HYBES: La Rue was not a last minute fill for Petrucci, as Austin points out he did Petrucci's first G3 in 01. Man that was an awesome tour.

Wanna see some pics from that tour? :)

CUBE: Petrucci is apparently working on a second solo release, would not surprise me at all to see him out with G3 again. So get ready to be bored some more!! jejeje. I totally disagree with you but respect your opinion.

Putting Summer Song on all live DVD's, now that's boring.

I found it when I googled Matt Bissonette. I clicked on the pic of Joe & Matt and there it was. Easy peasy! Never seen the site before. Wonder if the guy who made it ever hangs out here?

Austin, spotted a familiar name in the "fan guitars" section of that site.

Satriani a true guitar hero

JR, that's the same thing I thought about seeing Joe in this new band too....we first saw one of the road test shows, in San Francisco, and I kept saying over and over, "Look how MUCH Joe is smiling!!" :) His happy made me happy, lol!!

Slan, good luck on the job, I know you'll be absolutely stellar at it. Now as to yer VCR, take two aspirin, throw out the old one, buy a new one and stick it up....really HIGH :) We love lil John Lee!! lol! Ohhhhhhhhh the good times are JUST beginning!!

Live in Paris DVD. I know I haven't posted before and I really hate to make my first post a complaint. But, I have to. The live in Paris DVD was a visual headache!! I can see doing some visual things hear and there but, two hours is just to much!! Joe you don't have to do that stuff. Watching your talent, skill and overall love of playing guitar is awesome entertainment in my book!! The show was great sounding. You and your guitar were on fire!! I just wish I could have seen it better. I basically wore my sunglasses so I could watch it. I will love you and your music forever!!. Pleeaaase don't use that video crew again.

Peace Lily- thanks for that inerview! Great!

Nice Link Cheese..thanks

Nice Vid Austin..lol

Joe- Just saw the interview on the dvd..it was great...thanks for sharing such amazing insight to your career. The lady interviewing you deserves alot of credit. Ive been watching the rest of the video and reading many reviews and its clear to me...though the graphic fx can seem cool...especially to you ...Some art doesnt need to be enhanced..the art of just watching you play that guitar (and the band) is all you need to do...i think people who arent fans, or just dont understand the music may think that today you need to add enhancing graphics, but the only thing that comes to my mind, as ive heard from others, is to see a blue-ray video of you playing...thats what i will wait for so keep em comin! Gotta give it 4.5 stars of 5. Only because the quality of the fx wasnt tops, and it blocked the view of you playing at times♠

"..lots of oldies here." .. Emm? Huge difference on how old your life is, vs. how old you live your life... You can become old, while yer' young if not careful .. The body&mind never invented the clock.. :-)

I like playing with 'younger' players .. until they get tired that is ;-) Remember Kieth .. 'Happy to be here,..sh, Happy to be Anywhere'.. Lol!

Michelle- Cool find, I am suprised the site had escaped notice till now . I had not seen it before either.

Cheese- Awesome interview.....somehow it cheers me to know Joe has not played Guitar Hero........

JR- I like how you put that .......I will remember those words of wisdom.....some times I live a little "old", I think.

Sammy Hagar was on "Celebrity Ghost Stories" again tonight. I'll try not to go into too much detail this time, but he said that shortly after he joined VH their manager died of cancer. And after they spent some time mulling over who would replace him, he said that their deceased manager showed up at his bedside in the middle of the night (talk about giving someone a heart attack)...and he told him they should hire Michael Anthony's brother-in-law. Well, guess who was at their next rehersal just by chance? They hired him.

Well, he did say that it happened at the same time that he was hosting one of his famous birthday parties for himself down in Mexico.

I'd like to think that there are some people out there who would'nt go on TV and lie like that just for the money. Something went on that night, and I guess it only matters that he believes it. But hey, I know Sammy about as well as chinese math so..what the heck do I know? Kudos for educational television..lol.

YES, YES, YES! Shen & Zhao got gold! WOOHOO! What's even better is that China also got silver, Pang & Tong. Congrats also to the couple from Germany who got bronze.

Pretty neat there, don't you think Al?

Time to get some rest. Another day (of work), another dollar.

spinsnit: Thanks, it's one of the best spots I've had for a concert, ever. I took all of those pics seated.

Glitz: Thanks! Continued success on your races. My times keep going down, I'm now consistently doing 8-minute miles without feeling like my chest is gonna explode. Soccer is helping a lot also :)

Cube: Maybe u are :) just kidding. Frankly I wouldn't want Petrucci to write listenable songs, same as I wouldn't want Joe writing 25 minute prog-metal epics.

I thoroughly enjoy the fact that I can fake my way thru Satch songs and sound halfway decent, and when I need to hear something that's impossible for me to play, I go with the Petruccis and Michael Romeos (Symphony X) of the world.
