Joseph: I really don't hope this next question is to personal or to much. I apologize if it is. But Why/Who did you write the song "Saying goodbye" for/to?

Hey Joe. Just listened to "You Saved My Life" for the first time. It was so good I'm listening to it as I write this comment. It brings a tear to my eye and a smile to my face at the same time. It's amazing. I just don't know how you do it Joe. You put your entire heart and soul into your music for everybody else to hear. You make this world a better, happier place.

Craigy101 thanks for helping me out with the scales!!! You realy helped me understanding the theoretical basics. Jimbojim You aren't being left behind. Thank you for helping me also. The only thing that made my explanation kinda blurry, is that 1; I'm not a fast typer And 2; I realy had to search for things you asked of me, and ended up muti tasking, wich i still have to learn. I have to thank you for your patience. You realy helped me out. GoldenGirl, it has been a pleasure meeting you !! I hope you will be on the chat more often. It was my firs time on the chat too. Thanks to; Cheese Pip Tiki Scub JustJoan JimboJim Railton Wooleyman Craigy and Goldengirl , for having a great time...!!! Thank you Joe, for making this happen.

P.s. Joe, Is the Hendix Experience going to be recorded somehow so it can be bought? It drives me nuts not to be part of the crowd.

Dream 3 - Wish that UFC wasn't just for pay per view. Sooo expensive. Sheesh.

Joe - My family has helped shape me into the man I am today. When I was 20 and my first daughter was born, my life was really headed in the wrong direction. Just her birth made me take a very different look at myself and I have been a different man since. Did life in the rock scene start taking you in a direction that was not going to be good for you and or your familiy?

Joe: Great to see the blue. Just saw your post about your song, "You Saved My Life." That is nice of you to do that for Rubina & ZZ. Hope you all are doing well.

Skippy: Here you go mate (Read below).

Okay, here's my result from the 5K run. I had a time of 18 minutes & 42 seconds, which is a 6 minute and 2 second mile per pace. I was 2nd in my Age Division, and I was 12th overall out of 255 participants. Overall, I was completely satisfied.

Slanshroom: Congrats on the job Roy!

DTS & Axe: Glad you guys had fun seeing EC & JB

Found out I got Wednesday off from work, which is my 25th birthday. Awesome, maybe I'll celebrate my birthday with all of you in the chatroom or on the T2J Forum.

Deuces y'all.

Grant

Thanks Skippy.

Birthday is not until Wednesday, don't know what I'll be doing. Maybe I'll go for a long run and then meet up with my running group afterwards. Even though I'm not Catholic, I gave up any alcoholic drinks, ice cream, and energy drinks for Lent (in respect). Right now I'm drinking a club & tonic (club soda + tonic).

Nice writing by Jennifer Young from TLB in her Tour Diary articles:

Fear Not

It’s late Wednesday night, we just landed in San Jose, CA after our two week east coast tour leg with UFO and we’re driving home. A three hour drive after an all day flight really bites. But then again the $600 fare difference for flying out of San Luis Obispo also bites.

As we race through the dark, the jet lag setting in, I feel like I’ll be turning into a pumpkin any minute. We’re all weary and I’m overwhelmingly tired of lunchmeat sandwiches and iceburg lettuce.

I’m very proud of our little band. We always work hard, play hard, and at the end of it all, sleep hard. But the last two weeks we’ve pushed our selves to new levels of “hard”.

If it can be summed up at all, it would be the moment I was standing on the B.B. King stage, downtown Manhattan on 42nd street, electrified by the adrenaline coursing through my veins after having navigated through perhaps the worst driving city in the world, Vinnie Moore behind me peeking from the backstage curtains, then looking over and seeing Travis wailing away on a perfectly choreographed version of Burn Season. I thought several things: “What the hell am I doing here?” “This is tough.” “This is awesome.” “No Fear.”

Fear is such a normal part of our society that we don’t even realize the extent that it is pushed on us. Every thing we see or hear is laced with a form of fear, from food labels to swine flu to terrorists. It is a warm blanket that keeps the herd controlled, manageable and peacefully grazing on their soylent green. A man scared for his life will trust his instincts and live, a society scared will shrivel and die.

Fear not your life. Crawl out from under that warm blanket and go do something uncomfortable, something that'll make you sweat a little.

“….seek the achievement of happiness….exist for the sake of earning rewards. Threats will not make us function; fear is not our incentive. It is not death that we wish to avoid, but life that we wish to live.”

Guess you had to be there....
