"Potato Head" always brings me back to the late 80's. When life was entirely less complicated. The whole album takes me there..good times.

TMPHGT is one of my favorite songs too, but it's one I'm a bit burnt out on hearing live now (even though I haven't heard it as often as some of Joe's other songs). The song has a kind of special feeling behind it, for me...when I went to my first Satch gig, the opening night of the EOC tour, it was one of three songs in the setlist that I didn't recognize at all (One Big Rush and Down, Down, Down were the others...I didn't have FIABD or JS95). So it was fun to hear something unknown.

castle49 - Kenny Wayne Shepherd is the guitarist. The singer from his band was with him on the 2008 EH tour and is probably out with him again...his name is Noah Hunt, and I think he has an excellent voice.

You need to catch an Eric Johnson solo show ASAP. :-)

Thanks for pops Happy Birthday wishes peeps. I told him.. he said "interwhat? I've got that on my phone".... nuff said

Cheese - "Pip....yer such a pip, LOL!!!".... go on T, ya got me. What I do? I confused (not difficult I know)

Mum & pops are cool, the only concert they go to is..... yep, you got it!

Michelle - have you been on datemydad.com again? How on earth did you find his photo lmao. No, no combovers allowed. He's no party pooper, just old... I don't know how old however. Mum won't even tell me. Funny

Glitzman - yep, wot Cheese said.. no wot Skip said... no, wot Do The Stu said... well, you get the idea. I don't imagine Joe will have a lot of time per person, he has to be shared lol He's super nice, you'll be fine. If you have a favourite CD(song) I'd take that as it's a natural talking point. Email me if you need to

Roo - "she" (?) sounds awesome, and in amazing condition. Well found! I have one fixed bridge guitar so I'm guessing it goes like this: strum chord, leave guitar, go make cup of tea, read paper, answer emails, back to guitar, chord is still ringing, go walk the dog, go do weekly shop, back to guitar, chord now dying off?

You should be able to measure it or at least line of sight the frets with some of your others to check their 6105's?

Cool on the app, and glad the redundancy is actually a vacation : )

Rialton - nice read mate

Axe - why would the Ibby logo be airbrushed off given DiMarzio's & Ibby's tend to go together. Just seems a little odd. Any ideas?

Guitarman77897 - I'm afraid it is what Jamie said, it's the 20th, not the 20s but if you made a mistake and are getting the 20th then congrats on that alone! But equally congrats if you're getting a 20s and for graduating

Ozzy Fudd - hi mate, nice of you to drop in. How's things?

Castle49 - nice review, thanks. Sounds awesome

Do The Stu - is it just the one show of EH that you'll be catching? There is still a (very outside now) chance I will be on my way over in which case I will check with you for a ticket. But I can't imagine hearing back from who I need to and it all being settled in time now, but that's ok

... surely not another typo!?

I wouldn't think he made The Mystical Potato Head Groove Thing in reference to himself because he made it in 1989. He still had a lot of hair then. (No offense, Joe.)

It used to be my favorite song, but then was surpassed by Starry Night

Guitarman77897: Sorry you got your hopes up too quickly.

Wow, now I have about 70 friends on Facebook in a day; maybe more to follow. Anybody want to be my friend on Facebook, let me know & I'll put you in as my friend.

TMPHGT is also one of my favorites. Every song of Joe is considered my favorite. I hate to choose one; gotta love them all.

Busy weekend here. We're sold out over the weekend, plus we have the Indiana Girls Basketball Finals playing here in Fort Wayne on Saturday. Normally it's played in Indianapolis, but this time it's here in the "Summit City." Gotta run, have work soon.

Deuces peeps.

Grant

Guys, anyone had a chance to try the JSA5 or JSA10 yet? How will they differ in performance? Nicer sound from the higher end model presumably?

Joe Satriani - can you throw some wisdom regarding your acoustic series please? Hope you're having a blast with EH & the Living Colour boys & everyone

Can't wait and only seven weeks to go!

