what kind of new inspiration Joe can get from it :)

DoThe Stu, Austin--You have what it takes to drive up to San Francisco--energy, youth, energy and plenty of stamina that you have proved many times before. YES YOU CAN do whatever you set your mind to do. Come on man, please buy tickets and bring Alan McKenna out of the cold of Eire if that's possible!;-)

Castle49--I would enjoy meeting you at the benefit concert at Slims. The tickets are reasonable....only $35 each (not including tax and your choice of will call or printing out on your printer--$2 extra.

Why not? Seeing Joe play with his bandmates, Stu and Jeff is soooo worth it.

JOE, Michelle and Austin--Don't know who Nicholas DelDrago is. Would appreciate any info on his background. Thanx.

GoldenGirl2 ;-D

Hey joe, no pun intended. I hope you come back to New Orleans for another show in the future. I saw you with Eric at the House of Blues in 2006 and it was an outstanding show. My condolences on the lost of your mother. I understand, I lost my mother 10 years ago (cancer). Again, I hope to see you in New Orleans for another show. Lavas
