Hello everyone! I'm a new member of the site but have been a fan of Satch since about 1989. I first saw Joe during the Flying in a Blue Dream tour in Dayton and have been a fan ever since.

I picked the name Maladroit because it properly describes how I play guitar after 20 years - all thumbs. The only song by Joe that I can play in its entirety is "A day at the beach." :(

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the Cincinnati show on Dec 7. Oddly the tour date presale link shows that they go on sale on Aug 23 but the Aronoff sales office says that they likely will go on pre-sale on Friday Aug 27.

I'm wondering though - does Joe do any kind of autograph signing outside of the club Joe sessions? I've got a JS20s that I would love to get autographed (I'm picturing it right across the surfboard) but really can't afford a $250 price tag on top of the 5 tickets I'm buying for my family.

Got my hair cut last week. She took about 3 inches off. It feels so light and fluffy now. lol! It's still long, but I do believe it's cut about 5 minutes off my time getting ready in the morning. I haven't been late for work since. LOL!

just was reading through comments and noticed a few folks had some issues with the presale. if you have a moment, it's good to hear details so we can pass them on to the ticketing folks to (hopefully) try to improve upon things next time. so if you had any troubles, please email a description to webmaster@satriani.com with the subject line "PRESALE" and we'll compile them together. include your code since that might also be helpful.

I purchased Joe's new pre-sale CD which includes the code to pre-purchase tickets for some of the upcoming shows. One of them, Dec 7 in Cincinnati, does not have the link in order to purchase the tickets early.

Can't wait for this new album!! Been looking into it and I'm sure there is a lot we fans won't ever understand from it, yet it will be there for us to interpretate in our own way like every other album from Joe.

I'm having similar trouble purchasing tickets for the Dec. 7 Cincinnati show. The presale date says August 23rd (Monday) but as of late Tuesday (August 24th), there is still no way to use the presale code. Hopefully this will get worked out soon.

Everybody who tried to get PRE presale tickets and had a hard time, please write to the Webmaster at the addy in his post to let him know. That PRE presale was an epic fail!

Joe, just wondering how you go about selecting an opening act for your shows? If you are looking for an opening act for your 12 Nov 10 show in Padova, Italy, my 15 year old and his band would be interested - his guitarist did your "Always with me, always with you" at the end of school year concert. Just curious how the process works.

Hi Joe.

I am a bit disappointed that you dont visit Switzerland on your next tour. You have concerts around Switzerland in evey country but switzerland has no date. I wanted to see you so in Paris, Lyon or Köln but with travel and hotel its to expensive for me. Wish you a great time on your tour and i wait for "black swans and wormhole wizards"
