OK, I bought a single LA ticket with my venue password...but the CD presale passwords still aren't working for Oakland.

Argh.

OK, the preorder passwords are working now. I just got three tickets for Tracie. They're pretty good, but I'll let her tell you how good. :-)

Peace Lily - Did you buy Oakland tickets, or were you just checking for the rest of us? If you're going, where are you sitting?

Peace- I had to pass on the Portland trip because it was gonna be too extravagant for me... I ended up making arrangements for Spokane almost $250 cheaper than I could have for Portland, and Portland is frickin' closer!? I know I said I'd be a definite for a Portland gig, but when we're talking about those kinds of savings and what little bit of money I am able to bring in I kinda have to save pennies! Although if he were playing over there next week it would be a different story; we've had to move our planned trip up a few months due to some illness in the family.

A couple folks here have said that the Roseland isn't the nicest place in Portland, but the pics I saw of it looked ok, and besides; it will be JOE! He is more than welcome to come play in my back yard; the acoustics suck and there's no room for anything, but I would have a hell of a great time!

Austin- Glad to hear everything moved in to place for you with the Oakland presale. I'm looking forward to Tracie's reaction! I'm also keeping my eye on the Reno event page- still no change from tomorrow, so I think we are in the clear.

Austin is amazing and a total star....after the passwords didn't work for like...ferever (okay, probably like 45 minutes) they finally did. I was expecting another text of "still not working" or "they have lousy seats, do you want them?"....

But instead got a phone call that asked if I would mind front row seats basically in front of Joe!!! I said nah, thanks anyway.........

LOL!!! Dunno how he did it but that's what he scored!! WOOT!!

Password didn't work for about 45 minutes for west coast...try about 3-4 hours for east coast.

I scheduled a dr.'s appt. in the morning at 8:40, but I should definitely be able to be back by 11. Just in case I'm not, I've made arrangements to stop by a friends house in town and use her internet so that I don't miss the presale. As a plan B, I've arranged to be able to use the internet at my old work place next to the hospital in case my appointment takes a REALLY long time. Plan C, I'll have the ticketmaster phone number and my presale code with my and buy them over the phone. Any way you look at it, I'm buying those tickets when they go on sale, even if I have to stop the appointment and make the doctor wait!

A little digging and a few phone calls:

The Grand Sierra tells me that Joe's show on the 14th will be reserved seating only (no GA). They couldn't produce a seating chart for the event, and from the description I got the ones on the TM event page aren't exactly right, either. They told me to go by the seating chart for Steve Martin's show, so: here ya go.
Please disregard the color codes and, obviously, the prices that apply to them. This is apparently the normal layout of the venue for non GA events. Hopefully they weren't just leading me on... They did give me 3 different prices for tickets ($65, 45, 35), where ticketmaster has only 2 ($65+ fees, 35+ fees), but the venue isn't participating in the presale.

Not surprisingly, ticketmaster has absolutely no idea that a presale is happening tomorrow. The guy kept insisting that the tickets don't go on sale until Oct. 2nd; so, I wouldn't be surprised if we all run in to some problems with our presale pass codes in the morning.
If any of you don't have it, the number for ticketmaster customer service is 800-745-3000.

It's the standard "contact us" form from the online store. They did reply to me yesterday, but all they told me was that everything is working and my code should be arriving within a few business days. I also emailed our webmaster and he talked to Sony about the problem, so maybe now people will receive faster responses.

If anyone (The Bob) still hasn't received your code, try filling out this form ASAP.
