Heya death cube k.. you heard Spinal Clock yet? Man, "weird" would be an understatement but there are a few brief flashes of deliciousness.

Like Skeleton Dance for example. Nice.

To Mr.Joe Satriani, I am a student reporter for my school's newspaper, The Eagles Eye, and i would like to review your newest album, Black Swans And Wormhole Wizards, for the October issue. I was wondering if there was a preview copy or a copy of the album i would be able to receive so i can review it for the next issue. Thank you, Donald Weisse

It's so great to start your morning with a new podcast ...enjoying the new songs very much....

Do the Stu - Thanks for posting the the pic and clips of Chad.

Pip- Enjoyed your uploads very much and the last one was the best... loved the "think bubbles" they added a good dose of humor.I think you did so well (considering you were on tape AND probably a lil out of your "comfort zone" lol) Thanks again for sharing them...

Zenfish- Enjoying your latest offerings very much, have been listening to the nine songs you have on sound-click since you posted FIGHT AGAINST SNAKE. Especially like Scorp'Floyd & Escape Time ,......

If any peeps missed hearing the songs

Alright!! So I finally got around to starting my Joe playlist...got me about 50+ tunes of his spanning his whole career and have been listening to them here at work for the last 2 hours. WOW. First of all, thank goodness for Chickenfoot or I may have never taken the time to listen to Joe's solo work...let me just say that if anyone gets bored listening to Joe, it's their own fault. I never knew he had so many chilled out and relaxing tunes...very nice. But he was of course rockin' my socks off too!! Awesome, can't wait for my BS&WW cd to get here, and definitely can't wait until he comes to PA in December!! I only wish I had become a fan sooner, got a lot of catching up to do!!

Peace all!!

@302_Boss_Chick - my Joe playlist is up to 163 songs at this point, it plays for something like 11-12 hours before I have to restart it. I've been bingeing on it for over a week now, never get tired of Joe.

Bad news for me, I needed a BUNCH of emergency dental work, & my plan at work had run out, so it's coming out of pocket (no choice). This means NO JOE for me. Montreal is right out of the question, we are beyond broke because of this. I am heart-broken. I was REALLY looking forward to this tour. I, seriously, almost cried.

p.s. - Don Quixote? ;0)

sniffles,

Who has seen a Joe show at the Grand Sierra in Reno? I'm trying to decide whether to drive 8 hrs to Reno and see that show after doing the same for Portland, or flying to Spokane to see him at the Bing Crosby instead of Reno.

Any suggestions?

Ian

Ian, the Grand Sierra is REALLY nice for a show...it's an all-seated venue, I've never done it but I think some peeps can actually eat dinner during the show, I always just wanna concentrate on JOE!

The stage is very large compared to Joe's usual venues I've been at and the acoustics are wonderful!!! If you don't mind seats, I recommend it :) But I don't know anything about the other venue yer considering, however if it helps, there might be a bunch of crazy t2jers at that show and you can get a room in the same place as the show, they're very reasonable! Plus then u can keep an eye out for the band guys, they wander around in there all the time :D It's FUN!

WHO'S GOING TO OAKLAND AND RENO!! I'm not sure we can do Portland, there is a whole day in between there and Oakland to drive but DAMN thasa lotta driving fer meh! And in the winter!!

Peace, you've got the fever, LOL!!! It's a lovely disease, really :) Satchafunkilitis, no cure but who cares!!
