Blue Moon - I thought that was you in the kayak!! Glad it wasn't....

Peace - lovely vid of Tarja and great to hear the distinctive sound of Joe on her song.

Joe - condolences on the passing of your high school music teacher, I've read lots of articles where you talk about him. He sounds like a gifted teacher, which you seem to be too.

Michelle - I don't think he'd have forgiven you if you hadn't posted that. Probably would have taken you for a ride in his Kayak :-b

Peace Lily - thanks for the vid

Blue Moon - Matt is your dentist! Skip thought you were doing your Justin Hawkins impression in the Kayak

Cheese - "man goodies" huh... l m a o.... shoulda been an edit there

Minimoog - how's about this one?

Thirdharmonic - are you asking about the setup on the electrics or the JSA?Electrics are normally 9's & low, but has recently been 10's (Chickenfoot and on). Also ran a higher action recently (last month the setup was not as low as normal, but couldn't say if that was just for rehearsing the new album

MikesB - definitely wow. I recognise the name, but it's not because of Guitar Idol 09. Can't think why though

Skippy - wow, that's a compliment and a half... but that guy can actually play. You want the cheque in $AU or GBP lol?

Sorry to hear of your loss, Joe. You mentioned him a couple times in interviews. I remember you saying in one interview that he was the first person to introduce you the modes and see your true potential as an aspiring musician.

It's always sad when a skilled musician passes on. It's like a small piece of music that just disappears from the earth. Like they take it with them.

He will be missed. R.I.P- Bill Wescott

@Peace Lily- You can always tell when it's Joe playing a solo. :) I also heard a couple of Satch Screams too, which gives it away a little.

Scubadaz: so forgive my ignorance (Im still just learning this stuff) when you talk about intonation you mean ensuring that the tone on the open string is the same as on the 12th fret?

Pip55: yeah, That's a pretty slick instrument. A little intimidating for a n00B like me..LOL

okay I did a little JS20S demo on Utube. It's not very good because I'm still learning, but I know a little Joe....just a little

Hi Everyone:

Last Saturday, I did three runs: Ran the 10K Race in 39 minutes 12 seconds, and finished 8th out of about 150; plus finishing 1st in my age division. i also did the 5K but I used that as a cool down run. Those runs were in the morning, and I did my third in the evening. I also ran another 5K (on the track) in around 19 minutes and finished 17th out of about 25. It was sort of like the battle of the best for that 5K.

Been busy with the usual: work & running. Hope everyone is well.

Axeshredder, Skippygirl, Distorted Soul, Cheese101, Pip55, Peace Lily, Michelle, Oxley11, scubadaz, dream3, Blue_Moon, Grampy Steve, & everyone: HOLLA! \m/

Joe, sorry to hear about the passing of your teacher Bill Westcott. Prayers to the family.

Grant
