For the first time since 1994, I have no kids in this school district. lol! What a trip! My son's graduation was amazing! The best part about it of course was my son graduating, but equally the best part was that he had 4 grandparents there to watch him. My gratitude to the powers that be for letting that happen are immeasurable. Count yer blessings when ya can peeps! My mom is 76 and not in the best of health, but she took her insulin early, drank some oj and had a snack outside while we waited in the crowd of thousands (I kid you not! - we shut down the street) afterward to search for my son, and then came back to my house where she made us laugh so hard by putting on my son's cap & gown & posing for pics with his diploma - absolutely priceless man. The cap & gown drown her beings that me mum is about 5'2 and my son is 5' 10. The damn thing was hitting the floor, and hung way down past her fingertips. lol! She's a gem for sure!

Such a fantastic day. I'm going to bed feeling truly blessed.

I'm 20, started liking rockmusic at 17, picked up the guitar at 17, have been playing for hours everyday, a few months ago i bumped into a youtube clip of joe satriani, since then he is my biggest hero!

Are there maybe other guitarists here who could give me some pointers? i have a few youtubeclips to show how far i have gotten. Or maybe Joe himself could give me some pointers O.O.

By the way: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TEACHING KIRK HAMMETT, seeing him live is what made me pick up the guitar in the first place

JR, even with all her health problems and the way she's slowed down, she can still turn up the juice and bring a room to their knees. She kept thanking me for helping her through the night with walking and stairs and making sure she was okay - like it was an option. Never. It's just what you do, it's born in, and there's no other way to be. She's a peach and a pistol for sure.

How long are you going to be on a break from Chickenfoot? I read on Chickenfoot.us that Chickenfoot is taking some time off, I know Chad is recording with the Chilli Peppers, but what is Mike and Sammy going to be doing? I also know that you are going to be going back to your solo tour... is that going to be forever. Are you going to be Chickenfoot anymore! If you go on a solo tour I hope you set up a show in NY...cause I really want to see you in concert and get the chance of a life time to meet you! As you knowfrom my other posts my ultimate dream is to become the first girl guitarist to play at your leval... is there any tips and pointers about equitment and other things you can give me to become a better guitaist???

Black Country Communion is the new side-project Joe Bonamassa is in with Glen Hughes, Jason Bonham, & Derek Sherinian. It's supposed to be ol' school rock. CD is due out in September. I'm REALLY looking forward to this. Hope be be able to catch a show when they tour.
