Castle49--I guess I could go to Canada, but Mikesb, the Canadian Cube and JS1000JS1200 would warn their country I was coming and they would post guards at all the entries and they would catch me, turn me around and send me back to Cali :-( . Free medical care ain't free, no matter where you go......It could be single payer or some kind of co-op, but it would be paid up front and everyone would be covered so people wouldn't have to worry about what they would owe the hospital or doctor for certain procedures like MRI's, radiation treatments and medications. Right now many people (and a growing number) are priced out of medical care and can't afford medications that would help them function and be more productive individuals. Such is the sad case of the USA.

Cappy---Yeah, if I could afford airfare to the UK.

Uncle Slans---Steve and I are hoping for better times before we have to put our home up for sale.

Michelle--Hoping things are on the up and up for you and your mom.

Glitzman--Here's hoping you do well in your running and break your last record.

Blue_Moon Alan--I do cahir and I enjoy craicing a book every day. Please read me an Irish Fairy Tale before I go to bed tonight......It'll help me sleep well. Thanx. :-)

Just got back from seeing me lil' mum. She looked pretty good today. Best I've seen her in weeks actually. She was sitting on the edge of her bed eating when we got there. She had good color in her face, and was in a good mood. Doc says her kidneys are improving a smidge too. She still has a long way to go, and she's still very sick, but it was really good seeing her so chipper tonight. They even took the oxygen tube off her nose and she wasn't fighting to breathe. Bad thing is I'm getting a cold, so I had to keep my distance from her and not touch anything. I don't even know anyone with a cold, so I have no idea where I got it. Piss poor timing too.

Slan, Bit overdue, but lil' John Lee looks like a precious angel. Give him kisses for me. Thanks for the pic :-)

I'm really lovin' the Meatbats these days! Chad looks a lot like Kenny Aronoff, doesn't he?

Time for some tea.

Hey Satch fans!

I'm a huge Joe enthusiast myself and I have yet to see him play live, but I hope to catch him on the Hendrix tour when it rolls through San Fransisco.

I'm a bay area boy myself, and I've just released an LP of shred tunes that you guys might like, all my buddies say it's Satch worthy, I for one couldn't even stand in his aura, haha.

So check out the tunes and let me know what you think! [link url="http://www.myspace.com.stephenmichaelguitar"]myspace.com/stephenmichaelguitar[/link

Greetings fellow Satch fans!

I am the Director of the animated Chickenfoot video " Get it up!", and I just wanted to log in to thank all the fellow fans for the amazing feedback it's gotten. Thank you SO much! It was a labor of love and I had so much fun and complete creative freedom doing it.

With the risk of sounding cheezy, I have to say that inspiration can really drive you to accomplish even the most seemingly unreachable goals. When I drempt up this idea of doing an animated video, it was while listening to the CF album. The power of the record really struck a chord ( pardon the pun) within me, and I just went for it! The inspiration was so immense that I sat down immediatley and designed and storyboarded the entire idea!

To have the video go on to the heights it has, and to see it get all the attention it's getting is simply amazing. It turned out great! Pipeline Studios Inc., the studio that helped me bring my vision to life, deserves kudos for their amazing contributions of talent and technology. It would not have turned out the way it did without them.

Satch - I know you pop on here now and then, so I hope you read this post. I want to sincerely thank you for your kind words on the video. I just saw your quote on 'Noisecreep' website, and it was just amazing to read that! As a fellow guitar player for over 21 years, your music has always been a part of my life, and I am happy to have created something to give back.

So 'thank you!'

Maybe one day we'll cross paths as I have some official video concept artwork I'd like to present you...

Cheers,

Darin

As of yesterday, that IE or EI or whatever it was straightened itself out and the home page is back up! Thank you Jon Luini.....you must have been workin' behind the scenes to bring it back. Anyway, all the links, pictures and all are working again.

Michelle--I'm glad you got to see your mom and that she is in good spirits. I hope the doctors can help her heal so she can go home.

Peace Lily--Never give up! There is always the Lily and Olive branch and I just get off track sometimes. I just notice when things aren't workin' the way they're supposed to. You are a help and comfort to me on here. :-)

Blue_Moon--Are you writing some new music for an album?

Have a great day.

Hey all, new here!

I'm a Denverite and will be attending the Experience Hendrix show here in March. I'm wondering if Joe gives private lessons, and if so how I can see if his schedule allows for that during the Denver stop.

Anyone know what my next step might be?

Cheers all~

Darin--Welcome to T2J. I hope you do catch up with Joe and get to collaborate with him. He is a really nice guy and expresses an unfeigned love for all his fans. I can't say enough about what a generous, caring guy he is and I've met him just once.....what a special moment! BTW, what are your favorite Satch songs?

Joe

You are the master guitarist of all time. I have all of your music and all of your DVD's, been to all of your live show's etc., but why oh WHY is this newest DVD like an acid trip? I feel like I am watching a trippy cartoon of the "Joe Satriani band"! I want to feel like I am there! All of your previous DVD's are so crystal clear and make you feel like your part of the experience. This one is really unpleasant to watch. There are moments where its decent, but overall I am totally disappointed. I give you thumbs up for trying new things all the time though, that's what makes you the absolute best. Really looking forward to the Hendrix show in San Fran. in March and looking forward to a new "Satch album". No more Chicken Foot either please... :)

I like my Satriani RAW, no side orders of chicken feet or anything else...thanks!
