I wore my flying in a blue dream tour shirt for about 12 years, at which point it quite literally fell apart. The Musterion long sleeve T is holding up nicely so far though. Even after two years the text on the sleeves is perfectly in tact. I half expected it to crumble in the wash.

I'm looking for a Surfing tour shirt for nostalgic purposes now. It'd be cool if the Satriani web site sold older tour shirts and memorabilia. I'd buy one (or 2) of each. :)

Al--Sorry to hear about your cars. Keeping them up can be a lot of pain sometimes. Driving over there can't be that much different than driving here in Cali.

Man, I want to meet yer mom and hug her for what she has been through! I haven't met her and I love her anyway......she also raised you to your present genius and of course, your sis. Now that's a huge part of her life!

Michelle--You're dancing all over this place is amazing (where do ya get all that energy?). Did you get Dave Wiener's CD On Revolute??? I'm lovin' it! Great songs!

GG2 :-)

Sounds like your going for more of the electronica sound on your next album, can't wait! Are you using a distortion box with your wah-wah in God is crying? It almost sounds like you use a bit of accents on the low end frequency's, are you running a frequency analyzer through your wah-wah? im appauled at how you managed to create that driving synth sound, and i'd like to know how it was done. I'd also like to know who your influences are in the techno genre, if you don't mind me asking.

Just got an email from The Chicago Theatre Insider that lists special guests Ned Evett and Triple Double for the Chicago concert.

Ned Evett and Triple Double

From Ned's myspace blog: "My band Ned Evett & Triple Double are heading out on tour with my friend and unwitting mentor Joe Satriani for a huge world tour. Let me essplain some history. I've done a number of shows with Joe as his opening act, starting back in 2002. I started off performing solo on my fretless guitar with a looping pedal, back when that approach was relatively new, and this is how I would cover the Joe gigs until 2008 when I brought a band along for the first time. I like the extra muscle a band gives me, and my new band is truly world class, with Kofi Baker on drums and Doug Lunn on bass."

...and apparently there is also another presale for the Chicago show (not for use with the CD presale code) available tomorrow 10am-10pm, a full day before general public sales start on Friday. Let me know if anyone needs info!

Grampy Steve- Your probably right ....which is a shame....but that's the music biz. i myself used to only listen to the flavour of the moment but I didn't know any better. There is a wealth of talented artists & great music to listen to which is often passed by for the generic.

DistortedSoul, I saw Ned Evett open for Joe I think it was the SBM tour. His singing was ok. His playing on fretless guitar was pretty wild. It's Fretless and the neck is made of glass. Played a pretty wild Hendrix tune.

Ned Evett's 2007 album, Middle of the Middle is really good. The songwriting is outstanding. Ned is a really down to earth guy too. I saw him play a gig at the local record shop in a small college town. There were maybe seven of us there listening. The band almost outnumbered the audience!

Ozzy_fudd: thanks for telling me. Did it ask you to submit the bug report when you next started t2j?

If so, I'm looking at error reports now and will submit an update to apple shortly.

I've also fixed how it hangs up on iPhone 4 when you put it in the background.
