Awww webby Jon, we'd do both shows if we could, but they play the same night, dangit! Guess we'll take live Joe over screen Joe any day though and will just hafta wait for the dvd to release :) But it's great for those who can't make the EH show! Thanks for the heads up and special dealio!

Austin, sounds fantastic, and based on reading Joe's blog, he's totally loving this. But we prolly all kinda figgered he would, lol!! And a new color JS2400?? Sweet!! I was expecting to see the white, but that blue should be interesting. I'm betting it's the same color as what Joe gave Jimmy Fallon a coupla weeks ago. Other than Joe,we haven't seen any of the players live so this show is going to be a real highlight for us :) Enjoy Aspen....Aspen?? woo woo! lol! Oh, and ps, you might be proud of me that my musical tastes are continuing to expand, checking out Paramour and Muse and Linkin Park....I know, takes me long enough, but whenever I venture "out" I have to give credit to Chris for pushing me, and then I think of you and your diverse musical tastes and collection :)

Guitarvibes, thanks for the blog addy, it'll be fun to stay updated with Joe on his journey.

I have been trying to locate a physical mailing address to send a letter to Mr. Satriani for almost a year. Does anyone know what that may be or where I might find this information? I have a looong story to tell as well as unused(burnt!) tickets to send (as proof!) to my rock gahd regarding my dream of seeing him in person in Phoenix a couple years ago. Unusual and simply f*d up circumstances occurred on that f*n dust bowl day. Thank "ya's" for the assistance, fer sure!

Yeah i seen those 107.7 The Bone Vids.

I loved the way he asked Joe what his first Beatles song was and you could see his mind ticking over going back to the days his sisters would play em.

Not one to complain, but I wish I didn't buy the Live In Paris DVD. While as always the music is masterful, the video effects took away from the DVDs purpose; to watch Joe play. There are way too many visual effects and switching between cameras to make watching it enjoyable. The music is hot, the video is not. Guess it's my fault for setting expectations, but I was hoping for a full DVD along the lines of your set on G3 Live in Tokyo. Sorry Joe...please take it as constructive criticism from a long time fan.

yep cool... haven't seen Vernon Reid in a long time..and it's great to see Joe as always and some new guits rolling out..was getting a bit blah about the candy apple one..anyway..it must be a great life to be such a skilled player..getting to jam with all kinds of cool players..go all over the world..and just be on one hell of a roller coaster ride..I just wonder sometimes..what Joe will do next to amaze us..? I mean Joe...do you think you still have uncharted waters with your playing..?? is your ability fully grown yet..? If not...all I can say is i'm looking forward to whatever you dazzle us with next..!!

So you know how a flock of geese together is called a gaggle.....and a buncha cows together is a herd....there's even a pod of whales.......etc, etc, etc....

So.....when a group of t2j'ers get together for a show, what do we call them, besides the obvious Satchers?

This is what I'm pondering on this fine Sunday morning...yes, I know....I'm not right in the head but it's my world I live in, lol!!!

And besides, chelle wants to be an Oscar Meyer weiner today, so I'm in good company....

I bet Jimi is very proud of you Joe, and honored every time a tribute tour hits the road. I can only imagine how you must feel, doing these shows :) My heart just swells up for ya!!
