Question for you all to change the taste a bit.

How can one tell how old a Jack Daniels bottle is. I've looked all over the bottle and haven't had much luck. I know it's at least 8 or 9 nine years old and I haven't cracked the seal.

Captain Phil was one of my favs. He was sick for a while now. Wonder what his boys are gonna do with the business?

Opening show for the Olympics is fairly lame. Nice projections, but that's about it. Enjoyed the natives dancing, but then to make them do it for over an hour was overkill and lame. My husband keeps yelling for Shania to come on. lol!

Nyquil, here I come.

*cough*cough*

Me mum grounded me from any visits because I have a nasty cold now. Great timing, huh? She was moved back into a regular room again today, but likes it better in critical care cause the nurses are nicer. I told her to fake another heart attack so they take her back again. lol! wah wah waaaahhhhh!

What's life without humor?

Woohoo, the Winter Olympics have started!

I only got to see the last hour of it. Good luck to all athletes.

I may not be able to watch a lot of it because of work. I got six days of work at the hotel/restaurant starting Monday. I guess I'll decide (on Thursday) if I want to take that day off, or work at the guitar store. Speaking of work, it went well tonight at the restaurant (especially tips). I'm glad I'm there and got out of my previous hotel job. I'm also glad I don't have to work double tomorrow, just the evening. The hotel is sold out due to Valentine packages that people bought, and sports teams.

Michelle & Austin: Shania or Rush would've been cool. I also thought of Nickelback or Avril Lavigne performing at the opening ceremony. K.D. Lang's performance was good BTW.

Did anyone get to watch the premiere of Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains? That's going to be a good season.

Hope you're all doing well. Time for bed, another busy day/night Saturday, plus the first race/run on Sunday.

Grant

'Chelle...my wife and I watched it. Even Sugar's topless run to the finish line could'nt save her...lol. We knew when she started balling when they lost the immunity challenge that she would be the first to go. And we love to hate Russell..great player, but he's already declared himself the best player of all time...he's gotta get his ego crushed. I hope he's the second one to go. Or shortly thereafter.

Blue buffalo - Freddy, JD is matured for about four years before bottling if memory serves me correctly. Once bottled it doesn't 'age' any more and should taste pretty much the same whether you drink it straight away or wait ten years.

I thought KD Lang looked like a little groom figure on the top of a wedding cake. I'm just sayin'....

Peas Lily, Thanks for finding that vid of Joe and Steve Miller. I had that saved to my favs a while back, but they took it off so I lost it. I absolutely LOVE when Joe plays the blues!

McDave, I was talking about the Olympics, and you were talking about Survivor. LOL! I guess the lighting of the Olympic torch at the end was a bit of a challenge like Survivor. Poor Gretzky! Maybe if he went topless at the end it might have made the show better. lol!

mikesb, lmao! I had to think of who you meant by " bearded garden gnome monologue boy", then it dawned on me. THAT GUY! With the beard coming out of his neck. lol! I didn't even know wtf was going on by then. He was kinda hard to look at...so I didn't. lol!

Time to watch the interview.

Ugh! This feckin' cold is a nasty one.

Michelle, I think Dave was talking to me about Survivor. You're right, K.D. Lang did look like a groom. Too bad that everything went well for the ceremony until the lighting of the torch when one of those pillars didn't come up. Anyone that went topless would be a highlight/memory for any sporting event.

I'm in the chat room right now, if anyone wants to join.

Yeah, sorry about the mix-up.

HawkGuy...At least one or two realize that he is making alliances with everyone. And the smart ones go along with it. The thing about Russell is, if you don't agree with him in any way shape or form, he'll put a target on your back. Hell of a player, but I'd rather see the money go to someone who really needs it. Then again, if you can take 40 days off from your job without any consequences, money is'nt an issue right?

McDave Yes dave , but I'm very sure that he'll play all of his dirty tricks like he did last time.. but he also gotta remember that the smart ones that know his trick? might not blend too well in his game either..I do know one or 2 things.. watch out on Russel immunity idols hunting.. he is a very sneaky guy when it comes to idols

Hello Joe, I hope you are doing well and life is treating you well. I like your music a lot and respect you very much.

I want to ask you how can you remember how to play so many songs that seem so complicated and intricate? I have watched you play and it seems to me that you are actually playing your guitar with your subconscious mind and you don't have to think much to play your songs, probably because you have played them over and over and they are embedded into your memory. Is that how you are able to remember them and always play them exactly the same way, every time? Your ability and knowledge seem so great, but your memory must be so perfect.