Been a while since my last post, since then managed to add a very minty JS100 in white from at least ten yeas ago, sits well with the JS10th and Black Dog - love these guitars - soo cool.

Some awesome behind the scenes footage of Chickenfoot on Mad Anthony TV......wow

Pip-..Ha good Question....Ibanez and Dimarzio have been a team for years...i will assume that an external graphic designer was afraid of a copyright issue...No permission?..get the airbrush out...like so many ads in Guitar world..better safe than sued..:)

Ive been thinking about the upgrade you mentioned...i will discuss it with my guitar tech this weekend...but if i get serious on the 2400, and having 14 axes, i will have to release one of them..lol

Js Acoustics..got pricing at $500 and $1000..but thats it..not in stores yet...would love to hear about the features that make it a JS

if anyone is going to be at NY store appearance, let me know cause theres something for u ill be bringing..:)

Cough... spits out usual midnight crap snack.... did somebody say 14 guitars?

Axe - ah, that makes sense about the airbrush out. Thanks! So, do you have pics of all 14 or can you list them? Presume not all JS? Going to release one or two into the wild huh lol

The locking posts mod plus double checking your knife edges aren't "squiffy" should see you right. The posts I know from experience, the knife edge effect I found out about today with my adopted Guitar tech

Do The Stu - oh sorry, I'll be no help then as won't know until start of next week. enjoy your show, detailed report please : ) Aspen.... C O O L! Er, literally I imagine

Cheese - oh har de har. You and your crystal ball. Nice one! They're due here in April. That's a mighty long time you know (because in UK music store speak that'll be November)

I hope this gets to Joe. I know this is a long shot but it's the only shot I have. I was wondering if you would be so kind Joe to consider signing a guitar I built to be auctioned off for charity. Before you ignore the postl at least take a moment to look at the signatures I already have. Premier Guitar Magazines CEO Peter Sprague has agreed to donate some space in his magazine to promote the auction. I hope I can add your signature to the list. I live in San Jose California and have built guitars for other celebrities. I know you're going to be in town and this would be the a good time if you decide to sign the guitar.

The auction will be for a guitar that I built that has been signed by a number of artists. You can see the guitar in the raw and the signatures on my web site at the link below. The money will be donated to the Lucille Packard foundation at Stamford university for children's cancer research. The auction will held in about 6 months while I try to get additional signatures. Which has been difficult to this point.

http://www.biscegliaguitars.com/The%20Jake.html

Here are just some of the signatures are some know guitarist: 1. Carlos Santana 2. Greg Kihn 3 Dave Meniketti and all of the Y&T band past and present. 4. Eric Martin 5. Laurance Juber These are just some of the signatures I have so far.

The Guitar was named after a little boy named Jake Dagnino a friend of my wife's little boy. He was 11 when he lost his battle to Leukemia. The proceeds will be donated to the Lucille Packard foundation in Jake's name, where he was treated. A brief story about what a wonderful little boy Jake was is here:

http://www.biscegliaguitars.com/Jakes%20Page.html

Please take a moment to read it. It was written by the father of one of Jake's little friends Katie who was going through the same treatment.

The guitar will become a permanent addition to my line of guitars. For each guitar sold one hundred dollars will be donated to the hospital.

Quickly, Jake was waiting for a bone marrow transplant for quite sometime. When they finally found a donor, Jake got his transplant just in time. Jake was doing well for about a month then something went terribly wrong and Jake died soon after.

I hope you will seriously consider my request and pass this request onto Joe. I will completely understand if you can not. I have spoken briefly to Greg Kihn, of the Greg Kihn Band, in San Jose, where he has his own weekday morning radio show, about giving me some air time. I'm almost certain this will happen.

Thanks for your time.

Sincerily, George Bisceglia

Randell, we have a nice recording setup in the basement. They were recording that session, but my son had the sample rate (whatever that is) off, and the computer shut down and lost it all. I think they're going to practice again this weekend, so my hubs will set it up to make sure they get something this time :-)
