Hey, Tracie, ... I'l it post it again ..

Ok,.. quiz -- Who said "Our music is like licorice, ..some people like licorice and then some people love licorice .. we have lots and lots of licorice lovers"..

Always reminds me of Satch Music, devoted fans and lovers of 'licorice' .. Couple days, I'll post the answer. I would suspect many (not too many) would know this answer..

Falls off chair* ... hits floor. ouch.

OO OO OOOOO!!!! *Raises hand, waits fer JR to call on me....*

Jerry Garcia from the Grateful Dead??? I's awake better now, LOL....izat right?

Millie, I dunno about our attitude about Joe-shows, all I know is...we just love him to pieces, love his music and are willing to stand in rain or heat fer hours and hours in the hopes of being able to see once we get inside, lol! In my book, you just gotta be as close as you can to enjoy, and you don't gotta be drunk to enjoy either. I can't quite fathom why so many peeps go to shows, get loaded in one way or another, and then won't remember a thing about it the next day. Makes NO sense to me. Plus they usually mess it up for those who are sober around them. Guess that's part of rock n roll, lol!

You and Steve could take lawn chairs to sit in, if you ever want to try a longer line-wait. You just hafta schlep the chairs back to your car before the doors open. We're gonna be doing that for the Tahoe Chickenfoot show for sure, and a cooler too...and a LOT more sunscreen!!

You know a US tour is coming late this year, so start saving yer pennies now so you can catch a San Fran show...it's gonna be FANTASTIC!!

Cheese101-Tracie, I agree about the getting loaded part. I went to the Aerosmith Pump show back then and was drunk going in, I had a headache and was burned out by shows end. Plus I don't remember anything about it. Joe's shows on the other hand I've been sober to each of the shows I've seen and I can still remember most of them.

Thankx Scubadaz!: I may never understand fully, but your description was the best so far. I still don't understand how light can only go one speed, but can be traveling in "Squared" fashion = to energy. One day some one will come out with a conventional description for the rest of us. Does it mean that similar equations could result from the other light frequencies? Emagine what that may mean to science. Cool enough. I like Joes "Speed of light" also.

E=mc^2 is a mass/energy equivalence formula, not the amount of "Energy" required to reach the speed of light (which is impossible BTW). Example, if you take a pencil and convert it to pure energy, you'd have to multiply the mass of the pencil by the speed of light squared, which would yield an enormous amount of energy. Nuclear weapons and stars are examples of this equation.

Also, a car cannot reach the speed of light. it can only go 99.99 percent, therefore you can shine a headlight.

It's been awhile since i took physics but this is what I remember.

JR, I hear New Hope is a cool place to be. Lots of cool shops and whatnot. She's slooowly going west, eh? lol! An Irish band? LOL! Of all things! Sounds like good fun, especially with a mandolin. lol! Graduation time here. This week will be buzzing with activity. Can't believe my baby will be a "college kid" in 2 months. I'm not that old brother!! lol! So glad yer out of the Jersey grind. As for the licorice quote - lol - that could be just about anyone. Just read T's answer J. Garcia, and I was thinking it might be him cause yer such a fan, but I'll go for...um... well, if it was rum instead of licorice it could be Keith Richards... um...and if it was cocaine instead of licorice, it could be...Keith Richards... um... either way, I'm guessing it's not Keith Richards. lol!

Jayzus, major headache today. I wish I could unscrew my head, and put it on the shelf...

Anybody having a bad day?

This has me smiling from ear to ear!! CHECK IT!!

OMG chelle, yer bringing back fantastic memories now!! U know we were at THAT show!! WOO WOO!!! So much fun, that tour, An Evening With Joe...

Can't help myself, THISis what Joe came out and started with, blasted into the audience first song, it was EPIC!!

And at 3:58, lil Chris shows in the audience, lol! Right at the stage there's a lady in a red shirt, and then left of her a man in a light colored shirt, then two guys next to him in black tee shirts, then Chris's lil blonde head and face, LOL! I was right behind him, and Austin was right behind me I think, standing next to Patricia from England. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!!! And then turned around and did it all again in Ventura the next night....

Thanks fer the memories honey :) Great song, and great request of Joe, hope he sees it and can do it live again! It was also great to see the rest of the guys in the band, I've MISSED them!! Jeff's dimples need their own zip code, LOL!!

Pip - having a fab day thanks for asking. Been away for the weekend with a big group of friends and had a ball. Came home and checked email etc and found out a sneaky friend of mine had done something cool and wonderful. He deserved it cos he recently had some numpty bad luck. I'm waiting for a full report and pics of the experience, can't wait to hear.

Glitzy another fab run buddy, even if you missed by a smidge it was impressive.

June 6th, 1944- D-Day. Invasion On Normandy. Omaha Beach

It is the 66th anniversary of D-Day. On this day many soldiers lost their lives almost immediately as they landed on the beach. Take a moment of silence to comemmorate the brave souls who gave their life to save ours. Keep them in our prayers. God Bless Them.
