i though id share a ticket issue....got row AA for Nokia Theater NY VIP package which stated within first 5 rows...uh..im 5th row?..thats right...they have have rows AAA -DDD and now the ViP packs are at row 7 though misleading at row CC...these triple ticket seats seem to never be available to anyone and make the whole seating deal a disappointment when you get there...at least im prepared for the worst...i always hated this place, Joe...and dreaded it when i saw the announcement..though because of General Admission deal from the Super Collosal tour there..though reserved now..same bull@#%^deal ..Palace Theater, Beacon Theater were excellent places and much easier to park..:)...and no surprises...except good ones

Hey Joe: Thanks for signing and drawing on my guitar. I took it apart, scraped a lil finish off the body where the neck meets it, and put some good quality wood glue in the seat. Glued it and now it won't wiggle. Like everything that is handled or used alot, the screws work loose a lil and the wood contracts and expands. I have a JS1200 and it's a nice guitar.

Tightening up loose screws seems to be my specialty! lol

Was a great show that I attended a couple of years ago. Hopefully soon, I will see Joe again. He never comes to Alaska. Needs some funding from radio/event sponsor but they have trouble getting seats sold. I know Joe wouldn't have any trouble filling up seats in Alaska. How about everybody kicking in some loot to get him up here? Or pre-sales on tickets to get a kick-start...up the price on each ticket. It's hard to see artists up here, it's like we are another country...but we are USA! Just fly up, put on a show with your guitar. Not much overhead there, and you'll make bank. I'm sure we can find you a local sound system...just a thought.

Just got back from Vacation in Victoria British Columbia. I had the chance to visit the Long & McQuade was checking out a JEM guitar and i asked the dude there if he had any JS models. He said the following..." Yea we did, but Joe Satriani bought it." I said "Yeah right". He said, "No SERIOUSLY, man! We got a call a few weeks ago and it was Joe on the phone asking if we could ship it to Vancouver where he was recording at the time. He gave us his VISA number and everything, it was friggin cool."

That little story made my trip.

Is it true Joe?

michelle BBunny, ya can't go wrong seeing Metallica! U2 I'll never see. Ticketrape just isn't my thing. Same thing is going on here. All the great shows I wanna see are on sale within like, a months time. Got tickets for Disturbed, and now Joe. Just saw that Davy is about 80+ miles from here tonight. Dammit! They just couldn't space it out a bit, could they? lol!

Michelle - MetallicA are my fav. band! >=:) going to 6 concerts, flying to 2 other aussie cities so i've spent some $$$. i got 2 shows in Sept. 2 in Oct. 2 in Nov.

who's Davy?

Satch is my fav. guitarist but i missed Steve's '04 tour through sickness :( is it too much to ask for another OZ G3? with Satch, Vai & Gilbert?

BB -I am probably looking forward to Vai more than Joe for the next tours aswell in a strange way havin never actually seen a Vai solo show only the short setlist from G3
But in saying that Give me an evening with show like the 05 ITLIS tour and i'd miss Vai backstage pass and all :) :) that was one hell of a Setlist and 2 awesome nights of pure joy.

As for G3 maybe they could open for Chickenfoot late 2011 :) i'd prefer they all done solo shows in Oz which by the looks of it Joe will be here early 2011 Vai sometime in 2011 so just need Gilbert to do a solo show which after this cd should have shitloads of material to pick from to do a tour Downunder rather than G3 and get Chickenfoot out here later in the year.

Wishful Thinking but wouldn't that Rock.

Hey Joe,

Please come back to North Carolina soon. Saw you play with Chickenfoot in Charlotte, it was awesome. Huge fan since 1993 -- Time Machine 1st CD I bought. Can't wait for your new album and to added it to my Satriani collection.

Oh man, some days the posts on here totally make my day!!

Fatape, I'd say I might have to agree with the bastard that said all that Gorilla beer gave you Gorilla goggles. LOL!

BBunny, Who's Davy! C'mon wit it!! I love that kid! lol! Besides my 17 yr old Kitty Lumpy who's gone on to the great beyond, Davy is my favorite Manx! lol! The talent this guy has is just sick. He's just a year older than my daughter ffs! His dad looks a bit like Michael Palin from Monty Python. lol! Imagine how proud his dad must be. And just in case anyone doubts the kids chops, he did have this little gig :-)

The doctor said it's only an U.R.I. (upper respiratory infection). Thing is it's knocked me out and I feel like I'm dragging. Coughing and sneezing crud and low grade fever...I want to be well and back to work.....no sick days for a part-timer like me :-( I live on the wrong side of the pond for much in the way of benefits. People say I'm worth much more than every dollar of what little benefits I get........trouble is when I don't believe it or don't want to believe it.

Gotta break through this depression shite!

Joe wouldn't let any of this get him down. And when he is down he has a reservoir to drink from and much inspiration to draw on to bring him through.

Gilded Milli - There's no such thing as free medical care on this side of the pond for the majority of people. In addition to all the other taxes we pay, we have to pay a capped percentage of our wages for something termed National Insurance. This is used to fund the National Health Service, the "free medical care" you allude to. I wonder how you would feel about paying around 6% of your wage all your working life whether you ever got sick or not.

Hey everybody!!! I'm back from my week long vacation from the shore. I recorded the sunrise and I'll upload it on Youtube in 2 or 3 days.

I saw some little treats that Joe might play on the tour. Rubina, Crushing Day, Until We Say Goodbye, A Train Of Angels, Love Thing, Big Bad Moon, and Ceremony would be awesome in the setlist, but it looks a little like the setlist from LIVE IN SAN FRAN.

I didn't know how strongly people felt about Dog With Crown And Earring. The only person I thought that loved that song was michelle. I'll put it on my wishlist for you guys. I wouldn't mind hearing it live either. Searching is a great song, but not for a concert. But S.M.F, HELL YEAH!!!! As you guys know, I haven't been to a concert.........yet.

A couple of months back I posted a comment about if Joe did a concert with all of his "rare, but still excellent" tracks. This was the comment that also included my notice of Joe's lack of ITLIS recognition.

April 13th, 2010- "I wish Joe would do a live concert and have it recorded with all of his tracks that don't have any recorded play time. Here are some good examples. 1.Hordes Of Locusts 2.The Forgotten Part 1&2 3.Motorcycle Driver 4.Why 5.All Alone 6.Luminous Flesh Giants 7.Secret Prayer 8. A Train Of Angels 9.Clouds Race Across The Sky 10.The Souls Of Distortion 11. If I Could Fly 12. It's So Good"

Everybody's requests lately have been coincedently to my liking. It's as if you guys were inside my brain. lol It's good that to see that we are all on the same track so Joe doesn't have mixed opinions on what song he chooses.

It is my one true desire to see "Time" live at one concert though.

@Do The Stu- That Big Bad Wah song in the video could possibly be in the CD. I'm not sure. Somebody said it might not because it's just a jam. But it has the same feel/sound as Raspberry Jam Delta-V which I think was also a sort of jam based track.

I think that's all I need to say after a week of missing posts. I tried to sum it up all in one post. If I need to say more, I'll post back later.
