Yes a professional taped version of that G3 tour would be awesome. But it is not meant to be.

But the youtube videos are a nice consolation prize.

fatape, I would have loved to come back in, but I had to tiptoe off to work. I would have enjoyed a nice day off, but I'm off the weekend so WEH-HEY!!

Went into work today to find out that a former coworker had passed away. I worked with her for 6 months before she left to move in with her bf in another town. We kept in touch through text & email for a while, but then she didn't answer back. Never mentioned she was sick. Last I heard from her was a year ago. We had some hilarious times, and I think the hardest I've ever laughed at work was with her. We had the same sense of humor - always on the same page with our jokes and references. She had a hard edge, but that was just part of her character. She was the single mom of 7 girls. They're about 25 to 15 now - and 6 grandchildren. 46 years old. Smoked like a chimney. Died of lung cancer.

Hey there Joe, Read your blog about when you heard of Jimi Hendrix's death and I can so relate to it myself. I was just starting my sophmore year and my friend who was the drummer in the band and I were walking to go to lunch and one of our classmates passed us and said that Jimi Hendrix had died and we looked at each other with mouths wide open and just said ( DAMN) So after school we went to practice and just played his music that night. Long live the guitar king. Have no idea where guitar would have gone if not for him. Such an innovator and writing genius. Way ahead of his time. Well I have not been as fortunate to be able to make my living playing guitar but I will say that it has been there for me and would not give up playing for anything. Great show at the Chicago Theater by the way and thanks for the autographs in Burbank the following night.

Hi Joe I've been playing with your Signature model (JS1000) for a couple of years now. Nice piece of gear! The only thing that bothers me a little, is that the whammy bar does not stay in place. How do you manage to keep yours in place? Thanks!

From FT 10-11 April 2010, Page 7 "The kids are not alright"....A sad story of Phoebe Prince who left Ireland with her family to move to the US. They settled in South Hadley, Massachusetts a few months ago and now she is dead at age 14. Suicide, fecking, suicide! What happened in those short months was just as horrible....Adolescence can be frightening.....unwritten social contracts and all that. When a group of teenagers treat another teenager (and newcomer) like shit, they had better think real well about turning that around and/or getting help....That is so sad and so uncalled for...not everyone is so resilient without adult/peer help.....FGS....someone had to know what was going on!!

JOE--It scares me so much to hear these things.....I want to reach out and help teenagers if they'll let me. :-( I need a strong shoulder!

Hey Joe, I've been playing 6 years now and am self taught, I'm contemplating getting a guitar teacher, just so I can start writing music myself, because it takes me forever to write a song right now, would it help me much to get a teacher at this stage ( I am a pretty good guitarist, I can play crushing day, along with some other difficult songs) or should I just stay flying solo and just memorize all the scales and chords? Hope I'm not being too vague, thanks in advance.
