Wow!! How about the US tying the hockey game with 24 seconds left! Man, what a shocker. It'll ben an interesting OT. I would imagine the Canadian's will turn up the heat.

Ya. It finished the way it was supposed to anyway. Well, maybe not the US getting silver, but Canada was clearly the top of the heap.

Championship games at any sport, at any level, are always enjoyable to watch, and this was no exception. Great game.

Hybes, I respectfully disagree with your goalie-at-sleep assessment. As a goalie myself (soccer) I would like to know how the most dangerous forward of the opposing team ends up completely by himself that close to the goal. On overtime, no less.

It's great to hear Out Of The Sunrise from LIP on Joe's Nicecast. Man, I wish we could've heard that song on the US leg of the PSATMOR tour.

And Joe, I think you sound better with the Marshalls in Chickenfoot, but I'm really going to miss your JSX tone at your solo shows.

...Austin...

Woo, Congrats to Peas Lily Jr!!

Chip, I'm watching the closing ceremonies. We were switching channels so I'm sure I missed something. We kept turning cause it's so lame. Did Rush play? The only thing I liked so far was Neil Young.

Yes, it looks like I might be able to see Joe at Sweetwater. Does anyone know what I should do/prepare when I meet with Joe. This will be my first time ever to see him.

Joe: I wasn't quite sure what you'll be doing at Sweetwater, but will you be doing any signings/autographs by chance, plus taking pictures? I do have all your albums & DVDs and I was hoping if you will be able to sign them all. I did call Sweetwater about the in-store appearance, and left a message. Hopefully they'll call me back and give me more information. It would be quite a priviledge to meet and get to know you. If you know what's happening, could you let me know; I gratefully appreciate it. By the way, great to see that blue.

Peace Lily: Congratulations to your son! WOOHOO!

Elpp: I might get my chance/experience to meet Joe.

Chris, glad you had a great Birthday.

Ibanezplyr: Hope you're doing well. Stay strong!

Dave, I'll check out your gig online soon. Looking forward to seeing it.

I saw the Olympic Closing Ceremonies. i can't wait for the next Olympics (London 2012). I love the Olympics, Summer and Winter. It would be an experience to see it up close. I enjoy watching all of it.

Grant

That is great Glitz, enjoy!!

I have never been to in-store signings, only radio appearances and waiting at the bus for him to show up :) I would say bring a camera and divide the stuff you would want him to sign into 2 groups: 2 or 3 items that you must have signed, and the rest. That way if someone says "only 2 items will be signed per person" you will still be ready, and if no one says anything you can have him sign all your CD covers like he did to me in 2000 :D

Joe is a very cool dude, no ego trips or any of that rock star attitude. Have fun!!!

Best regards,

Glitzy - you lucky, lucky boy you'll get to meet Joe!!! And if you buy a JS20th you get a half hour lesson GO FOR IT GLITZY YOU CAN"T PASS THAT UP!!!

Oh, and can I ask a favour Glitzy? When you meet Joe could you please say hi from me and give him a big kiss from Skippy (OK a hug will do)? Would be great to see a pic of him with you.

I reckon Do The Stu and cosmic_ape have the whole in-store thing sussed out, I recommend you get their tips for a terrific experience.
