Hi everyone...just thought I'd post a quick note to say I'm back from Aspen, and I didn't hit a tree and end up in the hospital or anything like that. I have a bit of a busy weekend ahead, but I'll be back to my regular posting self soon.

I'll have plenty of pictures to share, too, but most of them aren't on my camera so it might take a bit.

...Austin...

Good luck Grant! Think it may be a bit BRISK this AM though... Hey, do you think those attending the Sweetwater in-store will actually get to meet Joe? That would be awesome
I've been waiting all morning for my 12 yr old daughter (she's taking the SAT)... meanwhile listening to "Ghosts" from Live in Paris =) LOVE that song. Not sure why it didn't make it on the PSATMOR US release...
Everyone have a good weekend!
JOE, feeling better yet?

Do The Stu: Austin, welcome back. Hope everything went well on your vacation.

Distorted Soul: Rick, as far as I know, Joe will be there.

Axeshredderjc: Joe, thanks for the advice, but they prefer to have kilts. I would say about more than 50% of the participants had kilts.

Okay, I did the run & here are the results:

1st in the Age Division 6th Overall out of about maybe 500 or more Time was 16 Minutes & 44 Seconds

However the course was short by about half a mile. If it was a 5K, I would had another 2 minutes plus some seconds added on. It was cold and rainy, but it was fun. The run was for you Joe, & for everyone. Hope you're doing better Joe.

Grant

I am really enjoying Black Rock. Steal Your Heart Away, as I mentioned earlier, is one of my favorites, as is Blue and Evil. I gave this my usual new album skim over every track, and these two immediately jumped out at me. The intro and outro to Blue and Evil send a chill down my spine. Intro goes in to a very heavy riff that I must have the volume turned all the way up for! I would consider it fairly simple as I was able to pick up my guitar and play it after just a minute, and I am far below even amateur level.

On a side note, I absolutely HATE the new layout that YouTube has decided to go with....

On another side note, I picked up Liquid Tension Experiment's Live in LA and NY albums. Very cool stuff. Acid Rain and Another Dimension are two that I have been constantly listening to. I am kind of getting 'backed up' with music here. I feel like I am running behind on Live in Paris now, so I will have to catch up on that as soon as I wear Black Rock and LTE out. Also, I've had a bootleg of Joe Live in Paris on the FIABD tour, 1990 for a while now. I've really been into "I Believe and "Can't Slow Down". I wish Joe would sing once in a while these days, he has some great lyrics that should have the dust blown off them once in a while!

Nice run Grant !

Ok...here are my second day finds with my metal detector..

Two quarters : 1966, 1967.. Seven pennies : 1912, 1919, 1936, 1945, 1946, 1965 and 1981.. One token : Good for two packs of cigarettes..(will have to do some research on that one)..It's gotta be old. I've never seen one. One earring...could'nt possibly describe it. I thought it was a fishing lure. And one "Junior Police" pin. Maybe something you would get in a cracker jack box but definately 40+ years old since it's made of metal.

Good times..I'm definately hooked.

Glitzman: you don't have an iPhone or iPod touch? Anyone you know have one? Download pokemaker for free. It just jumped about 16 spots and appears on the first screen on the iPhone app store now if you search for pokemon.

Email me regarding first ep with a good offer. Might be able to help.

Review later, but just to say first,

FANFREAKINTASTIC SHOW!!! See it if you can!! Joe's on FIYAH! lol!!

Meanwhile, found some pics from the Santa Barbara show here

Hopefully there will be more shows with pics, but for now, there's just that show listed there. Security was really tight at our show, they were actually confiscating cameras of any kind, including cell phones if you tried more than one time to take a pic...so Chris and I didn't even take the chance. Kinda bummed not to have pics or video, but we'll remember this show just the same :)

Hope you had a good day off Joe!

Tarred, losing an hour of sleep tonight from daylight savings time, so out fer now, back 2mo with stuff on the show. Night!

Joe, I must say I really enjoyed the new Chickenfoot album. I was always a fan of Sammy and you guys seem to blend well together.

However, I was wondering if you plan to release another solo album. It seemed as if you were releasing a new one about every 2 years. I got to see you in April of 2006 on the 'Colossal' tour with Eric Johnson and it was awesome. I really hope you continue to release your solo work as that is your best stuff.

All the best

-Wayne

For Joe. IF you get this, I won't take much of your time.

Brian L. from Minneapolis. Y'know, I haven't been on the site all that much, but how do you deal with so damn many messages!?!? I can't imagine anyone having time to go through all this. Anyway, I'm debating attending the Hendrix tour since the nature of time and internet (and other stuff) makes it impossible to talk to you. Unfortunately no promises.

And this page says about 3500 characters remaining. That's one hell of a message and I hope you never have to deal with it!
