Skippy- Will do! I'll be hooting and hollering enough for all of us! I was a little discouraged that so many seats had been taken up already, but I guess that's a good thing, right?

*FYI RENO PEEPS- According to the Ticketmaster page, the presale actually starts on Thursday the 30th 10 A.M PDT. I believe the Road page lists it as beginning on October 1st.

Also, the seating arrangement they have listed for the show there is a theater arrangement with a GA pit near the stage. That may change, though; there are a couple different seating charts to choose from. I was looking forward to not having to worry about getting a good spot in line this time!

Correct... Joe left Peavey a few months back... he's now a Marshall man. He was after tones he could not achieve with Peavey... apparently.

Yeehaw.... I played Joe's JS2400 a few days before it was at least used on Light Years Away... I finally made it onto an album... ha ha ha... yup, ok - I've lost the plot!

KSTony - no probs, thanks

Cheese - thanks... and thanks. Also, thanks! Oh, and by the way... thank you

Powerslave214 - hi, thanks for your comment

Skip - just spreading some Joe love. I actually didnt think I was able to do what he asked.. maybe I just edited that all out an is why there's only 15 mins uploaded :-b It is always like a lil fireside chat, just a top guy as we all here know

You like my singing voice too then lmao

Do The Stu - cool gig and great pics

logicbdj - wow, way cool. Congrats

Peace - thanks, I figured the last one didn't quite work without the annotations. There may actually be one more yet... need some time.

But yes spot on with outside the comfort zone - just about any time I had to play something to the guitar genius himself

As for the food - yup, all in one hit. Is that true about H-birds? That's interesting (not sarcasm there!)... cool. So now I'm nostrahummingpippus : )

Blue Moon - ah yes, cop chick. We never did see that photo... Nov 2008... you not had time yet? lol

Will check your vid when I finish work - sounds off piste - cool

GG2 - aiming to be there. Lots to juggle right now

Gotta Have Joe - you have bought a ticket right?

Jon / Webmaster - cool, thanks for that

Have a great day all

my bad HTML... again

Pip.... :)

I have seen the pictures of Al with cop chic, and in fact have her picture-card right here on my desk...one of San Leandro's proudest, esp after she did the world a great service and arrested that bum Mckenna!! :D

Oh, and nice job on the new song Mc, yer a star as always, lol!

I'm just a bit confused on the Oakland presale, are just the club Joe tix going on sale today, and presale regular tix on sale tomorrow? I hope this one is GA....

And Ian, so far I've never been to a show at the Grand Sierra where they have a GA pit, it's always been seating. But I guess we'll see once ticket sales start...if it's GA we're screwed, lol! Wonder how fast my new car can travel that pass between SF and Reno, in the winter, loaded with people and luggage......

Edit: Ian you say the Portland show tix are on sale already too? Cuz if they are, I dunno how to get to them...using the presale code "GUITAR" brings me to a dead stop. I don't think I'm actually buying, but I'm considering it :)

Joe's lucky, he never hasta stand in line for 12 hours for one of his shows, LOL!!!

Chelle, workin on it...2 is pretty good, 3 would be better, but 4 would be outstanding!! They're just a bit clumped up for the driver to get us all there in time....wonder what a flight from Reno to Vegas would run...red-eye....hmmmmm...

Love Solitude Joe, the title fits the tenor of the song :)

Kayla do yourself a favor and buy a Club Joe ticket so you're guaranteed to be able to meet him. Then you can go scream on the streets until it's showtime.

Catholic Code words

This information is for Catholics only. It must not be divulged to non-Catholics. The less they know about rituals and code words, the better off they are.

AMEN: The only part of a prayer that everyone knows.

BULLETIN: Your receipt for attending Mass.

CHOIR: A group of people whose singing allows the rest of the Parish to lip-sync.

HOLY WATER: A liquid whose chemical formula is H2OLY.

HYMN: A song of praise usually sung in a key three octaves higher than that of the congregation's range..

RECESSIONAL HYMN: The last song at Mass often sung a little more quietly, since most of the people have already left.

INCENSE: Holy Smoke!

JESUITS: An order of priests known for their ability to find colleges with good basketball teams.

JONAH: The original 'Jaws' story.

JUSTICE: When kids have kids of their own.

KYRIE ELEISON: The only Greek words that most Catholics can recognize besides gyros and baklava. (for you non-Catholics it means Lord have mercy)

MAGI: The most famous trio to attend a baby shower.

MANGER: Where Mary gave birth to Jesus because Joseph wasn't covered by an HMO. (The Bible's way of showing us that holiday travel has always been rough.)

PEW: A medieval torture device still found in Catholic churches.

PROCESSION: The ceremonial formation at the beginning of Mass consisting of altar servers, the celebrant, and late parishioners looking for seats.

RECESSIONAL: The ceremonial procession at the conclusion of Mass led by parishioners trying to beat the crowd to the parking lot.

RELICS: People who have been going to Mass for so long, they actually know when to sit, kneel, and stand.

TEN COMMANDMENTS: The most important Top Ten list not given by David Letterman.

USHERS: The only people in the parish who don't know the seating capacity of a pew.

Skippygirl- Club Joe it is!!!! I took the plunge & bought myself & Hubby an early X-mas present. I was filled with anxiety before I took the plunge but finally justified the purchase by the fact I was not going to be able to attend other shows at that time ..LOL....( I can justify 'bout anything when it comes to a Joe show) Now I just hold my breath hoping that no pregnancy due dates change much........ but Portland is close drive ('bout 2 1/2 hrs.) and unless one of the expectant momma's go over alot or early alot it will be okay. (I hope or I will be out some bucks :-/)

nostrahummingpippus- LOL...that name's toooo long.... anyways they (hummers) love the sweet stuff too. :-)

good time to sell second hand eh, dont bother with a store

Hey guys. I have a question that has probably already been asked before, so forgive me for asking again, but I am wondering whether the bonus tracks are available ONLY to people living in the USA, and not to us poor Europeans :(? Or have I been led astray? (fingers crossed the answer is yes! :D) One more question... I'm new to the whole concert thing still, and i'm going to the show at the Hammersmith Apollo in London, and i am curious about something... despite the fact that we have all be given seats and what not, is it safe to assume that everyone will be rocking out on their feet and busting-a-move in the aisles?

Thanks!

I still haven't received the MP3 download yet with the cd pre order. It's been about 3 weeks or a little longer now. should it take this long? Kind of a bummer. The CD might be here before the MP3 download is.

Oh well, just one more week if the cd hits the mailbox on time!!

Kayla, if Joe ever plays OKC I will probably equal your HOLY SHIT posts!! lol. I have been a fan since my landlords son in Naples Italy banged my door down with the new release of Surfing.....and I have had everything since. But there are 2 things I have not had....a live show ever :( and I have never had an autograph. Almost made it to a Dallas show a couple of years ago, but family emergencies came up. And I had tix to see Chickenfoot in Tulsa, but my wife had emergency surgery the day before.....again :( I am excited for your Spokane show! Post lots of pix.

Would still love to see Joe do a live version of It's So Good. Just love that song.

@ Hybes,

if your after the MP3 of Light Years Away, then you probably already have it. If you have played the song from the satriani home page, it is saved into your temporary internet files folders. It has an obscure name, on my pc it is GKdLYrn34NFr.128[1].mp3. I just copied into my music folder and renamed it, job done !

Hope that helps
