Some of the special effects included oil on a glass plate and then paint smeared around in it and projected on a screen. Then they dropped a bunch of feathers on us. The 60's man. Ha Ha. I was there and I do remember it.

hey Blue_Moon Quote:I almost want the dvd more for the epileptic seizure effects

looking forward to them, be sure to watch it high or drunk

first post here for me, I have epileptic seizures and on a funny note I have had them at concerts when the bands use the flashing strobelights. been to hundreds of concerts but seems the latest fad is to have the real bright strobe light. Chickenfoot used them this past year. when they start using them I have to close my eyes. kinda sucks.my episodes are not grand mall just petite mall. I just space out and lose a little bit of time in life. I'm expecting the dvd in mail, I guess I'll have to watch it with the lights on, not in a dark room.

McDave - I only went to that one. It was "Anthem of the Sun" era. I didn't think they were any good just a lot of long loud jams. Some of their later stuff was better, when it got a little folksy.

Hi Joe!

This is my first time posting on your fan site, so I just want to let everyone that visits here know that after my brother introduced your album "Is There Love in Space" to me, I instantly became a fan because I liked ALL the songs.

I do have a request I would like to make:

I am currently a digital arts student at Pratt Institute of Brooklyn, NY and I am working on a 3D animation about a boy astronaut who goes on a mysterious mission to save a self-destructing planet. I do need music for my animated short film and bam, it hit me, your songs would be awesome for this!

Because this is a senior project and might be released in several animation festivals after April 2010, I would like to officially ask you for permission to use some of your songs. So far I'm thinking "I Like Rain" (for action adrenaline) and "If I Could Fly" for the credits.

You can email me at khwang2@pratt.edu to let me know your thoughts on my request or a simple no. Either way, your music is awesome and keep it up man!

From past years in the chat, if ya hang out in there long enough, ya get a visit from Joe. That's a fact. Luini too. Another of the many reasons I loved working evenings. I was up late enough that my east coast time would match with Joe's west coast time and when all the planets aligned - WOOO! We had some seriously fun times! Hilarious conversations with Joe and Jon (at separate times). Made some great friends too....as well as a few enemies ;-)

Chee, what was the highest count we had in there? 12 or 13?
