Music
Trying to make a list of songs musicians (prefered to bands) wrote for their wife / girlfriend / muze / significant other. So not just bands with a song with a girls name.
Examples: Joe Satriani - Rubina
Tony MacAlpine - Shizuka
Stevie Ray Vaughn - Lenny
Andy Timmons - Lydia
Stop whining and extend the list. Thank you.

Something fun to try

The next time you're bored and have nothing better to do, get out your cell phone, don't turn it on, but speak into it like the guy in this video.

Guitarvibes - I have a few that might fit, if it's OK that the song title isn't the woman's name. I can't tell what you were going for, from your list. And two of these three aren't happy songs, but you didn't specify that either.

- Aerosmith - What It Takes (written about Steven Tyler's ex-wife Cyrinda Foxe, and mother of his daughter Mia)

- Dave Matthews - I'll Back You Up (love song written about an early girlfriend)

- Dave Matthews Band - Halloween ("hate" song written about the same girl, after she rejected three of his marriage proposals)

...Austin...

Unless someone beats me to the punch from the earlier shows, I'll try to pop back online on Sunday and post the first reviews from Saturday's Experience Hendrix gig in Las Vegas. I've been to quite a few Satriani/G3 shows, but this is my first time I've been able to catch Experience Hendrix. I'm psyched because I thoroughly enjoyed the Hendrix tunes that were played during the last G3 group encore, can't wait to see/hear what this group brings forth.

Pip- never like risking major surgery to an axe that really is great besides the tremolo issues i had...really i would like the 2400..may look to trade in the 1200 as i only payed $850..lol...she still mint as i switch around alot.

i was thinking about the post Joe mentions changing necks...what kinda guitarist changes necks?....one who plays so much hes actually wearing out the frets...he has a big bag of necks and maybe has them refretted all at once...surely they should be a perfect match with a little truss rod adjustment...nothings sweeter then fresh frets..:)..especially how low his action must be....or he would be overwhelmed in guitars im sure....now a contest that gives away one of joes worn out axes would surely top em all!

Well, I'm sittin' here callin' from Tennessee, And I've been jammin' with my buddies like I ought to be. And it feels real good bein' on my own, And I don't mind leaving you dry as bone.

I just watched "Memories" live at the Montreux Jazz Festival. It was awesome!!! Joe kinda reminds of Freddie Mercury in this video though. Especially that outfit. It's cool yet, pretty funny.

Joseph: Have you ever seen an alien or an UFO? If not, why are you so obsessed - or do you just like drawing/"writing songs" about them - with aliens?

By the way, I am really obsessed with aliens and UFOs. Don't know why. Do you believe that the US Government is hiding secret information about Extraterrestrials and UFO's?
I'm in the chat waiting for people to join!
Have a great day!
