-Most long DVD's over 120 mins. freeze up for a short moment, where they go to the next layer.
-Would buy DVD without the graphics (and by then also improved sound) so will wait for final release with everything right.
-Waiting for Joe's autumn tourdates in NL....

Craigy101, i could only get mid stalls, so opted for front circle. Just hurry & book ..............Mid stalls are a pretty good option though if they are still there.

The LA City Council approved a boycott of Arizona today. I think this is ridiculous, as the boycott doesn't extend to US Airways flights (an Arizona company) and the Department of Water and Power's energy purchases from Arizona. What good is a boycott if it isn't across the board?

Also, the Pew Research Center's latest poll shows most Americans are in favor of Arizona's immigration bill.

Are there any Avenged Sevenfold fans here? Their drummer died late last year, so they asked Mike Portnoy from Dream Theater to play on their new album. You can listen to a 30-second sound clip here. I really hear MP's style slipping in during the last 10 seconds or so.
fibonacci1618 - We get into big setlist discussions here every few months or so. I like your idea and would love to see more album songs that were never played on that album's tour. I think Asik Veysel, The Souls Of Distortion, Chords Of Life, and Flavor Crystal 7 would be great in a future set.

There isn't anything wrong with songs like Devil's Slide, Starry Night, or Super Colossal, but instead keeping them in the setlist for the next year's tour I think it'd be neat to give new stuff a try.

I know I'm not a typical fan, though...

michelle - Yeah, I hardly ever listen to the radio either. Classic rock stations are almost as bad. The quality of the music is better, but it still bugs me how radio stations stick to such a small playlist. You don't need to stick to one of the same five Van Halen or Rolling Stones songs every time you play that band, you know?

I've had my car for five years and I probably haven't listened to the radio in it for more than five *hours* all combined. I love my CD changer. :-)

turbo236 - Yeah, I remember that about the Satriani Live! CDs, but I never sent mine in to be replaced...oh well. Also, the G3 Live In Tokyo album was one of the albums that had the copy protection rootkit on it that could potentially open people's computers to hackers...I believe they had an exchange program for that, too (again, though, I kept my CD...I've just made sure not to listen to it on my computer).
Listening to: Thieves & Liars - When Dreams Become Reality (current song: Good Times)

anibur - how come you went for circle if you could get the mid stall seats? Is the mid stall not further forward than the front circle? Or am i missing something? :)

Austin, My cd changer has in Godsmack (The Oracle), Pantera, Joe, 2 Disturbed, & C.S. Bombastic Meatbats. Something for every mood :-)

I hate that we don't get Philly stations in good here. I can hear a bit of Danny Bonaduce through static on the way to work, but that usually only lasts a few blocks before I have to throw it on disc mode and get pumped up for work. lol!

OMG she has her own channel!! You can hear her purr throughout the videos too. lol! It makes me so happy to see her in action!

My CF BluRay doesn't skip that I can recall (don't have the DVD)

Joe, love the LIP DVD... I think it's refreshing, but if an "unaffected" version came out, I'd surely buy it as well. It would be great if there was a BluRay version.

T2J crew... Hope all are doing well... is it the weekend yet???

I don't recall my GYBO DVD skipping either ... Distortedsoul- Its refreshing not being the only one that loves the LIP DVD...LOL...... sometimes I have felt like the only one......

I feel like I just had a week-end after going to the concert on Monday. I had soooo much fun! Did the whole meet and greet sound check & picture thing..... I kept telling my sis and daughter that I wished it was a JOE show though....... They do not get it.....

Michelle- My musical tastes are almost schizophrenic I can enjoy some rock-pop light (Daughtry Etc.)...to heavy duty (Godsmack etc) & a bunch of stuff in between.....but the music I LOVE is JOE's ....I never get tired of it and I never get enough .

I am really jealous the folks that are going to go 2 & 3 in a row with the new tour ........ wow! Fun times ahead for U :-)

Glitzman- Congrats on your time , that was a great difference from last year . Way to go!

