hybes - I can't link (too much trouble) but type in sunspot and there are some links. It's on AOL and some other site. Very cool.

I was thinking of you and my cousins Mike. They used to think I would fall into a crack out here on the ring of fire.

Evening all....

jcila - what you've done is cool, but don't think the original is missing anything

Blue Moon - I am completely with you on number 8. Although maybe a little too light a punishment. Will it get regular updates?

Michelle - ok, because I'm not paying attention, where'd Zakk Wylde go as far as Ozzy's lineup?

Peace - I've missed your post about Dad but good vibes coming your way! Nice link

edited to throw in a 5 minute time waste on geography

Anyone else see that tennis match that isn't finished yet, in the 5th set, 59 games all..... woah!

Pip- I linked an interview a day ago - I don't think Ozzy said anything about Zack in it unless it is in the full interview in INKED Magazine. Pretty good interview...I like Bryan Reesman's interviews.....he's done a couple interviews with Joe too......

Edit- Thanx for good vibes for my dad, too......... :-)

THE remains of 72 people killed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks have been found nine years after the atrocity.

Officials in New York said human bones were discovered during an extensive search of Ground Zero,

Nearly 3,000 people were killed when al-Qaida suicide bombers flew two jet planes into the World Trade Center’s twin towers.

Workers digging since April filled two trucks with bones after sifting through 800 cubic yards of debris found underneath the roads in Manhattan.

Major construction work was needed to make the areas accessible so workers could begin their grisly search. The New York Medical Examiner’s Office said 37 of the bodies had been found in West Street, a road to the west of Ground Zero.

The office said DNA testing was likely to identify some of the remains, given the size and condition of bone fragments from the victims.

Around 1,000 of the dead from the attacks on September 11, 2001, have yet to be identified.

Searches have so far uncovered 1,800 bodies. The latest discovery comes as plans for a performing arts centre at Ground Zero begin to take shape.

In May, a New York City community board also controversially voted in favour of a plan to build a mosque and cultural centre near the site.

Conservative activists and families of the victims of the 9/11 attacks have objected to the plans.

Meanwhile, lawyers for thousands of emergency workers who responded to the attacks were in court in New York battling for compensation.

Some 10,000 police officers, firefighters and construction workers are suing the city over their exposure to toxic ash caused by the collapse of the towers.

The expected settlement is thought to be around £480m.

Chelle - that is sad. Last week I was working at a school and a couple of kids found some 9/11 footage and were pointing it out to all their freinds... but didn't really understand. Difficult to explain

Skip - how did your team do in the end? We scraped through really....

further confirmation that I can't type for toffees

Pip - yes methinks a few snaps are missing.........but these are lovely thank you. If you took away the fog SF looks alot like Melbourne, same city buidlings, the trams, the bay, but of course we don't got those hills!!! I remember trudging up a few when I was there - phew! I stayed in the Tenderloin district, which area were you in - city centre by the look of it?

edit.....sorry just saw your other comment - sadly the Socceroos are not through to the round of 16, unlike England, (well done!) we played a ripper match and won 2-1 wtih Al cheering in Ireland, Axeshredder and Glitzy in the USA and me in Melbourne but it wasn't enough goals to get 2nd spot in the group so we landed 3rd in the group. Stuffing up the first match against Germany did us in with the goal difference.

It was chaos at 5:00am I tell you, tweeting Al and others, switching to the Germany-Ghana game and switching to Wimbledon with that incredible 5-setter, I'm exhausted!

Cheese - birthday hugs for your Mum, we got Mr Skippy's Mum's 72nd birthday party at our house this weekend, she is just gorgeous.

I'll cross fingers and anything else for Chris's tests.

You goin to the Palm Springs Foot show?

Cheese - vibes to you & Chrispy

Peace Lilly - teasers? You must have been mega observant as I missed it ;-b lol To what teaser is one referring?

Skip - the harbour reminded me a lot of Freemantle, and the trams obv Melbourne. Tenderloin huh... nice! Is listed as just off Union square but is probably smack in the middle between the square and tenderloin

Sounds like you had a busy morning (?). Your team was just unlucky and we were sorta lucky

@Peace Lily- That is very interesting. Music played by the sun. And notice how the professor says it's "strangely beautiful". And "strange beautiful" were the words expressed in Hendrix's song "Third Stone From The Sun".

Those two words also inspired other titles as we all know.

Steve Miller says new album takes him back to music he grew up with

An excerpt from the interview

Lots of lead guitar and cool guitar parts have been worked out. It just got better and better and better as we worked on it," he said. Indeed, one of the guest artists on the album is renowned guitarist and 15-time Grammy nominee Joe Satriani, who trades solos with Miller on "Rock Me Baby" and Vaughan's "Sweet Soul Vibe."

"He just plays beautifully," said Miller about his fellow guitarist. "It blows your mind when you hear him. He is a monster guitarist -- a wonderful musician."

:-D

HEY EVERYBODY!!!

I found the funniest video on Youtube. It's a G3 Soundcheck with Joe, Steve, and John. Except somebody dubbed the voices and it is ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS!!!! It's great for a laugh. I've already watched three times.
