Hello Joe, As you can see in my name, I'm Italian and not so young. I apologize to you and all of the news group if my English is not correct. I love all music in general, but I love Rock and your particular way to play. I hope someday you'll be playing in Italy ... I'll be your first fan.

June 6th, 1944- D-Day. Invasion On Normandy. Omaha Beach

It is the 66th anniversary of D-Day. On this day many soldiers lost their lives almost immediately as they landed on the beach. Take a moment of silence to comemmorate the brave souls who gave their life to save ours. Keep them in our prayers. God Bless Them.

Almost forgot. I hope you do well recording today, Joe. Hope it goes smoothly. I've only been a Satch Fan for a little over a year and a half and this is the first recording I've been conscious of. May not seem like a big deal, but it is a momentous occasion for me. :)

There is beautiful music being played today as we speak and we don't even know what it sounds like.

My 100th post!!! Another momentous occasion!!

Hi 5 ox. Welcome to the big time. LOL!

I remember jumping on board during the self titled cd, but it was already out. The first one I was on pins and needles waiting for and going through the recording process with Joe & T2J was Crystal Planet. I wasn't disappointed when that was released! lol Damn good stuff on that cd! ! Hadn't realized that was Joe's 10th release till now. Glad yer jumping in at #24. lol!! I remember Joe telling us that ZZ was a big part of naming some of the songs - like A Piece Of Liquid. I guess CP is one of my top Satch albums. I use HFOB, Psycho Monkey, & Time for peoples ringtones on my cell. lol!

Oxley11: Congrats on reaching 100 posts. I'm also looking forward to Joe's/Chickenfoot's next project and material. Great vid you posted on meeting Joe and getting your Big Bad Wah Pedal signed.

Happy 50th Birthday Steve Vai.

The running legs/body is getting better since the marathon yesterday. I walked a half mile to our minor league baseball field and met up with a couple of friends to watch our team win, and walked back home so I'm sure I'll be running again in the next day or two. Even though I didn't get my Marathon time, word has it that I still have a chance to do Boston and even Chicago & New York next year in 2011. Those around that area, I might be heading your way next year.

Time to get some cleaning done and it's back to work in the morning. TTYL.

Grant

I didn't know it was Steve's birthday today. There's a lot of stuff happenin' today. Happy Birthday Steve!!

It's interesting. I've been listening to Steve lately more than Joe. Probably because we're waiting for the new album to come out. I been listening to "Bad Horsie" and " I Know You're Here" and "Boston Rain" and I'm The Hell Outta Here" Ever since I got the G3 Live In Denver.

Don't worry Joe, he won't take your place. lol

Liquidguitar: Thankx, but I still can't get it. It's a brain damage thing. Never made it past x's. Just an abnormal psycology traight. Good thinking though. I'm sure there are those out there who are much more qualified to figure it all out. Trying to survive a black hole is crazy, it would be better to invert matter than to try to survive that. I saw a commercial where a girl goes to a vending machine and it has H3O bottles in it.?????!!!!!! Is'nt that hard water! Radioactive water in a vending machine?????

OMG! Happy birthday, Steve Vai!!! Has it really been 50 years? Wow!

Peace Lily--Thank you for the lovely irises. Very pleasant to look at. And my Steve is doing ok today.

Joe---What has happened to my family of origin? My mom doesn't care if I'm alive or dead.....she told me recently and she forgets my name very easily. She took on a huge truckload of responsibility back when my older sis and I were teenagers......I was about to move into my boyfriend's bedroom! And my older sis stated very clearly that she didn't have a place in the family anymore because foster kids were moving in and turning the house upside down! Well, my dad JOE came to the rescue by having a talk with my mom something about taking the 3 of us girls and moving out so mom could have the foster kids (who were all important) to herself if that was what she wanted. Soon, things began to change, the mean and angry foster kids were given over to the social worker and went back to county social services within 2 weeks. Things started to settle down, but I don't think my older sis and I were ever the same.

Joe, the father to the rescue to keep the Fidler family together! Decades later....Joe Satriani, the brother/musician to the rescue of heart and soul and helping me put pieces of myself back together.......Thank you, Joe :-)

Now I'm wondering why my older sis, who is supposed to be one of my best friends has virtually shut everyone of importance out of her life........She is 58, unemployed due to a layoff last year and doesn't care if she gets another job.......talks to me very flippantly about maybe taking the train down to visit Steve and me OR maybe not depending on if WE could be in sync with her late hours of sleeping from 3 a.m to NOON or 1 p.m. Steve says she needs to be in sync with our hours 10 p.m. to 6ish/7ish for me and 9 p.m. to 5ish a.m. for him and I agree........Argghhh!!! My married younger sister has been saddled with the garganuan task of giving employees in her district layoff notices because her boss the Superintendant doesn't want to do it! Lazy feck!!! And one of my nephew's wrestling team mates was murdered on his street in Merced because another teenager had a handgun and felt he needed it to protect himself from drug dealers nearby! What the hell is going on........did I miss something somewhere? I want my family back! * Sits down and weeps! my Steve nearby to hold my hand*
