Peace Lily, big congrats to your son, what a wonderful accomplishment, bet yer all flyin high today!! WOO WOO!!!

Congrats to Canada, I was on the road so didn't get to see the game but hear it was a good one, and wherever I did go, people were talking about it while working, keeping each other updated. Sounds like it was very exciting!

Glitz, I've only been to one in-store appearance so far for Joe, and they requested you only ask him to sign one thing per person. He had so many people to see, and Joe is the kind of person who will stay till EVERYONE gets their chance, if his schedule will permit. He's doing these in-stores at the same time as the Hendrix tour, so his time will likely be kinda limited. Elpp had good advice to divide stuff up...I know Joe will do all he can for ya cuz he's just that kind of guy! :) Enjoy!!

Pip, Chris sez thanks....he's back home again after a good weekend together. Couldn't bring his guitar on the bus so you can imagine how happy he is to be back with his "babies", lol!!

Mckenna, you find the wierdest things but that doesn't surprise me in the least :)

I think Joe would be great for any of the closing ceremonies for the olympics. Joe would be the perfect one to end the show in a bang.

Who's with me?

Good Morning Satchland....... How goes it? Spring is around the corner. Winter is not a prob for me in Chi Town but it's a great feeling knowing Spring is comin' soon.

Glitz Man...... Happy belated B - Day. Hope you had a good one.

Hendrix tour around the corner. This is going to be a great show. Joe's ben' playing The Chicago Theater the last few times through. I'm glad to see Joe getting away from the HOB. I never cared much for Chicago's HOB. The peeps there are assholes and treated you like shit. Sorry for the negativity. I'm psyched for the Hendrix show.

This will jump start your day. Check out this little future rocked covering Boots On This is great stuff. My sides are hurtin' from laughing.

Band update: A new band is born and we're calling it "Speed Of Sound" website,pics....etc comin' in a month or so. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for all the support over the years. You peeps on T2J are great. Thank you.

Have A Great Day Everyone !!!!!

Blue Moon--I see what you mean about "He Drinks Tequila" I kinda dug it. I don't know the technical term for it but there was alot of echo in the vocals and other touch ups. Even I could sound good. The mom kinda bugged me, the daughter I liked. Like you said I need to watch it again. lol

In case you missed it on '60 Minutes', this is what Andy Rooney thinks about women over 40:

As I grow in age, I value women over 40 most of all. Here are just a few reasons why:

A woman over 40 will never wake you in the middle of the night and ask, 'What are you thinking?' She doesn't care what you think. If a woman over 40 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She does something she wants to do, and it's usually more interesting. Women over 40 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you if they think they can get away with it. Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved. They know what it's like to be unappreciated. Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 40. Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 40 is far sexier than her younger counterpart. Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off you are a jerk if you are acting like one. You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her. Yes, we praise women over 40 for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed, hot woman over 40, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year old waitress. Ladies, I apologize.

For all those men who say, 'Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?', here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage!

Andy Rooney is a really smart guy!

Thanks anibur - that was a good one! lol!

hybes..he has singlehandedly stalled all extended unemployment benefits for people who have used up their 26 weeks. Up where I live that is utterly devastating. Mine are about to run out. And I have no problem with getting a job..if there were any.

And somehow I just knew she would'nt get through her post without slinging some dogshit...lol.

Gotta have Joe- So sorry to hear about your Mom..i will add her to my reg prayers.

Joe-Looking forward to the in-store appearances...Sam Ash is a much better store than GC...mainly because you see the same employees year after year..but sorry..the js-20th is your guitar..and only yours...lol..though the lesson is tempting.....but awesome for those who can afford you and your guitar....do all the js's have the original edge now?..except js100, of course..the acoustic and 24 fretter are enough temptations for the year..thanks

but.....if it's fret wear, don't u just change out the frets? Although I hear that's a helluva job to have to do....

Then again can't imagine changing an entire neck cuz of the truss-rod adjustments, etc but what the heck do I know!

First Experience Hendrix show in 2 more days, woo hoo!! Castle, are you going?

Hey Pip, thats great ..though its made my put the 1200 on a rack and thinking of selling it...my white 1000 with the edge is so great...the new edges are wimpy and some things Joe does, you cant even do because of it. Now the Original Edges are back..i dont think you can make em better....i always like the lockable bridge posts but if i remember correctly..theyve removed them?...i cant wait to try the acoustic...ive heard it plays awesome (both models)...im thinking "An ElectricGuitarists' Acoustic"

McDave - I gotcha. Ya, it's really difficult out there right now. And bennies are dropping off fast. We are a long ways from climbing out the hole this country is in. Hope things look up for you soon. If you work in manufacturing however, it's just going to get tougher. More manufacturing jobs are getting shipped overseas than we can shake a stick at.....and manufacturing is what makes this country money. Without it, we have very little to offer the rest of the world and very little income we can generate to get out of this mess we are in.

I know we do a lot of great things for countries that have been hit hard with tragedy, but I can't help but think everyday that we sometimes do too much for everyone else. I drive under 2 bridges on my way to work everyday where there is a rather large population of homeless people and it's disturbing.