Craigy101 - If I had to guess, maybe the circle seats are cheaper and aren't that much farther back from the available stall seats? I've made seating decisions like that at some shows to save some cash...

michelle - I love the Meatbats album...such good playing. Are you and I the only two people here who have it?

And thanks for the link to Koko's YouTube page...that's awesome!

Peace Lily - "I am really jealous the folks that are going to go 2 & 3 in a row with the new tour"

This was just before you joined the site, but I caught the last four shows of the PSATMOR tour (San Diego, Los Angeles, Reno, and San Francisco). That was more than 1,000 miles in four days, but it was awesome. I had a blast, and the big bunch of T2Jers I met up with for the last two shows had a lot to do with that. I can't wait until the next solo tour, so we can do that again... :-)

Craigy101.yes you are right, my mistake, I should have booked mid stall - I had been suffering a migraine yesterday;-((

Once at S Bush Empire we had front row circle, and it was pretty awesome, no one standing in front or anything, but that is prob a lot nearer. Anyways, I did get 5 rows back at BHam in stalls so can get a perspective of 2 different views.....;-) Left hand side toooo...

Thanks for coming over again Joe.........

That's pretty damn funny that Al navigated when you guys were traveling around San Francisco. Very impressive...but then all that little brat has to do these days is travel. lol! He's a feckin professional!

anibur, sorry about yer migraine. They suck.

Chee, I'll tell Boog he has to skip a semester of college so we can follow Joe around the west coast. I could always sell a kidney or something too. I hear the black market is hot right now.

Alan, no tix to see anyone on yer birthday yet? That's prolly better beings that you get yer buzz on a bit to much to do two things at once. lol! Yer liver should be pleading for an easy night by the 29th. lol! I know how much you love Slash, so it'll be amazing. Knopfler too! Here's yer two favs together lol!

Austin, I bought the Meatbats cd as soon as I knew about it and it's been one of my top 5's ever since :-) I love Koko!

Peas Lily, as I've said many times before, my musical tastes are all over the board too. Music is such a huge part of my life, and I have so many good memories with different soundtracks to that particular time in my life.

The sun is FINALLY out today! It rained just about all week, and on Monday when the sun was out, the wind was so strong you couldn't enjoy the day anyway. So much for getting all the yard work done. lol!

Let's Dance!

Skippy, to answer yer other question, it's a crap shoot in San Fran for weather in Dec/Jan....when we were all there in November 2008 it actually got sunny and warm, which Joe said was pretty unusual...we bring him the sun, LOL!

So if I had to guess, I'd say be prepared for rain and fog in San Fran, and for cold and possibly snow in Reno....but don't ferget yer shorts in case it's sunny, LOL!!

Chelle, I can help u sell that kidney u know.....or we could pick up bottles and cans on the side of the road....or u could make friends with a travel agent and get stupendous deals on airfare....or u could go to work for an airline and get free flights. U can share our hotel room and be our "buddies" whilst here....or we can sell Mc to the highest bidder....I got lots ov idears on how to get you and Wavey here :)) No need for Boog to give up schoolin', there's always a way!

Pip, yer a worse Satch-Ho than all of us combined I'm thinkin....that many shows there, THEN yer gonna hop over here fer some more?? U go Mr. Ho! That rhymes, LOL!! I guess it's a healthy addiction :) Lemmie know if there's anything I can do to help you out this trip, if you do decide to come over. And bring Mc with you, even if (when) he's unconcious :D

I've have something for everybody to participate in. If they would like. I need votes.

So recently I've been hearing that Joe is more badass than Chuck Norris. ??? I want to know what you guys think. I think it could be true, except more people know Chuck Norris because he is an actor and Joe is a musician which already narrows it down. So if everybody we asked knew both of them we would get a close tie.

Pick your side:

Chuck Norris in Walker Texas Ranger
