Joe's music at the Olympics was pretty awesome!

Michelle: I agree with the whole CP Album; it's too good.

Other songs for a snowboarder, or for a skiier or skater:

One Big Rush & Back to Shalla-Bal from FIABD

Flavor Crystal 7 from EOC (Thanks Al, I second that).

Thanks for your kind concern Peace Lily. You are always so nice!

I LOVE Joe, you know that. I'm just proud of my country too, and hope that no wrong was done by one of our athletes choosing to play Joe's Music. We love him here. It would be sad if it got ugly. I'm probably reading too much into things.

thanks for all your snowboarding song choices..i cant wait to make a playlist of them tonight. anyone ever actually try it?

Since there no financial gain from using Joes tune in the olympics, there would be no reason to sue....free advertising...he may have to pay the skater..lol.

The design contest says an Ibanez guitar ...asuming its a js-100....come on..why is it always a js-100...yes i have 3 of them...yes i never play them anymore...i upgraded as most big fans have to a js-1000 or js-1200....one of each...super Collosal, Chickenfoot. guitars were all 100's...being a custom and a contest i agree, not being a quality guitar takes alot of luster and interest out of it. Conan and Jimmy got beautiful js-1000's and really , arent the fans worth it. Vai surely thinks so with his contest..:)..even Steve is requiring 2 are made so he gets one...wouldnt you want a copy of the winning guitar Joe?1200!!!!!!!Call Ibanez and straighten them out! Have a great day!

Glitzman~ Minimoog- Have a good time in chatting..thanks for the invite but I got to get busy packing stuff for my son, he's got District Wrestling Meet to determine if he gets to wrestle at state this year for the Oregon 2A Schools....... *BragAlert* He is currently ranked at number #1...... YAY!!!

Minimoog- I am sure its all good , it was awesome that your countryman chose to use one of Joe's songs to skate to. I would guess that Joe was as suprised and pleased as the rest of us..........

Cappy Steve The chapman stick can be pretty fun if you listen to someone who is experienced with it. Stu said he would play it if he had 3 years to learn it. Tony Levin plays with one. But the best person I have seen use one live is Daniel Kane. Daniel Opened up for Joe one show in San Francisco on the Crystal Planet Tour in 98.

Levin is awesome! I first became aware of him through Peter Gabriel. Here's a dumb question from a guy who doesn't play bass: What are those "chopsticks" he wears on his fingers for??

Decided to watch Curling......used dvr to record and play back later.

The USA team needs way more experience at this sport. Germany's team came out on top 7-5. Interesting sport that got started in Scotland......those Scottish love their games and thankfully shared them with the rest of the world.

What a surprise to find one of Joe's songs in the Olympics!

Hey Joe, I live in Friendship. Lobster is the name of the game down here. I go lobstering in the summer and we crank your music as loud as possible, it attracts the lobsters. Lobster right now is only like 3 bucks a pound so a lobster dinner would be extremely easy. And you could go lobstering. Nothing else is quite like the smell of pogies at 5 in the morning.

For me it was once on vinyl. three times on the origianal cd ( 2 of them were borrowed and never returned ) once on a gold cd. once on time machine. once on live in SF cd. twice on live in SF dvd ( 1st one was stolen, had to replace it ) once on satriani live dvd.. once on live in paris dvd. oh ya, omce on the 20th anniversary disc.

and read this with your best Slanshroom accent.......

Two young Scottish men, Archie and Jock, are sitting in the pub discussing Jock's forthcoming wedding.

"Ach, it's all going like magic," says Jock. "I've got everything organized already - the flowers, the Church, the cars, the reception, the rings, the minister, even ma stag night...."

Archie nods approvingly. "Man, I've even bought a kilt to be married in!" continues Jock.

"A kilt?" exclaims Archie, "That's great, you'll look pure smart in that! And what's the tartan?"

"Och," says Jock, "I'd imagine she'll be in white."
