Peas Lily, sounds like a nice dinner. Love the biscuits! Hope you have a great time when you finally get around to it.

Here's a fun video I found. Natalie is fishing, and no one cares but her mom and dad. Poor Natalie got no bites and went home. So sad. She wanted to be an internet star. lol!

Here's another good MSG tune - Victim of Illusion. I'm gonna hit Best Buy after work tomorrow. The cd we have isn't the one I want. lol! I'm looking for this cover. Got the album, but I can't play that in my car. lol!

edit: Fatape/Al Surfer, have you seen this? 16 yr old MS with the Scorpions. And now I have to watch Black Out by the Scorps. This stuff is addictive!

Since Joe says he's doing some new CF sessions in the Ice 9 pedal commercial guess that means theres at least a 2nd record coming eventually. To which my younger bro says CF should call it "Back from the Coop" lol. He already has the album art done too. says all you gotta do is have a pic of a freshly laid egg lying on the ground with the CF logo stamped on it!...well thats the PG version, he also mentioned a more graphic version where sammy is involved but I'll leave that to all of your capable imaginations LOL

NEW MUSIC

got the new Scorpions album Sting in the Tail friday and it absolutely smokes! The breakdown is 5 fast jams, 2 mid tempo power jams, and about 4 ballad types. But its totally worth the price of admission just for the 5 jams. The overall feel of the music is a like a modern twist on their Love at First Sting and Face the Heat stuff, so it has a classic pedal to the floor feel. If you do get it get the itunes version of the album as you get a bonus jam called "Let's rock" which sounds pretty solid too. Here's a taste: Sting in the Tail enjoy

Michelle - Thanks for the link. Silly Scorp's. song, lol. Way back when my band would play "She's A Woman He's A Man". Good link from '77 off the link you posted. Although way too much smoke & swaying in unison around 2:25. Funny stuff. Glad I lived through it though.

Joe related - I've got a ringtone of "It's So Good" looped from 3:00 to around 3:10. Kind of cool when someone asks me for the name.

Good grief, everyone is talking about Sweetwater. I haven't had a chance to check it out, or check out oxley11's vid of Joe yet. Maybe sometime this week I'll be able to.

Peace Lily: Happy Birthday. Hope you're doing better/well. Listen to some of your favorite music, and have yourself a little fun on your big day. Happy Birthday!

Crystal Jammer: I really like that name for Chickenfoot's second album. Who knows, maybe that could be the one. All the best to you & hope you're doing well.

Axeshredderjc: You're welcome man; anytime.

Cheese101: I agree with you. I bet Jimi is looking down at Joe and the others after the Hendrix Experience Tour, smiling big. Hope you're doing well.

I just finished watching ATHF. That show was only on for 15 minutes. I have to say that was some outrageous/out-of-the-ordinary episode I have ever seen. Here's my recap of the episode:

That cup character bought some bought want he thought was an ipod, but it was an i-am-apod (pod seeds). He threw them out and the pods grew in a 6-8-eyed plant that started hanging out with him. He was trying to make a copy of him (like aliens do on tv/movies) but it didn't work out (after a number of attempts, including the plan to jam with Chickenfoot). "Meatwad" & the Fry Guy found out that this plant dude is like an alien and they are trying to make copies/clones of people and take over them/their bodies.

The next part had all four of those characters getting backstage VIP passes to see the band Chickenfoot. That's right, the plant, that cup character, plus "Meatwad" and that Fry Guy character ended up going to a Chickenfoot gig. The plant started chatting with Michael Anthony and acted all nice/friendly and Michael was all cool with that. Sammy was like, "What the hell is going on?" Joe only (thought at first) and talked for 5 seconds by saying, "Chill Sammy, he's a fan." After that, the plant (all of a sudden) ate/decomposed Michael and made clones of him as well as the plant himself. Everything was cool at first until the plant did this thing to Michael. BTW, Chad didn't say anything. After that whole fiasco, the whole town/city was full of Michael Anthonys and those 6-8-eyed plants. At the end, "Meatwad", and the Fry Guy asked a neighbor how the gig was and out of the neighbor's mouth was nothing but noise or static of some sort. The two of them then said it was time to stop this madness. THE END!

Well, I hope this sums it up for all of you. I better get ready for bed, I got an add on my schedule so I have to go in early Monday morning. Looks like I got double-duty of restaurant work and the guitar store Monday.

Joe: Congrats and excellent job on your Hendrix Experience Tour, Ibanez gigs, and the Aqua-Teen-Hunger-Force episode with Sammy, Michael, and Chad. All the best on your next project(s).

Later everyone!

Grant

Austin- I meant to mention this the last time you were talking about Aerosmith:

I recently got ahold of a lot of old Guitar World magazines. In the June 1991 issue GW asked a bunch of guitar players to name their 10 favorite guitar albums. Here is what Brad Whitford chose:
1. Hendrix-Axis: Bold as Love
2. Cream- Disraeli Gears
3. Eric Johnson- Ah Via Musicom
4. Gary Moore-Victims of the Future
5. SRV- Texas Flood
6. Zeppelin 1
7. HZ Top-Best of
8. Jeff Beck- Blow by Blow
9. Satriani-Surfing with the Alien
10. John Mayall with Eric Clapton-Bluesbreakers

I'm not an Aerosmith fan, but I thought that was cool to read. Satriani also made it to Nugent's list (#9-Flying in a Blue Dream).

That's cool, but I hate Ted Nugent.

dream3 - that is fantastic happy birthday mate and glad you had such a wonderful surprise - we both had a lovely Joe surprise this weekend huh? He signed a special limited edition Axe poster for me at the NY instore.

Must get back into chat soon, can you post a pic of the CD?

Peace - thanks for the Sweetwater link I too love to hear the guitar talk and I have to smile, it reminds me of wine talk and how they find different ways to describe a flavour. So far I've been able to watch part 1 and learnt that there is "chimey high end" LMAO I am gonne write down all the descriptions I've heard and make a list.
