Although I have been playing and practicing a ton these past 5 years, trying to get a band together seems almost impossible since I have a day job. I record and play against virtual drummers....but really want to capture the vibe of playing live and loud. Being in my early 40's, I don't hang out at clubs that much anymore and I don't have time for the BS. Although people tell me that I am good guitar player, I am far from it...and always have way more to learn - How would you recommend I explore playing with other musicians? Ad in a local music mag? Craigslist?

OMG I dont believe it. I've had my drums for three days and the bass is already broken. Its a good thing I got the 2 year extended warranty because I am gonna need every day of it if it breaks every few days.

Check out this first model for Royal Underground. She looks like she could kick my daddy's ass! lol! She rocks that outfit too. Lots of cool jackets in that line for guys and girls.
Back to work tomorrow. I'm dreading it since my job is pretty physical. Just for shits and giggles I measured the opening between my teeth. I can only open my mouth a 1/2 inch. I'm reeeeally trying to be hopeful for Tuesday, but I have the feeling they're gonna make me wait longer. Gotta call them tomorrow and see what's up. The saga continues.

Oh well...no surprises there then...I never win anything...I could hvae pretended to be an octupus and told you that Netherlands and Germany were not going to win the world cup when they first drew the sweepstake at work...
Was gonna get a CD player for my car if I had won...only got a tape player at the moment...and I only got about 6 tapes to my name!

yeah i saw the buffett show. pretty flipping cool. funny how not many other musicians are doing anything for the people down there. that stuff may eventually find it way to my area waters and beaches.

Tikimon - Ya, that was a cool show. There is nothing like some Buffett!! It is a shame that the stars are not out in force raising money for the victims down there. It seems like perhaps many do not realize how serious the devestation is because buildings haven't crumbled or flooded.
Michelle - 642!!!???? Ouch!! Is that after insurance? At least the pain will be gone.

yep hybes. it is a wonder that no 1 else is going off about this. here are some interesting facts about the "spill".

Nalco, maker of Corexit, the toxic chemical being sprayed by BP has controlling interests co-owned by Al Gore, George Soros, Barack Obama and others (public record). SECURITY – OR SECRECY – STRATEGIES: – BP sealed off the area from all outside access – and instituted a complete media blackout ((Why? – only those that have something to hide do their deeds in secret): 1. BP hires Goons, UN Troops and Gulf Police to patrol the waters and coastline, forcing a ‘lockdown’ and blackout on any public scrutiny, under threat of arrest. (Why?) 2. Reporters and anyone caught talking to reporters is threatened with immediate arrest. Coastal residents are in a state of fear, not from the oil, but from BP Goons.(Why?) 3. The entire area is decreed a ‘no-fly zone’. (Why?) 4. BP has full control of all released data. No independent scientists or other professionals are allowed access to data that is not first ‘filtered’ through.

tikimon- Thanks for sharing the info........the circumstances stink & it's not just BP. Terribly disheartening.
Glitzman- That's cool you can combine family stuff with your runs...good luck to you on both. My family is good 'cept my dad. 53 radiation treatments and he still has some growth's in his lymph nodes under his arm. Radiation has bought him some time but the surgeon won't remove the remaining problem because he said it will spread it through his body. He has to take a break from radiation- so Mom & dad are taking a trip for a few weeks. I hope his energy stays good so they can have some fun..........
We are having a dirty ugly sand storm...ugh.... the wind is blowing so hard and you can't even open your mouth outside 'cause you will be crunchin sand if you do . Hope it stops soon before wrecks start happening on the free-way , we've had some bad pile ups in the past.

NOT!.hEY BRO IM JUST CHILLIN ALMOST DUE FOR A HAIRCUT !.dID some rideing today had the old t,nt fired up the can-am 250 did the womaizer thing heavey on the NIZER! I been sick real man had some wicket soer throat the other night man bit of a head cold now it,s gone dont know one night thing man WEIRD!The old tnt is smokey man think the mix is too rich in the tank plu,s shes oil injected still works beautiful though.This place where i live is jamm packed like flaked light tuna in a can buddy school,s out the cottagers are here until september .finaly the weather broke fouck man it was 36 degrees here for about 6 days or so!24 degrees here today .have to watch for bears in the back dont know man it looks like this huge bore or huge sow bear was in my backyard beaten down the wild rasberries man oh yeah this time of year they have babeie bears to hey! there`s realy nothing for me to do just go talk to you thats all the girl next door left her place jenny my daughetrs mom left her place this moring in an ambulance she did that before to kidney stones or my cock was too big for her again she always try,s to handle the fucks though good woman anyways later wolfinator.
