Joe, who's going to be in your touring band? Mike K is going to be playing with Vai on Oct 22/23 in the Netherlands. Maybe Steve and Mike can come jam with you in Paris before they head back to the U.S.

Looking forward to your U.S. tour and coming to San Diego. Hopefully, you'll get booked at "4th and B" and not the HoB.

Happy National Doughnut Day everybody!!!! Grab a couple of free donuts at Krispy Kreme or Dunkin' Donuts! Or if you live in Canada, it's at Tim Horton's. (Except Dunkin' Donuts likes to rip people off and make you buy a friggin' drink to get the free donuts.) Got some great Garfield comic strips to how much he loves doughnuts.

@turbo236-I didn't even know Joe made that type of guitar. Why the hell, would you want to sell that?! I mean, I've seen the 10th anniversary Chrome JS Guitars, but I didn't even know the Crystal Planet guitar existed. Holy Crap!!! I want one so bad!!! Crystal Planet is my favorite album!!!

I'm heading to the studio in one month to start recording a new solo project with Jeff Campitelli (drums), Allen Whitman (bass) and Mike Keneally (keyboards). The new material is dying to be recorded, and I can't wait to get started. I don't have a title for the project yet, but I will let you know when I figure it out...

Happy Friday, everyone.

Michelle--I stil can't believe I have a girlfriend in Alan McLuni! ;-) I am getting used to the idea.

Hi Uncle Slans--Hope you're doin' well in Barca. There's gotta be some progress on the jobs scene. I keep hoping jobs are very important to most of us people.

Vertical blinds installed this week. It seems like it took ages to get the original draperies to this house replaced! My Steve even painted the living room because he perfected painting walls over the years from when he was a little kid....under the kind guidance of his dad! June is Dad's month.....I still miss my dad....Joe F. Thankfully there are other dads out there named Joe/Joseph.......makes me smile :-D.

Camping just isn't what it used to be ------ My 2 boys want me to set up the tent in the back yard tonight so they can camp out. Which I think is a great idea. But they also want me to take a tv out of their room and hook the xbox up to it so they can play games. sigh.....it's just not like it used to be!

If they knew that you could purchase a wi fi connector for the xbox live they'd be asking for that too! Guess I'll keep that one close to the vest.

happy friday all! hope all is well with everyone.

just realized today that it's been about a year since Chickenfoot's debut album and i have listened to it every day at least once. sometimes more than once a day. still haven't gotten bored with it. sometimes i groove on mikey's bass lines. sometimes banging my head with chad. most of the time visualizing Joe playing and trying to remember so i can try it when i play. it's amazing to me to be so into one group so much. never happened before, but i like it! wonder if i can hang on til 2011 for the new tunes. i'm gonna be like an addict jonesin for the next fix. ROCK ON CHICKENFOOT!!

by the way, Joe have i said thank you for joining these guys!!!

..What Joe talks about here, regarding Arizona SB 1070, is real - very real. It's not about a specific color or race, it's a threat to everyone's civil rights across the board. You can be detained, for no other reason then being unprepared to document who you are. This can be used against anyone, everyone .. I live here in AZ as Joe well knows, the resistance to this bill grows here everyday. The resistance, is also across the board; Local Police, County Sheriff's offices, even some Federal agents see disaster looming if this this allowed to stand. For now, I will raise my voice in disagreement to many state officials. Later, I will vote with my feet if need be. If this stands, your state could be next. This really is not about legal or illegal immigration, it's about standing civil rights - that we have here now, that we may loose in a matter of weeks and days. Sad, yes that a boycott from many different groups is looming or underway. But that pain today could save other states residents from the same fate. I thought of this today, as I mountain biked some miles, without my 'wallet' and only a house key. You must look at the broader implications and not the knee jerk reactions of the extreme edges, all with agendas of course. I enjoyed ChickenFoot in Phoenix last year, ... if I have to miss something to make a point, sign me up. I live here. I like it here. I want to stay here, as free as I was a year ago. Not too much to ask i think.

Scubadaz: Okay , that means 186,000 x 186,000? or squared which is x4? for logic, there is not much very logical about it. No such nuber couldbe generated by any beings out there let alone US. But the idea was light can only travel at 186,000 mph, right? Then how can light = energy at squared speed of light? Where is the extra speed coming from? Never mind, I'll never figure it out or even be able to understand if'in' some one does. Worth the question though.

Tracie, ... Sounds good...NV so close .. Not a huge fan of Vegas, .. but for Joe Satriani show, ...worth standing in snow in yer' socks. eh? So how many people saw JUNE Guitar Player where Joe won 'Best Rock Guitarist'? ..

