But Joe, don't do this like I did a few years ago! ;-)

Everyone, I noticed a few Experience Hendrix bootlegs are up on Dime A Dozen (Universal City, the first San Francisco show, and Minneapolis). I'm listening to Joe's UC set right now and it sounds pretty good. If you have an account there, check 'em out.

And since michelle posted a Robert Randolph video from this tour, I thought I'd share a video of him playing another Jimi Hendrix song (All Along The Watchtower) with the Dave Matthews Band a few years ago. Robert Randolph is excellent...I hope some people take the time to check out his music.

Wow, what an experience of a lifetime. Everything was out of this world fantastic. Rick and I had a great time, even though we were in different rooms. He was in the Conference Hall, I was in the Performance Theatre. Wish he was in there.

Joe played Satch Boogie, SWTA, AWMAWY, FIABD, (I think) Slow Down Blues, and Summer Song.

I was in the front row, in the middle (white hat on backwards), which was exciting. I took a lot of pictures with my cameras and on my phone, recorded some of his performances on my phone for video, and recorded his monologues. I'm planning on getting the pictures developed and to put it on a CD.

I did ask him a question. I asked , "Of all the songs and albums you have recorded, which is your favorite?" Joe said he didn't have one, so he's kind of like me. I like them all, no favorite.

Everything was amazing. He didn't allow any autographs or pictures with him because of his schedule. He's probably heading to Akron, Ohio right now for the next Hendrix Experience. Therefore, he extended his music playing and Q&A. I enjoyed everything. I LOVED IT!

I was not able to tell him hello for all of you because of the time of his performances, his Q&A, etc. I was able to jot him a thank you to tell him thanks for coming, so hopefully he got it and read my little thank you letter. I posted some of your guys name, so consider that a hi to Joe from you all. They also gave away door prizes, including an Ibanez G10 that Joe signed. I was six numbers away from winning it. I didn't win anything, but oh well. Seeing Joe is considered my prize, including the question I asked him. Seeing him looking straight at me was a highlight.

Distorted Soul: Rick, again, great meeting you. Have a safe trip back.

It will all be posted on Sweetwater's website of his performance. You can all check it out sometime. It was totally amazing.

Well, time to take the pictures in to get developed. See ya everyone. We'll talk more later about it.

Joe, thank you again for coming. I was the one who asked you about which song/album you liked. The guy said I was the one with the little fashion there. I didn't want to say my name to you because I figured you might know me by now. Thank you very, very, very much for coming to Fort Wayne, Indiana. Hope to see you again really soon.

Oh Glitzy that sounds wonderful!!!!! I just looked at the world clock and wondered if it was over by now. Front row in the middle is incredible well done on lining up early. Did Joe using backing tracks or just play solo?

Can't wait to see your pics and vids. Glad you asked Joe a question too - what were some of the other questions?

Dear joe, you met me up in milwaukee, at that signing you just did at the cascio music store, well i was really wondering if you truly did like that paint job on the blue and silver guitar, you probably got to see a bunch of blue and silver guitars but this one was the one that was homeade, to say the least, we got to talk to you about how you came up with the song "the bells of lal" so maybe now you remember me and my uncle. i was wondering if i could take a js1000 and paint it up and give it to you as a gift, would you play it?

Skippygirl & Peace Lily: Thank you and yes, I felt I that way. Some of the other questions were when he started playing, when will there be another G3, and the blue/coil guitar that Joe played at the Hendrix Experience. Distorted Soul (Rick) asked that. He played with the help of backup. No band members, just his music. Man, I wished this day would never end, but I have to wake up and come back to reality. It will always be one of the best days of my life. I have all of you to thank, but mostly, I thank Joe.

On the way home, I listened to Alice Cooper on 92.3 the Fort and what was playing? None other than Joe, Sammy, Chad, and Michael playing, "Oh Yeah." I needed some Chickenfoot.

Joe, thank you again. Best to you on the next Hendrix Experience (in Akron, Ohio). Hope you remembered me when I asked you that question on your favorite song/album. I do hope I can see you again; maybe up close and personal. Hope you received the letter I wrote to you as well. Thank you.

Grant

Cheese101: Tracie, yes that is the next goal/task. However, I will need you and everyone's help to get me there. It's hard for me right now due to my jobs and running. I have a 20K run/race this Saturday. I really would like to see Joe up and close again; even meet him again. Yes, Joe did make me "brighter." I felt I was a cloud above cloud nine. I already miss Joe since he left for Akron, Ohio for another Hendrix Experience. On a brighter note, I'll feel happy when I look at the pictures and short videos on my phone of Joe. Thank you for being a friend.

Distorted Soul: Rick, thanks for hangin' at Sweetwater.

BTW, Joe had Marshall Amps, plus his BIG bad Wah Pedal, Time Machine Pedal, and Vox Satchurator with him, along with his Black Dog guitar.

Joe, thank you again.

It's hard to write down everyone's name so to sum it up, thank you all you T2Jers & everyone.

Grant

Hi, Just joined from sunny North Wales, UK. Have a14 yr old son who seems to have found what he excels at and he wants to change his guitar.Have read lots of reviews on the different models, but as we are in a rural part of Wales,(no decent guitar shops within 100 miles!!)and will probably have to buy on the net, I would really appreciate members thoughts on various models. He's been looking at the S420, Jem555 and 5470F prestige. We want to encourage him all we can but also can't afford to buy the wrong thing for him. He's nearly worn out G3 Live in Denver dvd so you know what he likes to play. Thanks in advance for any help. Anna

Annawales - hi! You might find some more info over at jemsite.com and could also pose your question there

I am not sure how this would compare price wise to those models but have you considered the JS100?

You will probably find gak.co.uk is the cheapest gear shop in the UK. Hope that helps

Hi Joe, Really want you guys to come over to England. Any idea when you might visit the UK next? I can only afford a Carvin but it's got a fast neck and enough frets to keep up for the jam alongs. Shame about the Hendrix Tour is not coming over here. Hope there's a live dvd in the making! Take care
