Peas Lily, we all have those days. Every now and then we actually put ourselves before others and have to "feel" what's going on instead of fussing over everyone else. You can't forget about you, even though others might have a harder struggle. I say have a bit of time to feel it, get through it, let it out, then move on. Hugs to ya.
Skippy, HA! Joey one. lmao! That's funny. How many Joey's are there?
T, noooo, I'm not an A.I. watcher. Not even a little bit. Found it on youtube while I was looking for God know what? lol! Paula & Simon are more than I can handle.

Dream 3- watched your link this morning . What a little trooper! He played his little heart out . the look on his face when Ellen gave him the guitar was like he was totally awestruck. I hope he keeps that joyful love of playing and does not burn out .
Cheese- We definitely don't get Corvallis amounts of rainfall.... it is not that green here. Winter is the season with the most precip. ,seems little more than usual.
Skippy- Happy belated B-day to yer lil Joey one. My yougest turned 18 last friday... but he still has 1 more year of High School so he won't be" flying the coop" too soon. lol
Hope your guitar playing is coming along good for you.
Glitzman- Good luck with your running.
Well, gonna go to Grooveshark and put on some JS .....
i'm having withdrawls. lol.

Good day all,
Finally caught up on like 15 pages after the holidays, thought I'd add my two cents to the Bonamassa discussion... The Royal Albert Hall DVD was good, and one of his greatest achievements he said, but if you are looking for a DVD, I have A New Day Yesterday Live as well as Rockpalast and RAH and I can't watch anything except the ANDY Live DVD. It was recorded in a small club in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, back in 2001 before he got as big and famous as he is on the RAH DVD. Also, he plays Fender through most of the ANDY Live and Rockpalast DVD's, and has now switched over to Gibson, and IMO he had a much better sound when he played a Fender. As a bonus, on ANDY Live, he plays a SWEET cover of Are You Experienced?!! I think Jimi would be proud. When the older DVD's were filmed, he had what a lot of people felt were a better rhythm section than what he has now. And finally, I've read a few complaints on the editing of the Rockpalast DVD. You know, the 3 seconds and switch, have a seizure trick. I haven't watched much of it, so check youtube for clips of whichever DVD you're thinking of buying before you do just to make sure you won't end up at the ER.
Now if it is just a CD you be looking for, I would recommend Live from Nowhere in Particular. Kind of a greatest hits of live stuff. Of course, if you have money to spare, I would say get A New Day Yesterday Live on DVD (CD is a little different from DVD set list) AND Live from Nowhere in Particular. You won't be disappointed.
Ian

PL, Glitzy, M - thnx for the birthday messages for Joey One. I have two joeys :0).
Peace - thanks for that NASA link - there is a really fab slide show to the right of the page - I could look at those pics all day it's just too wonderful to contemplate the stuff out there.
Funny, I don't think I could bungy jump or skydive (well maybe tandem) but I would definitely go on the Virgin Galactic spaceship to the edge of outer space. Slight problem of $200,000.........

My boyfriend in high school used to quote Zappa. I grew tired of "in your face" nasty rather quickly. More shock value than wit. I grew a lifelong aversion to his fans and unfortunately him.

I wonder if Al escorts the spiders in his bedroom out the front door so nicely?
I swear to Christ if I ever saw something like that in my house there would prolly be a for sale sign on my lawn the next day! lol!
Castle, I was to young to let it bother me. My sis had a wild cast of characters she hung around with. She'd throw parties at night when my mom & dad would be out. I learned a lot in those days. lol! None of it good, but I was ahead of the game when we learnt about drugs in school. lol!
