Awww MAN that gave me chills to see someone skating to JOE'S MUSIC in the Olympics!!! Totally awesome dude!!! Congratulations Joe :) The comments on that youtube video are good, and mostly about the music....Woo Woo!!
Jon, I know what yer saying about respect....it's just so hard sometimes to ignore the trolls that come on here just to be nasty. I was about to post a total "cuss-out" for what was said tonight, but I guess I'm glad I waited a bit after what you said. However, it doesn't excuse someone making such nasty comments and making fun of people's tragedies and losses. Guess we gotta try hard to ignore the crap and move along but geeeeez....it's DAMN hard sometimes.
Thanks for posting that link Jon, and the video of Joe on the Fallon show....lately, Joe is EVERYWHERE!!! Which is just how we LIKE IT!! lol!!
GO JOE!!!

While we are on the topic of girls, how bout them snowboarding beauties yesterday, all three medalists. And, when you watch womens speedskating and those thighs, what do you think about?????

Wow Joe, you made it to the Olympics! That's pretty cool! It would be killer if they asked Shaun White what he listens to during his routine and he said "Joe Satriani". lol! Love that guy. Hope he wins the gold! I think snowboarding is on tonight? Are you gonna watch it? It'll be late for me, but as long as he wins the gold by 11:00 it's all good. lol!

theres gotta be a snowboarder somewhere who listens to Joe...i couldnt think of a better source of energy! Though the song used for the skate has a small amount...if i had to pick the most energetic song by Joe..it would have to be Crushing Day...please share your choice for best snowboarding tune..dont say SWTA..lol

Absolutely something from EOC - Attack or Devil's Slide or Rasp. Jam, Ceremony, Psycho Monkey - oh hell, the whole CP cd! lol! Even Crowd Chant would get ya super pumped and keep a great beat. lol!
Aggghhh! If I had to pick one...Psycho Monkey ;-)

It's too bad that the "design your own Ibanez" guitar contest is only giving away a JS100. Why not award the much superior JS1200??? Somebody's cheaping out.
Also, I saw that post from Joe on FB about the Olympic skater from Canada (yes Joe, Canada is spelled with a capital C) who used "Out of the Sunrise" for his short program. I have to put in my two cents worth here. I'm all for musicians getting air-play royalties, but does that mean that we need to file a copyright lawsuit every time we hear Crowd Chant at a sporting event (and I've heard it lots)??? I think there needs to be some balance here.
Joe, I would hope that your FB status is because you are genuinely flattered and complimented that this kid chose to dance to your music and wish to post it. It's the highest honor a musician can receive.
Please don't tell me you are going to go after this kid, or the IOC, or team Canada for monies not paid. It would certainly damage this fan's opinion of you.
