Hello everybody.
How is everything going?
I'm going to play four songs here tomorrow with my school band live. I'm really exited as usual. I love playing live :P

Here's some of my newest speculations about light, the universe and everything. If you don't have any knowledge in space/physics, then it's probably nothing for you :P:

Is it really impossible to travel faster than light?
Have a great time!
- Mark Railton

the reason why nobody knows whether you can travel at the speed of light is because nobody has ever seen it happen.

his equation e=mc2 is wrong. they do not equal, but it is that what makes the "unravelling of matter" at a atomic level i.e. chain reaction. theory of light? don't have a way to check that one. but if you were driving in your car at the speed of light, would your headlights work?

the real MAD Scientist: but if you were driving in your car at the speed of light, would your headlights work?
Yes they would. This has been copyed from Nasa's Ask an Astrophysicist:
The speed of light is always the same (specifically, 300000 km/s) to all observers , regardless of the speed of the observer or the light emitter (in this case, the lamp in the car). So even if you are traveling at 150000 km/s, a beam of light would still pass you going 300000 km/s or approach you going 300000 km/s. What happens is that as you travel faster and approach the speed of light, distances shorten and time slows down so that light still travels at 300000 km/s relative to you. This is not just a theory... these effects have been observed in experiments

Do the StU: Happy birthday dude, I know it's a little late,, but I was busy these days...cheers

Hybes: every country has the freedom to make their own laws, . Mexican government don't give a damn, they just suppot the rich mexican people, the millionaires, the big industries, . The government is trying to sell PEMEX ( mexical oil) to a mexican billionaire, if they sell PEMEX, then 50% of all mexican would come to the USA to search for a better life...The problem is the mexican government, not the mexican citizens, not USA or mexican borders....

Joe: It's good to have Mike Keneally on your band, . I imagine a prog vibe into your new record...

Railton: Mark, I'm math blind, but it occurs to me that E=mc2 talks about the speed of light squared! Is'nt that twice the speed of light? Then how is it that everyone thinks you can't go any faster that just once? Also, light is a wave frequency, and Einsteins relativity only deals with visible light. Aren't all types of light on their own frequency? How about traveling on different frequency of light? Just keep in mind I thought of this........The ideas you have have meritt. There maybe much more happening in black hole that we can figure from this side of it. keep at it folks......

Punkdude - Completely agree about Mexico. they aren't going out of their way to stop them at the borders. But why would they? It's not the doctors, lawyers, engineers and all the afluent Mexican's who are jumping the border. The people leaving are less of a burden on the Mexican government. The problem is, it's not the responsibility of the United States to make Mexico a better country. It's Mexico's responsiblility to make Mexico a better country. The people who came here illegally need to go home. They broke the law and have to pay.
