@Flash - LOL! Leave it to Spinal Tap to take a cheap shot at Miles Davis... classic!

@DTS - "kind of"??? Ya think? It's a good kind of crazy though.

"I feel like going out for a drive
Don't know if I'll make it back alive
My head's so heavy, my soul is black..
Lookin' like something that the cat brought back...

I'm goin' crazy...
But it's alright!

I'm goin' crazy...
I think you better hold on tight!"

Has anyone outside the US been able to buy the bonus tracks from Napster? I'm in Canada and doesn't seem to work for me. Dammit, why couldn't they make the tracks available through iTunes as well?! Best buy grumble grumble .....

Thanks for the info from the concert!
It's crazy the list of older songs he's playing, and WHY is absolutely one of my favorites too.
I hadn't been on the board since last night, and just a short while ago I put the Not of This Earth album on after listening to some Dethklok.... quite hilarious considering Hordes of Locusts is on that one, and no joke... about 20 seconds after reading your post, Memories started playing.

I'm really anxious to see which songs from BSAWW will be included.

Joe and the band. Mature and restrained playing, sound is nicely textured, compositions are engaging. Absolutely LOVE the two extra tracks. Can't imagine the disc without them. Huge fan of Mermen, nice touch bringing Allen into the lineup and Mike's keys are "instrumental" in giving the CD the space and texture that will have fans and critics listing Black Swans as one of your best CDs. It should go without saying that you and Jeff are always in sync.

Hey there everyone. CIVGEEK is back in the house! Just wanted to roll in and see what the haps was with the new CD. Off to get mine this afternoon. Really looking forward to it.

Also, I'll be looking for those of you going to the Portland show in Jan. I know Cheesy and Chris will be there with me. Who else? Blue Buffalo?

Been spending a lot more time on the Petrucci forum but will be popping in here much more often now.

How's the chat going these days. Anybody in there lately?

Guess this issue is pretty minor considering I have been able to get the autographed preorder CD (4 days early), and the Best Buy release with bonus tracks on release date, but I just noticed something really strange....

I put the CD w/ bonus tracks in our PS3, and it only recognizes the first 11 tracks... I made sure I had the right CD in... how weird. Oh well.

Pretty thrilled to hear that Joe played (and sang) Big Bad Moon last night.

Is it December yet?
