Funny thing is, how many millions of people are screaming for a cure for cancer? How many are screaming for more war or millions to play feckin ball for a few months of the year? It's not just the gov't that's effed. It's across the board.

Alan..hope your moms ok
Scuba...Rock music is pretty much about the guitar but some singers have a composers mind and do like to direct..(makes guitarist job much easier)..but its the musical ideas that are the guitarists responsibility...singers usually feed off of guitar riffs..i feed off of drum beats but lyrics and bass parts really do nothing for me as an influence...thats why ive always said that a great drummer makes the band...everyone else adds to it..yes there are exceptions

Coffee man - Thanks for the linkys, do you do any Bonamassa stuff with the Max Cady Band?
Dazzler - Mebbe it's an exception that proves the 'rule' but in the best known band ever, the 'guitarist' didn't have a massive say. McCartney and Lennon wrote most of the songs and decided the musical direction, the image was largely down to Macca. Which leaves Harrison a much underrated guitarist IMO.

Cappy...... No prob. You're gonna love Bonamassa. Well, I'm no longer with Max Cady and yes we covered Stone Cold Hearted with them. Dave (bassist) and I are relaunching a spin off band from The Blues Mavericks called Midnight Mavericks. Unfortunately to play out and in clubs you have to play what the peeps want to hear. So we're combining our Classic Hard, Southern and Blues Rock into one band that'll be club friendly but not sell out to playing garbage just to play. If it was up to me I'd play Satriani, Bonamassa, Gary Moore etc. but again no one wants to hear that stuff in the clubs. It's a hard position to be in. Plus, clubs don't want original music cuz' it's all about the Benjamin's and how many peeps you can bring in. .... a sad reality. Check out the 'Freebird" solo vid..... I thought that came out pretty good. Take Care.....

scubz, you could see it, feel it, and if you prolly listened real good you could prolly hear it grow, and it was almost the size of somebody's head, and you DISMISSED it?? Dude, that's some serious denial.
There are a million triggers that make any given cell go ape shit and turn into disease. The problem is wtf do you do with it once it does. How do you make it stop multiplying. How do you make it not kill you. How do you make it not take body parts with it as it's removed? Everything causes cancer. What makes it stop?

Coffee man - I checked it out earlier, please don't get me wrong but I didn't realise you were that good. I can see how confliction arises but life is all about compromise, give and take, you obviously like to get out there and perform so you gotta let them think you're gonna do what they want and sneak a bit of what YOU wanna do into the mix. Best o luck my friend.

I said yes, I know, which is why I have on a different channel. lol! We talked for an hour, so she missed it anyways. Good thing The Biggest Loser is on for 2 hours. lol! At least I got to see the 2nd half :-)
Got a long day in Hershey tomorrow. I should be in bed already. It would help if I was tired. I call it McSyndrome. I hate going to bed early and getting up early.

Man, I just love listening music with headphones. I was listening to The Extremist earlier tonight. I just love to hear all the layering and all the different things happening behind the music. That's the stuff you never hear (noticabley anyway) in your speakers. It just fits so well to make the track whole.
