I had a similar problem with my Best Buy. I called them about 10 A.M yesterday to see if they had it in stock, because their website said no, and the lady on the phone said they had ONE DVD left, so I had them hold it for me until I could get there and buy it.

Haven't made it all the way through the concert yet. Watching it on my computer which is hooked up to a small set of speakers since I'm in the middle of moving, so I can't comment on the sound. I do agree that Joe was on fire, really the whole band was. Good night to film a DVD it seems.

I was a little bummed that Highway Star didn't make the set, same with Runnin' Out, but I'll take it. I'm also a little surprised that the same people that re-released the debut album 6 months after the fact filmed and released a live DVD/Blu-Ray without an accompanying soundtrack. I was really looking forward to jamming to this in my car. Guess I'll just have to lift the audio off the DVD :(

Glad to see they jammed out on Down the Drain. Kind of reminds me of the show some of us saw down in Tahoe a couple weeks before this was filmed. That was probably as close as I'll ever get to actually being at a concert that is being filmed, lol.

Ian

Hey Joe. I was on Youtube and somebody posted a comment that said that one of your favorite songs to play was "Time". It works out because that is one of favorite songs on my favorite album and I would LOVE to hear it live. It looks like a very fun song to play, if I had at least 10 years of playing experience. lol I just wanted to know if this statement was true. Don't you guys also jam on it sometimes during rehearsal?

Joe Satriani I want to know that since you are making a new solo album? why not ADD a 2nd bonus cd full of un release bonus tracts out of most un release songs never made it to your records

This is something that been on my mind past few years that some of satriani songs never made it to cd albums

Can't wait to hear "Come Closer" from Joe's description in Music Radar's interview. And if Sammy can just keep the word "dirty" out of the lyrics haha!

edit...OMG the Get Your Buzz On documentary is hilarious!!!!! Joe and Nigel Tufnall is a riot. A quick glimpse of Scubadaz and Pip/Scuba at Shepherds Bush too. On to the actual concert next....

edit2...what a great show in Phoenix, Joe is so hot! He really ripped it up...

Dude, Do I Smell White Castle?

by Eric Burkett -

“Hey, what's that smell?”

“What smell? Kumar...”

White Castle, the iconic hamburger chain that inspired stoners everywhere with its title role in the movie “Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle” has just released a scented candle. Hamburger-scented, of course.

Mind you, this is the same company that sells burger-scented air fresheners so, in some bizarrely cosmic twist of logic, this makes sense. And even if it doesn’t make sense, at least the proceeds are going to a good cause.

The burger chain has partnered with Nest Fragrances founder Laura Slatkin, designer of fragrances for Vera Wang, Elton John, and Princess Diana, to create a truly distinctive scent.

Described by one industry magazine as “the steam-grilled-on-a-bed-of-onions scent of America's first fast food hamburger” the candles are being offered throughout the month of May for 10 bucks. The proceeds support Autism Speaks which raises funds for autism research and advocacy.

Actually, the first run of candles – modeled after White Castle’s cardboard burger packages – has already sold out. More will be coming in. Keep an eye open and, hopefully, you’ll have an easier time getting to White Castle than Harold and Kumar.

Kenny Chesney talks to Anderson Cooper about TN. flood damage

What a mess.... read today too that many musicians lost millions of dollars of equipment & instruments also, which of course pales in comparison to the losses in life that have occurred.

I really had not read much about this tragedy until today ....very bad deal.

I agree with the Hawk Guy. But I think you should release one of the songs without a name to let the audience create their own custom vision of what hey think it's about. Some of Joe's songs have emotions that you can't explain until you see the title and then say "oh yeah that's what it sounds like". Searching, War, and A Train Of Angels are good examples of those "thaaaaaat's right" moments.

Still eagerly awaiting the release date for the Ice 9 overdrive pedal. I saw the Youtube video where Joe was jammin' out on it. If anybody hears anything, please let me know. Thanks!

Check this out

Unbelievable.

My husband and his boss had dinner at Joe's Crab Shack at the end of the video a few years back. So much loss. So much history gone.

Cube, hows...things?

"Douche of the Day" crown goes to...

Lawrence Taylor.
