Happy Mothers Day to all you moms out there! a little something i wrote for my mom a few years ago, redicated to all the moms here!

M is for the many times you stood by me, even when i made the wrong choices in my life.

O is for the one thing i can always be sure of, my mom will always love me.

T thank you for all the sacrifices you made in your life so that i could be happier in mine.

H is for the heartfelt love you always showed me no matter how little i showed you.

E for everything you have done for me, whithout your guidence i would not be who i am today.

R for the reason i write this to you. I want you to know that no matter where my life takes me, I know that i will always have the love, support and unwavering dedication to my happiness that only a mother can give. when all is said and done i know i will never lose your love and it makes my world a better place thinking of you mother.

Joe: i know your mom is still looking down proudly on her son on this Mother's Day and i hope your thoughts are of the great life she led and the love she showed her children!

Hey you Joe!

I am a huge Chickenfoot fan. I saw you guys at the Myth in Maplewood, MN on August 10, 2009. GREEAT SHOW!

Anyway, I have an idea for a cover song you guys can play on your next world tour.

I was listening to the radio the other day and Rick Derringer's "Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo" came on, and I immediately started hearing your guitar playing in the opening riffs! Then I started hearing Sammy singing (which he would have the perfect voice for) and Mike's background vocals, then I imagined Chad on drums.

I told my Dad (who is a big Chickenfoot fan too) that "Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo" would be a great song for you guys to play live in concert, and he agreed!

So maybe you guys can play that song on your next tour, because that would be amazing if you guys played that on the next Chickenfoot world tour!

Also, ever since I heard of Chickenfoot, I started loving all your guys's solo stuff including yours. Your a hell of a guitarist Joe!!

Your Loyal Fan, Dan Howard \,,/

Hey again Joe,

Listen, Im doing a concert with my guitar teacher, his band, and all his other students on May 23, 2010. Im gonna be playin three songs and I was wondering if you wanted to come wand watch me play. It's gonna be at Bogarts Nightclub in Apple Valley, MN. I know your probably busy but it would mean a lot if one of my idols could come and watch me play. But if you cant come, its ok.

Happy Mother's Day, moms! Hope you all have a great day today. And Joe, thoughts of you this holiday...I hope you/your siblings are able to spend today thinking of the many wonderful memories of you all and your mom over the years.

Can anyone think of any good mom-related music for a song of the day? My Kinda Girl is a bit too specific for everyone, and other songs with obvious-looking titles (Pink Floyd's Mother, this is directed at you!) aren't appropriate for the holiday.

Anything?

...Austin...

Well I was browsing the radio last night, and tried Radio 3 as everything else was talking - can't be doing with that ;-),would never play that normally! Anyway, Mike Walker's 'In Two Minds' came on - & I thought I know this song!!! It was nearly exactly the same as 'Killer Bee Bop' from Joe's self titled album! Take a listen In Two Minds Webmaster Jon, can you let Joe know?? Apparently the song came out in 2008. EDIT: just had a quick listen to some other stuff of his & it's NoTHinG like Joe's music LOL. I'm sure it's all a coincidence.

Hiya everybody.......thanks for all the links & stuff, try to keep up on here when I can!

Hope all the Mums have had a great day, I know I did. Iron Man 2 was fantastic, especially since I was treated to the luxury cinema.

Peace - sounds like a wonderful day you had.

Do The Stu - didn't Chrissie Hyne have "Hymn to Her"? I vaguely recall it.

Joe, hope you and ZZ gave Rubina an extra hug, would be great to see some blue when you get a chance.

Can't help myself....

My lil mum at dinner tonight

and not to be forgotten, my dad :)

We had a lovely afternoon and dinner together, my mom and I watched Terminator 3, LOL....and then my dad joined us for a visit and dinner and some kitty time :)

Thanks Chad, for the good wishes for me and Chris. I was pretty bummed over missing Nickelback, but maybe next time. How's our lil Loganberry doing?

Happy Mother's Day to all you Moms, Grandmas, Aunts. Stepmoms, and all you ladies out there.

Joe: Happy Mother's Day to Rubina and too your late Mom. Prayers to y'all.

I ran the Indy-Mini last Saturday and my (unofficial time) was 1 hour, 24 minutes, and 30 seconds for the half-marathon. That's 5 and a half minutes faster than last year. I not only received a medal for finishing, I also finished in the top 500 and received an extra medal for that. I'll find out my official time & placing soon.

I also worked Mother's Day Buffet earlier today, and we had a little over 650 people coming out to eat, including my folks. Glad that's another holiday buffet (out of the way).

Cheese101: Great pics.

BTW, I've listened to Super Colossal (a number of times), and enjoyed every song on there, especially Crowd Chant. That was probably a motivational song for me before that Indy-Mini run. Next up: Satriani Live.

Best to you all.

I have always been a big fan of super colossal. There is some great work there. I think you'll really enjoy Live 2006. The version of Circles on this one is my favorite version ever.

I woke up this morning crazing an In N Out burger! Crazy. i haven't had one since 1988!! How funny.

Hey everybody!! Haven't posted in about a week or so. I saw Iron Man 2 on Friday and it was pretty good. Wasn't as good as the first one (in my opinion), but I'm not going to say why. I'm not a spoiler. lol But that doesn't mean it was bad by any means. The special effects were as good as flawless as always. After I saw the movie with my uncle, we went to a bar and they had an Internet Jukebox. Of course I had to look for Joe and they had MOST of his songs. They were missing about maybe 10. But I played the Live version of Big Bad Moon. It was only one dollar which was very worth it. I wanted to play Summer Song also, but more people started coming in and it got too loud. I could barely hear the music after around 11:30.

DESPERATELY waiting for a release date on the Ice 9 pedal. If somebody knows please tell the world.

I'm kinda hanging in limbo this month. Waiting for school to end but still have over a month to wait. Waiting for a job at Target. It's been two weeks and no response. Whatever. I'm just counting these boring days going by. sigh. GOD!!! GIVE ME STRENGTH!!!

I'm catching up on weekend stuff...

Satriella - Interesting, about the Satch ripoff in The Rocker. I haven't seen the movie, though...can you give any more hints so someone like me can find the song without actually watching the movie? Probably not, but I thought I'd try... ;-)
Mystical Robot - How did your finals go?
chojuaniche - Sorry to hear that...I remember seeing your juggling video a long time ago and liking it a lot.
cheese101 - "Don't ferget Australia on yer swing through Europe!"

I agree on Australia, but "on yer swing through Europe!"...? What kind of twisted Satch geography is that? ;-)

BigBunny - "i think a bigger issue for America is the fact that they are owned by China now"

Yeah, that's been a problem going back a few years now. I think it'd be really interesting for the US to cut all ties internationally for a few years...pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan and stop going to Asia for cheap labor/manufacturing. Prices would go up initially, but soon EVERYONE in the US would have a job. I don't think that's a healthy long-term solution, but I think it's always good to shake things up every now and then.

brianclub - Hi... San Diego is a regular stop for Joe, so you should probably be able to get him to sign your guitar(s) after the gig on his next solo tour.
Cappy Steve - Nice Mother's Day music...haha. That's from your personal collection, I assume? :-)
hybes - "I woke up this morning crazing an In N Out burger! Crazy. i haven't had one since 1988!"

I haven't had one since...last month, maybe? Haha...
