its mad money shipping big heavy amps to the uk just not worth it unless its bought within europe, customs tax is a bitch nevermind import duty

vat in ireland is 21.5% ...fun times... actually 20% its .5 less than it was last year, but more crazy taxes were added, lots of green taxes added too, its funny that a nation of 4 million manages to have so many taxes to keep the planet green! ridiculous really

Great White - Your question comes up a lot, but it's been a while since anyone has asked it. So...

Favorite Chickenfoot songs: Learning To Fall and My Kinda Girl. Future In The Past is great too. I love the intro live, when Sammy gets the crowd to chant a bit...that's fun.

Favorite Satch songs (to name a few): Why, The Souls Of Distortion, The Traveler, If I Could Fly, Thinking Of You, Secret Prayer, Time Machine

...Austin...

Randell--Thanks for the great pictures of you and Andy and Joe. Fun times.

Pip--Nice vids and covers. Great to see you and Joe together.

Al--I think Michelle and Fatape are having their own crazy comedy show! And yeah, it's a kid and sometimes a grown up thing. You grew up and still kept some of that kid crazy stuff in your system! :-)

Joe saved my life---Last year at this time I was in Stanford Hospital in the psychatric unit. What a mess I've been! Listening to more of Joe's Strange Beautiful music helped lift me out of a horrible depression. Crystal Planet was my first Satch album. I love it!

I hate how work sucks the life out of yer social time...

and I'm off. tra-la tra-la.

Recently purchased an Ibanez JS2400; very nice guitar and a lot of tonal possibilities with the pickups. Light and easy to play (allows for fast action). Not sure if there are other guitar players on here. Wouldn't mind forwarding a CD of my music to Joe if anyone has contact information in doing so.

I have some interest in the Ice-9 Overdrive pedal by Vox. Currently I have the Saturator distortion pedal, but I'm also running the Big Bad Wah (which gives off some distortion and overdrive/gain) and a Line6 Pod 3 Live, which unit offers distortion and a 'gain' knob. Wondering how much it would be worth adding the Ice-9 to the mix. These items are run through a Mini Colossal amp.

Hey Joe and everyone else!

I wanted to see if the guitar players out there want to talk about their favorite guitars! I own an Ibanez Artist 2617, and I love it. Any other ibanez lovers?

Just in case you need a laugh:

Remember it takes a college degree to fly a plane, but only a high school diploma to fix one; a reassurance to those of us who fly routinely in our jobs.

After every flight, UPS pilots fill out a form, called a 'gripe sheet,' which tells mechanics about problems with the aircraft. The mechanics correct the problems, document their repairs on the form, and then pilots review the gripe sheets before the next flight.

Never let it be said that ground crews lack a sense of humor. Here are some actual maintenance complaints submitted by UPS pilots (marked with a P) and the solutions recorded (marked with an S) by maintenance engineers.

By the way,UPS is the only major airline that has never, ever, had an accident.

P: Left inside main tire almost needs replacement.

S: Almost replaced left inside main tire.

*

P: Test flight OK, except auto-land very rough.

S: Auto-land not installed on this aircraft.

*

P: Something loose in cockpit.

S: Something tightened in cockpit.

*

P: Dead bugs on windshield.

S: Live bugs on back-order.

*

P: Autopilot in altitude-hold mode produces a 200-feet-per-minute descent.

S: Cannot reproduce problem on ground.

*

P: Evidence of leak on right main landing gear.

S: Evidence removed.

*

P: DME volume unbelievably loud.

S: DME volume set to more believable level.

*

P: Friction locks cause throttle levers to stick.

S: That's what friction locks are for.

*

P: IFF inoperative in OFF mode.

S: IFF is always inoperative in OFF mode.

*

P: Suspected crack in windshield.

S: Suspect you're right.

*

P: Number 3 engine missing.

S: Engine found on right wing after brief search.

*

P: Aircraft handles funny. (I love this one!)

S: Aircraft warned to straighten up, fly right and be serious.

*

P: Target radar hums.

S: Reprogrammed target radar with lyrics..

*

P: Mouse in cockpit.

S: Cat installed.

*

And the best one for last

*

P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.

S: Took hammer away from the midget.
