So - you prefer to watch running - not running yourself.

Since, if you are running w/ a beer - it would get all foamy - and that is no fun.

I enjoy a good run, then sitting on my deck w/ 1-3 cold beers and grilling dinner.

Zinc - Joking aside I just don't enjoy running anymore. It reminds me how good I used to be and that I can't cut it anymore due to advancing years. I'm still in better nick than the majority of blokes my age but I miss being able to just run for a couple of miles to get loose before really letting rip for half a mile or so then having a nice mile or two to warm down.

Long time no see y'all. Was thinking of changing my username again. How does Alien32NonSmokerSupaaDaveSirLoinDOM sound? I know there are more but I can't think of them at the moment. But I can only be held accountable for the first three. I know it's easy to make assumptions when folks take a leave of absence. I have no excuses..I've been working, metal detecting and getting the garden ready. Will post some pic's of my coin finds when it's safe to return ;) Peace..

I have 100 or so posts to catch up on...I've had a busy weekend.

First, though, I assume everyone has seen the My Kinda Girl video by now? You can watch it at the Chickenfoot site. I'm glad the song is finally getting the "single" treatment.

In the video I think some of the words fly by too quickly or are too hard to make out over the images behind them, but I love the overall concept. If you don't "get" it, you might want to check out the videos for Van Halen's Right Now and Sammy Hagar's Cosmic Universal Fashion.

I missed the Chickenfoot webcast, as I said earlier. Where there any surprises? New covers? Some Hendrix, maybe?

I'm glad Highway Star was played, but it still bugs me that Joe and Sammy aren't doing the call-and-response bit the way Deep Purple does it. ;-)

BigBunny - Welcome back...it's always good to see posts from you here.
hybes - Glad you like the new Slash album!
McDave - Welcome back...and man, I remember alien32! How long ago was it that you had that name?
Blue_Moon - I like it a lot...very Satch-y tone in spots. Are you using your JS? Oh, and I do love that change toward the end...

...Austin...

Dear Joe, first of all its pretty cool that you actually went through the trouble of getting this website set up. And you actually read all these messages?! I understand that you can't respond to a lot of them because I bet your life is pretty hectic, but if you have the slightest amount of time, please consider this message... I need some words of advice because I'm in a garage band and it seems to be falling apart. Our bass player wants to create some songs but every time I work with him we dont get anywhere. That's probably because I usually write the songs. He's getting into metal and so is my drummer... but I'm into music like you and alterbridge and stuff like that. We are all getting a little irritated at eachother... What do you think? Should I move on? Is there a way to work this out? HELP! -Sullyguitar

Cappy Steve

I run for fun and I race. Typically I end up in the middle or upper half of my age group. Its fun - but also hard work.

I like running - helps me clear my head and wakes me up.

It also lets me eat a few extra snacks here and there.

Yes - glass would be bad for our feet.

But, the more you run barefoot, the tougher they would become, and more resistant to glass.

Hi Joe!! Nice to see you take some time out to answer a Q. The webcast in Cabo was pretty cool. It's great to see you so happy :-)

Just went to the drug store to get some allergy meds. I was getting Claritin D and some Sudafed. Claritin for bad days, and Sudafed when i don't need something as strong. I think it's sad times when you have to show yer ID & sign yer name to buy allergy meds, but I get it. To many yahoos using them to mix with illegal drugs. Anyways, I get to the counter and she scans the Claritin, takes the ID and scans that. Then she takes the Sudafed and scans that. Guess what - you can't even feckin buy them both at the same time!! lmao! The register said I was "over the limit" of that type of drug, so i could either buy one or the other, but not both. Maybe I should just treat my allergies with some good old fashion meth? I could prolly get it a lot cheaper, and they wouldn't ask to see my ID, and I prolly wouldn't care about my allergies! ffs!

*smacks hand to forehead*