Not my imagination Joe. I'm not much for good-better-best, too subjective. .. Joy is never subjective.

Cheese - moi?? A tease... nah! Some friends of ours from SF were telling me it's a definite summer thing. Rolls in in the morning, clears out during the day, then rolls out again at night.... and it's true to form ;-)

...and I'm still in another fog....

Oxley11 - I heard that thismorning I think (about the doughnuts). But I've been a good boy and left them alone lol

Do The Stu - prompted by food thoughts, Mrs Pip thanks my american freinds for their recommendation of burger joint. In & Out is a winner... I just need them to add a Chicken burger

Don1963 - it's also almost a year since Chad nearly decaptitated Sammy with a floor tom... rock & roll

NJBeast - I was just taking the mick... just a little joke with T (see above). I'll post a pic and you can see for yourself. It's quite creepy... just like something from a movie!

So with that said, time to see if I can go do some stuff I should be doing.... hope everyone's good

Hey there, first time posting anything here. I'm not the biggest fan of foras but this time I decided to join as I could finally get the Club Joe pacakge, this time in Amsterdam (no gigs in Poland?). Joe, my story with your music starts somwhere in 1988-1990 when I was drumming myself but was very much into rock and metal guitars. We used to sit with my two guitar friends in the evening and start listening to the US rock. Thank God there was MTV so we were able to see, not only to hear. That's more or less the time we saw David Lee Roth's clip 'Yankee Rose' with Steve Vai. We were completely stunned asking how on Earth he could play like that. A couple of beers didn't help understand the matter either. So, later I started searching for some info on Steve and I found out that there was a guy called Joe Satriani who used to give lessons to that out-of-this-world Steve Vai. All right, that meant that this Joe guy must be even bigger! So, the upcoming years meant lots of CD purchases: first 'Passion & Warefare' which I found amazing. One of my guitar players spent all of his money to buy himself a JAM and ZOOM multieffect. It was great! Then I started buying your records: 'Flying...', which my girlfriend (today's wife) loved because of some special situations we had during listening to 'I believe' and she remembers it (the situation) even today, after 20 years. Then I wanted to explore more and bought the rest 'Surfing...', 'Not of this Earth' and then came the rest of your albums. So it's been over 20 years of listening to JS. I was at your gigs in Warsaw 8 years ago, Helsinki with 3G 3 years ago and now I'm thrilled to see Amsterdam show in October. Hope to talk to you then. Cheers Michal

I would be thrilled if my State would be the next in line to pass a law similar to what Arizona has just done. I never leave my property without wallet (driver's license, military ID, etc.), but if there were a law here similar to what there will be next month in Arizona, or if I find myself traveling in Arizona, I would not be afraid to travel without any form of ID because I have something no illegal alien does; a social security number. I do not recall reading anywhere in SB 1070 that the verification of a person's status in the country has to be done by any certain form of ID. I certainly don't think it is good practice to go anywhere without any form of ID, regardless of any law. That's just 7 years of the military coming out of me, but there's no reason your SSN can't be used to verify you if you get caught without ID, which, according to the law, law enforcement must have reasonable suspicion that you are in the country illegally in the first place before they even try to verify your status... which they will have already asked for your ID because you have already committed some kind of crime for them to have come after you in the first place.

Anyway... I was glad to see that the Governor and the Pres. had their little meeting about the border issue.

Sorry if none of that made any sense.. I'm absolutely exhausted. I see all the red lines under my mistakes but I don't care to fix them, I need to go to bed!

Ian

Scubadaz: in the formula what units do you use because you would get different answers if you used km/h or m/h and lb's instead of kg. Also the total energy required is in what unit. Joules or KJ or something else.

Hope everyone is ok Bob Cliffe

Ahhhh JR, u just have to understand how devoted Chris and I are to seeing Joe, LOL! If it meant standing in snow in our socks well....I'd find a way, lol!! But yeah, other than that, we do spend hours and hours in line to get as close to the stage as we can or we won't see a thing with all the "tree people" that tend to be there :) I guess Vegas would be the closest for you....whenever I say Nevada I'm thinking Reno in my head. But we could do Vegas too or instead of Reno. A Joe-show is worth it's weight in gold as far as we're concerned...he's our BEST vacation, LOL! Hope to see you there one day!

What's the answer to your riddle? I'm technically and actually not awake yet, lol!!

As to you pipster, sneaky sneaky....no one's caught up yet but they will :D Still in a "fog"? Bet it's a man-made one, LOL!!! Ohhh I kill myself!! Enjoy yer day today, both ya's!
