I was just thinking about the upcoming Chickenfoot DVD on Blue Ray. The movie industry is now starting to put a DRM unlock code on a lot of new Blue Ray movies coming out so that you can make 1 copy either to a Sony type device or an ipod. I have yet to see this with any concert dvd's. Wouldn't it be cool if they had done that for this Get Your Buzz on dvd. I would love if Joe would do that to all his future releases on dvd. It would be great to have a copy of the concert everywhere you went. Legally that is.

Back from the sprint, came in 3rd place overall. Not many participants (about a dozen), and I was three seconds away from the winner(s). Not too bad, just out of breath.
Thanks Peace Lily. BTW, I'm about to start listening to ITLIS as well.

Great scenery on the way home this evening. A large group of middle easterners have set up tents along a major roadway and are protesting America to free their people and stop tormenting them.

I been a member of this website awhile even though
I think I've only posted once. Started listening to Joe
when I was in highschool it all started with Surfing With
The Alien. Before I even knew who Joe Satriani was
I almost got a chance to meet him. It was back in the
80's when I was in elementary school. Joe Satriani was
suppose to come play but could not so Dweezil Zappa
ended up playing for us. I did not know who he was
either to I got my first Frank Zappa album and found
out it was his son. He played guitar for our class and
as he was leaving I said "Your the best guitar player
I ever seen" and he said "I'll remember you". I wonder
If he does. Also Eric Clapton came to hand out jellybeans
although he did not play. I remember Geddy Lee from
RUSH standing in the doorway as I left class. A Strange
woman also gave me a Charlie Brown sweather. She
told me to try it on and I wore it back to class. I think later
my mom threw it away. I even got to speak for Spongebob
and Patrick. Back before it was a cartoon it was a puppet
show. We even got to write to bands. What a strange year that was. I guess you can only be a kid once. Big Time,
Make it all big.

DTS & Peace Lily: I'm surprised too. Where is everyone? Anyway, it was a good one for me. Went to three bars (two with friends). It was great to catch up with some friends of mine. I even scored a U2 CD.
Blue_Moon: That's right Alan, a U2 CD. How was your St. Patty's Day?

Can't help thinking that we outwith the US miss out on some really great and cool shows, any plans to take the Experience Hendrix Tour to a wider audience? I've watched a few bits and peices on the YouT, looked really cool, collaberations are great!
Never mind, . . . . this year I'm taking Scotland round the world - awsome holiday planned, five weeks and 1 day to go! I may post every day as a countdown - any thoughts?
I have only one question and it's one for Louise and me . . . . . . will, we go home?!?!?!

mikesb---Did you get goofy and green for St. Paddy's Day?
I got some green on and went to a petition signing to get our Universal health coverage passed in Congress. We will all be the poorer if it doesn't pass. The whole country and world are watching! It's too important to get brushed under a carpet.
Not too much going on except my guitar lesson. Ry can be funneh at times. At the end of the lesson he said he wouldn't see me again util April. Taking off on a musician's mission!
Al-- Did you have a good time in Eire? Did ya see River Dance or the Chieftains? I heard Paddy Moloney has a new album out called "San Patricio".......ahh, I love the tin whistles, harps and uilleann pipes (Irish version of bagpipes, I guess). I imagine you look dashing in a green and orange kilt! I read that there is much to celebrate about bein' Irish! Books and western history were moved over the centuries by the Irish....and they got more civilized in the process--No more running into battle stark naked!! LOL!

We're gonna pay either way.
I watched my pop go through stage 4 colon cancer because he didn't have health insurance. Self employed small business ppl are pretty much screwed in terms of health insurance. F it. Somethings gotta give.
cba to post much this week.

Here's a picture from yesterday somewhere in the city centre, nice lil' pic
and it was ok yesterday, usually i hate the day, it just reminds me of sunday afternoons cept every single person is out and its jammers most places, lots o kids runnin' around trying to get alcohol, twas funny in local places, then in the city centre was jammers, i hardly ever go into town for the day since its usually overwhelming with chaos and rules cease to excist! crazy mofo place
and nah wouldn't dare go near any of that any of that stereotypical irish shizzle, thats for u yanks to come over and do, you all seem to dig it

My husband is self employed and he pays a fortune, as will I when I am laid off. I don't hear much about how to cut health care costs. The rising costs are the problem and the way it is structured so that those who have insurance or private pay are forced to pay for those who can't (or won't). I see far too many illegal aliens headed to our local hospital at 5 for their free "emergency" care. I think lawsuits and insurance companies are adding to the costs. From what I hear of the current bill, these problems are not solved. This is just another tax.

Smells like bullshit no matter how you slice it. Are we more damned if we do, or more damned if we don't? I have friends who work for small companies, and they don't have to offer their employees insurance. They work full time and have no health ins. Personally, I think the insurance companies are the #1 problem in America. They are the ones that need a foot up their bums!

I want the Congress and the Senate on the plan they approve for us. Notice how that is not on the table and that we pay for them and their families? They have not been serving us well.
